And they have an event space so bring everyone. The staff is so friendly very attentive to their customers as you sit down, they ready for your drink order. And that's when we order onion rings. They are so good. You don't have to worry about those big bulky menus. Your menu is on the table. It is your placemats. All dinners come with two sides. I love their tenderloins. They come with steak fries, and I have to get the vinegar slaw. It's a must for me if you like a sweet and sour slaw you will love it. I've gotten the ribeye before and they are so tender. Can't wait to get another one.And there catfish is a favorite among guest. They even have specials every night. And it's not unusual to see the owner helping out. He will take you to your table and even helps bring your food out. Anything he can do to help his staff and to make you comfortable. He is very involved in his restaurant. It's a nice place but not fancy bring the kids. There's always a lot of people here, but not a long wait. There not opened on Sundays and Mondays. But Tuesday through Saturday they do a lunch from 11 to 2 then they close get ready for dinner from 5 to 9 and then Friday and Saturday they are open till 10.

Had the pork loin special, which was quite good. A respectable gravy, and mashed potatoes that were actually mashed and not pureed. That's special. A nice, large portion at a reasonable price. Very friendly service. I call it a must-stop if you're riding the Big 4 Trail.

We enjoyed everything about this place, the feel, the look of the decor, as well as the service. Very very nice and we've eaten at a lot of restaurants all over the continent but this one takes it all. I've found that all states and countries have their own cuisine and way of fixing it but try to find a tenderloin , it doesn't exist in most places, even California doesn't know about it and here I thought they knew about everything. Trust me, if you want the experience we had you need not look any further but be sure to call in a reservation if there are more to your party and double check that you have reserved, that's always a good habit to acquire. As busy as this place gets you have no one to blame but yourself if you drop the ball, after all, what part of the word "Reserve" don't we all understand. Great place to eat and we'll keep coming back when we're here. Thanks Booker.

The dining rooms are filled with an eclectic blend of farmhouse decor. There is a homey Midwest feel with soft country rock playing in the background. The bar is downright cozy and adorable. The menu offers a mix of burgers and sandwiches. There is also a dinner menu. Our server told us that the burgers and tenderloins are fresh and hand prepared. The tenderloins are a favorite. I had the Bbq burger with fries. The burger was thick and topped with bacon, onion rings and bbq sauce on a Brioche bun. The burger was delicious. In addition, the battered fries were perfectly cooked and seasoned. They were crispy and not too much salt. The tenderloin was good. The breaded coating was well seasoned and accompaniments were fresh. The staff is welcoming, friendly and attentive. An event room is available for weddings or parties. There is a kids menu. The place is pristine. There is free street parking in front of the restaurant. Bookers is well worth the trip.

It's just not good anymore. all the servers are very nice and lots about the only thing I can complement the table we sat at was Jody the food we ordered wasn't very good. There were two places to get breakfast in town or near town. The other one was jammed and you couldn't get either a parking spot or a table so we need to have a quick breakfast and we went to downtown diner we will never do that again.

The tiny restaurant was packed with a line waiting for a table for New Year's Eve lunch. The wait was short, maybe 10 minutes. The place is not fancy or upscale - just salt of the earth. The tables are covered in Formica and clean. It was loud inside with all tables filled and people in a festive mood. People seemed to know each other. Homemade pies filled a case $3.75 a slice. We sat in a comfy booth. The menu is a mix of traditional breakfast and lunch items. They're famous for their one pound hamburgers. I ordered the daily special Rueben Sandwich with fries and coleslaw for only $9.50. What a deal! My meal was huge. The Rueben was on toasted marble rye. There was plenty of corn beef, sauerkraut, cheese and sauce. The fries were nice and hot. The coleslaw was thin sliced and sweet. I finished my meal with a slice of Lemon Meringue pie. The slice was generous and I shared it with my husband. Krista, our server was friendly and attentive. Drink orders are taken quickly. Food comes out in a reasonable amount of time. The staff was hustling to keep up with the packed house. They have daily specials and a kid's menu. Parking is limited in their small lot but there is nearby street parking.

When we drove up we were uncertain as it was a little gray building among other storage buildings. But there were about 50 cars surrounding the building. Good sign. Let me be clear, this is not upscale or trendy, but salt of the earth. There was a short line for tables. The place was hopping. The walls were covered with images of Hollywood stars. Many handwritten signs and boards described deserts, specials and featured items. We found seats within 15 minutes. The menu is filled with breakfast and lunch items that are served all day. There are quirky fun items such as sauerkraut balls (which are hand made), pickle fries and stuffed tater tots. The Memorial Day special lunch included a hot dog, hamburger slider, watermelon and a side for $8.99. The slider and watermelon called out to me. When the plate came, I wasn't expecting so much food. The slider was amazing. There were 2 smash burger patties on a nice bun with cheese, sauce and pickle. The slider was good. The slice of watermelon was massive, refreshing and fun. The homemade coleslaw is creamy and delicious. My husband ordered the Breaded Tenderloin. OMG, that tenderloin was about twelve inches in diameter and came with a large roll that dwarfed the pork. The pork was thick with a great peppery breading. He only ate half and took the rest home. We shared an order of the stuffed tater tots that were filled with potato, jalapeño, onion and cheese. Oh man, those are addictive. As we were finishing up, the owner of the restaurant approached our table. Kate Rhine has been owner/cook of The Vintage Cafe for four years. She's been a home cook since she was in fourth grade. She was cheerful and wanted to know how I liked the Memorial Day Special since I was the first to order. I loved the meal. the burger was great and watermelon and coleslaw refreshing. The hot dog was going home with us. Our server, Felicia, was great. She helped describe the menu, was attentive, super friendly and kept water glasses full. Even the fella bussing the tables was amazing and friendly. It was clear these folks were hustling to keep up with the crowd. This cafe is fun and delicious. I can't wait to go back. Thanks, YELP reviewers for leading the way.
