A while back, I got my very first (mostly) new car! It was so exciting... right up until the paint on the front bumper started peeling off like dried up old wallpaper. Luckily, I found these guys. I took my car in, they looked at and explained to me what was probably the reason for the paint issue. Apparently, a previous owner owned this car just long enough to get in an accident and then get it taken care of off the books. Thus, the person who repainted the bumper did a cheap fast job. Then, the guys at Roadrunner gave me some options and I went with getting it repainted from the bottom up so I wouldn't have this probably again. They gave me an estimate and told me to leave with them for a couple of days. Now, 3 years later, my bumper still looks amazing! Granted, it has the normal wear and tear of being in a city but the paint is NOT flaking off. Dinging up your car sucks no matter how you slice it so when it comes to repairs friendly service is incredibly important. The two brothers that run this shop, Voskin and Jerry, made it almost ok to get into a fender bender. Not really, but you get my point. Not only were they extremely friendly, but they worked fast and got the replacement parts I needed somehow at a much lower cost than my insurance estimated for. Saved me a couple of bucks at the end of the day and when dealing with auto body repairs that's really the name of the game. These guys are definitely worth going out of your way if you've got your pick of a shop. They'll save you some of your hard earned scratch. read more

These guys are really great...its a really tiny shop and you've probably passed it many times but if you are in unfortunate need of bodywork on your car then consider yourself fortunate to have stumbled upon this place. This place is a real find! The brothers Vasken and Gerry and Gerry's son (I think) are super friendly and they won't rip you off. I was recently in a minor collision and my indicator light was smashed. Vasken ordered me a new one inside two days, installed it in 2 mins and charged me $23 TOTAL! As a naive girl walking into a body shop... I'm no stranger to being taken advantage of. You could sell me a stillrod chincything with V8 if you told me I needed it. BUT these guys were GREAT! The fixed a broken window (someone tried to rob my car and realized there was nothing worth taking.) I just cracked my windshield and I'm going back there. they gave me a great price. We've used them three times and have been very happy with their work. They are fast and I think the prices are fair. Most importantly, our cars look brand-new when they are done (well, at least the parts they fix!). They are also very nice guys - friendly and you never feel like you're getting hustled. I think these two brothers must be the nicest mechanics in Chicago! Certainly the best I've come across! They were fast, friendly, convent (they got me in and out in no time at all) and went above and beyond what needed to be done. I went in to get a side mirror re-attached to my car and they also "noticed my tires needed air, and my license plate was hanging crooked" so they took care of those things as well. I usually find auto repair shops intimidating and feel I'm being taken advantage of but not here they're are honest and beyond reasonable! I highly highly recommend them!!! read more

I recently went to Road Runner after my car was hit and left with significant damage. I had to get my bumper, fender, alignment, steering, and rim fixed. The brothers who own the shop were so helpful and their expertise was such a relief. They walked me through everything that needed to get done and worked with me on deciding the most cost efficient way to do the repairs. They truly turned what could have been a stressful and expensive situation, into an affordable and satisfying experience. I ONLY come to this body shop. They are very clear and patient, they answer all of my questions, and they always get my car done on time. The owners are brothers and they just want to help people! These guys are great! I took my car in Friday for an estimate because my passenger side mirror was knocked off my car. Gerry was so helpful and tried to help me find a cheaper alternative to ordering a new mirror from the manufacture. He told me he called 7 places but couldn't find the right mirror for cheaper so I told him no problem we'll order the original. He calls me Monday morning/afternoon to let me know he received the part and I bring my car right over. About 10 minutes of waiting and Gerry replaces my mirror and I'm all set to go! Also I have had this same repair done at another body shop about a year and a half ago and I paid about $60-100 more for the whole thing. These guys won't rip you off... They'll give you the best deal they can and they work very quickly and efficiently. Their entrance is on Leland right off of Ravenswood... Like other have said it's tucked away and a little hard to spot. Highly recommend these guys for any auto body work you may need! read more

Family owned business that treats you like family! I got rear ended in December and didn't know of any body shops. I have a newer model car in great shape so I wanted to find a good body shop. I asked around and Roadrunner was recommended. Saw they had great reviews online so I took it over to them for an estimate. Jerry looked over my car and took the time to explain everything it needed. Jerry and his brother are very friendly and extremely knowledgeable about cars. I left there with a free estimate and came back a few weeks later with my insurance claim to have the repairs done. They were able to get my car in to work on it right away. Jerry worked with my insurance company and called me to keep me informed every step of the way. When the insurance company caused delays on my bumper Jerry made calls to the insurance adjuster, parts supplier, etc. Jerry apologized to me for the delay when it was the insurance company's fault. That's how nice of a guy he is and how much they care about their customers. He went above and beyond. Him and his son even worked late nights on my car so they could get it back to me sooner. They did an excellent job. My bumper looks amazing. I'm so happy and thankful to Jerry and his family. Hopefully I never need more bodywork done, but if I do Roadrunner Auto is my body shop. read more
