No department knows what is going on with the other one. Just got back from Toyota of Dothan after scheduling service at their earliest time slot-4:00 PM. I told the service lady that my truck, a 2023 Tacoma, continues its loud squeaking noise. Anyone who has been in my truck knows it's louder and squeakier than the Beverly Hillbillies truck. I had Dothan Toyota look at it months before and they told me "all trucks squeak, now be on your way." She asked if I was planning on leaving it, since it was too late to diagnose this issue. She then says you must have made your appointment on line. You should have called. I said nowhere does it say that on the website, and I explained in my problem description exactly why I was bringing it in. I said I'd be glad to leave it with you if you'll give me a loaner. I drive 60 miles there for an appointment and I want it looked at. Then she had to get the other lady who is the manager to explain that they don't have any loaners left, but I can rent a vehicle from them. Here's the issue with Toyota: , and probably all dealerships: they are your best friends when you are looking to buy, and I recently purchased 2 new Toyotas. The minute you buy those vehicles, if you are having a problem under warranty, you become the odd relative that nobody wants stopping by.Toyota service reps would rather be eaten by sharks than "give" out one of their precious rentals. It's apparently worth losing a customer over, because this is the second time this has happened to me at Toyota. I will say this for them though- they are very good at saying "sorry, we can't help you. You made a 120 mile round trip to get some help and we let the price of one of our rentals stand in the way of your happiness." I'm not sure how many times I'm going to let Toyota service slap me in the face, but I'm retired, and I've got plenty of time to tell everyone I come in contact with how my business doesn't mean much to Toyota. I bought the vehicles and now I'll have to fight them just to take responsibility for something as small but as aggravating as a squeak. UPDATE: The Service Manager "promptly" called at 4PM today and asked what it would take to make me happy. I told her "fix my squeaky truck." I mentioned I wasn't available to bring it until after the 18th and she acted a little disgruntled that I had reviewed her on 2 different platforms and wanted me to take them down now. I replied that I ONLY did 2 reviews, it could easily have been more, and they would stay up until my truck was fixed. From the sound of it, she wouldn't even commit to fixing my 2023 Tacoma. She then proceeded to claim she had done everything in her power. I told her she could have loaned me any vehicle on the lot and we could have avoided the whole ugly incident, but no, she said she couldn't budge, which is not true. I know from over 40 years of customer service experience that there is ALWAYS something you CAN do. You may not want to do it, policy may not dictate it, it may have never been done before, but there is ALWAYS something that can be done to make even the most difficult customer happy, or at least not as angry, and I am a pretty patient person, despite what Toyota may think. With all the balking I was hearing, I told her not to worry about it-I will find someone else to service my new Toyotas. I'm sure she's quite happy she won't have to deal with me again, but as I said before- I'm retired- I've got all the time in the world to tell everyone I know about the way they treat their customers at Toyota of Dothan. I'll probably never buy another Toyota, and yes, there are plenty more platforms for this review. And Toyota headquarters will be hearing about this as well.

Secondly is their price gouging. PCB and FWB Harley are right down the road and will beat Dothan by hundreds. Services and normal wear items are out of this world expensive here. $500+ for a tire?!? Absolutely insane! PCB will put the exact same tire, mounted and balanced for $279. Everyone told me this dealership was trash and I tried to give it chance. I spend a significant amount of money with Harley, and I ride roughly 20-30 thousand miles a year on my bikes. I'll be taking my business to PCB Harley from now on, which is a shame since I live right down the road. Also a shame given I'm looking to buy a new bike this spring and gotta drive an hour away to go do business but it is what it is. I'm not the only one with these complaints. Most people Iv spoken with warned me before hand. If anyone at the dealership reads this, please figure it out. It be nice to use the dealership that's 10 min down the road.

I shopped around for tires and found the Sumitomo tires I wanted, at a fair price, available here. We were in a time crunch and needed the work done right away. We were able to get right in and out. They replaced the tires and flushed the brake system fluid completely, as I requested. The brake flush was at a huge price discount compared to a couple local dealerships that I frequently visit. I decided to also get the fluid flushed on my commuter car. I took my car over to have the work done. Yes, I had to wait. They were covered up with work. As is the case everywhere, dealerships sell many more vehicles than they can service in a timely manner. That's why quality places like Road Mart are in business. I asked them to also do the oil change since I was already there. I recently stopped taking my vehicle to the dealership's quick lube due to the poor quality of service and extensive wait times. Big Mike changed the oil and flushed the brake system fluid completely. Mike found my coolant system to be leaking and noted the condition of my belt and brake pads, 30/70% remaining front and rear respectively. I asked them to go ahead and replace the front pads, 30%, while the rotors were still in good shape. I did not have them repair the coolant system leak as I had recently discovered that there is an SB from Chevrolet and a special warranty available for this repair. It's frustrating to think that the vehicle goes frequently, I put a lot of miles on this car, to the Chevrolet dealership quick lube for service, but they do not pay attention to leaks, fluid levels, filter condition, etc. Thanks to Big Mike, my water pump replacement was done at no cost to me, before the warranty expired or I overheated on the freeway. If you need some work done, at a price and shop you can trust, I recommend you give these folks a try. Yes, you'll have to wait sometimes. Yes, they get paid for the work they perform. Most of us do. You won't have to wait a week or two for an appointment like at the local dealerships.
