We took him at his word after asking several questions to feel reassured. The trip was ruined when we arrived at our destination and was told the charges were $66. The miles were 23, plus one extra passenger and a start rate of $2.25. The mileage rate was $1.80 per mile. When I questioned the driver he said that was the rate. We could not see the meter it was turned away from us. We did not argue and paid the rate. Also added a $10 tip. We felt if he was right and we just had been wrong in our search of taxi rates, then we should tip. When I called the cab company the man said the rate should have been $50. He told me I had to talk with operations about the problem. When I called several times and left messages, there was no return call. I waited 8 hours. The taxi companies wonder why Uber and Lyft are doing so well! This is why!!!

After starting off in an awkward manner, it was like pulling teeth getting information. I had to ask all of the questions. No information was offered. All answers were short yes and no. I genuinely felt like I was bothering the person on the other line. I ended the call and decided to book with Prime Limo which was more expensive but their customer service put me at ease. I felt valued and knew I was talking to a representative of the business I called - not a call center.

My husband talked to him, I talked to him and our wedding planner talked to him and sent numerous emails to him. Day of the wedding came and the vehicles we contracted did come but in stead of staggered departures they left at the same time and this left 30-40 guests stuck at the hotel to find their way to the venue. We called him and tried to find a solution only to be told they were already on their way to another pick up. Jason could have cared less about trying to help us! Had to start the wedding late and that threw everything off. Guest's had to find their own Uber/Lyft which was not what we wanted at all and we were finally able to use the hotel's small bus to bring some guests out to the venue.
