After my husbands car broke down, our insurance provided us free roadside assistance via Roadnet. Immediately after finding out who would be towing our vehicle I looked up reviews. Needless to say, I was a tad (more than a tad) nervous. The service, however went great. We were given an eta for 1015 pm. At 1010 we received a call from the gentleman who would be towing the vehicle, saying he would be another 15 minutes. He arrived at 1030 and was courteous and efficient. Roadnet accepted the roadside assistance job from my car company to help change my tire. A driver called me and asked if I needed a tow or tire change. When I confirmed it's a tire change, he calls the car company back and cancels the job. I guess this wasn't worth his time. Now I'm stuck starting over waiting for a new tow company to accept the job and arrive here. This whole thing wasted 20 minutes of my time getting someone here to fix the problem because Roadnet accepted a job and then decided they didn't want the job. That's really unacceptable. read more

I was in the left lane stopped on W. Airport at 99. One of the drivers was in the right lane barely ahead of me--like corner of his bed at my front passenger corner. We both started up, and I was going to pass him. He moved to cut me off, so I hit my brakes and my horn. He stopped in his lane. I started again, and so did he, and this time he nearly hit me trying to push in front of me because I was farther alongside him. I stopped again and laid on my horn. He stuck his hand out his window and gestured at me. Then he got out of his cab. I was terrified that he was going to come attack me with the way he was looking at me, and I had no way to leave since the light was red. I'm grateful he didn't come to my window. I would NEVER trust this company to transport my vehicle based on this driver and his aggression just because he was in the wrong lane and I was in his way. read more

Absolutely horrible. I had a flat and needed a tow. GEICO contacted them and said it would take about an hour. After a little more than an hour passed, Roadnet called and said the driver was on his way. I waited and called the dispatcher when the driver was already 15 minutes late. When the driver called he said he was running late and couldn't give me an ETA. I waited and waited until he was 45 minutes overdue, then I called the company but the dispatcher wasn't answering. Would like to give them 0 stars! The driver took the job at approximately 1:53 pm. He kept telling me he was 10 mins away. He never updated me, I had to keep reaching out to him. At around 3:20 pm, I texted him and informed him that the shop closes at 5 pm. He said ok. I had to contact him at about 4 pm to reiterate that the shop closes at 5 pm. He texted back that they can wait. I contacted him at 4:25 pm for updates, he said he was 10 mins away. He didn't pick up my car until 4:43. The shop had to remain open an extra 35 minutes to receive my vehicle. He never updated the insurance tow tracker until he completed the job! The reason why I had to keep calling and texting. The tow driver Ahmad Saimeh picked up my car, dropped it off and gave me the WRONG KEY to my car as well as lied about driving my car onto his truck (confirming at some point he had the correct key). The manager Moe called me confirming they would replace the key as the driver Ahmad made a mistake. The next day the HIGHLY RUDE AND DISRESPECTFUL higher-up manager Adam called and went back on everything Moe said and confirmed they would not be replacing my key even though their driver made the mistake. I will be paying for a new key and taking this company to small claims court. Again, if you can avoid this company, PLEASE DO AT ALL COST. read more

Roadside assistance at its worse! Man asked for an address I stated I didn't have one .. but I could give cross streets he rudely interrupted me and ask I need to know what buildings I'm close to. I said none and proceeded to explain he again interrupted me and then hung up. 5 minutes later I received a call From USAA third party's assistant that my request had been cancelled and a new company was assigned. My State Farm agent sent this provider to change my tire when I was stranded on the side of the road yesterday. The service provider was extremely rude to me when he called me. It was very upsetting when I was already feeling distressed about being stuck alone on the side of the road and unable to reach my husband. I had already shared my location with the agent via a link she texted me, but apparently the service provider didn't get it. He was yelling at me because I didn't know exactly where I was or how to share my location with him. I wish I had recorded the conversation. I was stunned at how ugly he was being and how frustrated he acted at having to come help me. When he arrived, he was visibly annoyed and very unfriendly. It was uncomfortable to say the least. He also didn't pay any attention to how low the tire pressure was on the spare he put on. I barely made it home and it was completely flat by the time I pulled into my garage, which was about 45 minutes later, driving at a speed of less then 40mph. Overall, this was an awful experience and I hope it never happens again. read more

I scheduled my tow the day prior for 0630-0700 as I had a work meeting at 0800. I received a text this morning reflecting their ETA. It said 6:46...great no problem. Well....here it is 7:42 and I am still sitting and waiting. This is why I scheduled it!!! I have called twice and the gentleman said he'd have the tow truck driver call me with an update. Still nothing. Still sitting. Still no update. What was the point of scheduling this when they were going to come at their free will anyways? I have no idea how they have managed to obtain a 3.1 score because there service is beyond horrible. I would give them a negative number if i could. If you look at all the 1's they have i wouldnt be alone. they responded they would be there in 15 minutes then it was 30 more and after 2 1/2 hours i told roadside to find another one and told them about the whole experience. I encouraged them to look at removing them from their approved list because all they do is lie. All they are doing is if a better paying tow comes in they delay yours and take the higher paying one and just tell roadside they be there shortly. Such a shady way to do business. read more

At the end of waiting for an hour and a half, I called Roadnet at 281-568-9500 and managed to speak to a very rude man who spoke very poor English. Waited 40 mins after ETA, called number and the driver said he was 5 miles away but took over 20 to get there after I called. When he handed me the papers to sign he then started to just grab my keys from my hand which still had my wallet and fingers through the key rings. Then after loading up the truck he kept asking personal question and the subject of religion came up. Now I'm open to discussion but never start one with the phrase " Let me tell you how you're wrong." You will not get through to me by demeaning my personal beliefs. Worst towing company i've ever dealt with. Nobody is communicative. After NOT receiving a call from the driver (even though he said he was 20 minutes out and he would call once he was here), GEICO calls me and tells me he came to get my truck WITHOUT letting me know. Tells me the wheels are locked when that is absolutely not true. The problem with my car had literally nothing to do with my wheels plus why wouldn't he just call me to come outside? I needed to ride in the truck with him so why would he just take my truck? I had already been waiting 2 hours so at this point, i'm just pissed off. This company lied to me about canceling an order to come to my home to tow my vehicle. I scheduled through GEICO. I scheduled a day ahead of time for Roadnet to come to my home. I spoke with GEICO the day of the pickup (after waiting for a hour and no tow truck) and they said that the company had canceled the service because I was not with the vehicle. (I was out in the front yard mowing my grass at the time of the 'supposed' attempt to pick up my car.) I called Roadnet on the day of the scheduled tow. They said they did not receive an order from GEICO and that GEICO must have canceled. I know that if I have any more problems with a tow service through GEICO I am going to ALLSTATE! read more
