I worked with Rafael and he is very responsive which is the first thing I looked for when finding someone to work on the house. Although it took a little while for them to put me on their busy schedule; once Rafael agreed to a date to work, they showed up as promised. The work quality was good and they were flexible. I would use them again. read more

Rafael has done several painting jobs for us and he does excellent work! He's fast, reliable, on time and great at what he does

Quick reply, was able to do estimate from photos, was able to provide service quickly. Arrived on time, easy to work with and did excellent work. I hope to use this company again for future projects. read more

I wanted my front windows repainted because they were peeling from sun and water exposure. Rafael responded promptly with a fair estimate for just the work I needed done. (Other painting companies said they only did whole houses or had a minimum dollar amount, which immediately disqualified them.) Rafael and Elmer arrived on time the scheduled day and worked all day, almost 8 hours, making my windows beautifully restored. I'm very satisfied and will consider RMS for future painting jobs (including my whole home exterior). read more

I contacted Rafael who responded promptly and came out shortly after. He provided a written estimate the same day he came out. Rafael and his crew got to work quickly. I was satisfied with the job. Everything thing came out great. Rafael always wanted to make sure I was happy with the work. I had to have him come back out about two months later because of delayed install on my baseboards and trim. He came back out the weekend after I contacted him and finished up everything else. I will be hiring him for another job soon. read more

After interviewing and requesting quotes from 8 painters in Lamorinda, I went with RMS Painting and could not be happier. There was one cheaper quote, but I could tell the quality and materials would not be as good. Rafael and his team take great pride in their work and did not stop until I was 100% satisfied. Each time there was a slight change in plans - due to something new I wanted added - Rafael clearly and quickly communicated the additional time, materials and cost involved. The team was quick and efficient, but also thorough and detail-oriented. Highly recommend. read more

RMS Painting painted both interior and the exterior of our rental property. Their prices were by far the lowest of several bids plus we got a detailed walk through before the job was started to insure we were comparing apples to apples with other bidders. With a tight schedule to contend with Rafael worked diligently to ensure the property would be ready for occupancy by our deadline date. His crew .... managed to incorporate several scope changes without adversely affecting the schedule and they picked up after themselves at he end of the job. We highly recommend Rafael and RMS painting. George M. read more

Rafael painted a few rooms in our new home (walls, ceiling, trim) before our move in. The process was completely painless. Communication was very good. He finished on time and everything looks great! read more

Rafael and team from RMS painting have painted several of our properties and have always delivered exceptional results. When I first found them I had solicited 8-9 bids, but RMS was were very competitive, and they were also licensed and insured, which is a must-have requirement for working on any of our two story properties. RMS Painting has also repaired significant exterior dry-rot on a couple of our jobs in difficult to reach places. I really appreciated that because they were able to make the job easy for me since I didn't have to get a separate contractor involved to replace the dry rot. They make it a very turn-key experience. I'll definitely be using them again, highly recommended. read more

RMS Painting did an outstanding job painting the exterior of my home. I selected this business based on interviews and quotes from 8 different contractors. This was a major project as my home is almost 4000 square feet and I have high walls. Rafael explained the process of pressure washing, repairing cracks, priming, and finally painting. He was also prepared with the list of different paints and colors to choose from. There were no shortcuts taken and they were very detailed with making sure everything was held to a high standard. I will certainly recommend this business to my family, friends, and neighbors. read more

Great value and very professional. Rafael had the best price of all the painters I talked to.

I just had my ceiling patched, textured, and painted after a plumbing issue. RMS did such a great job that I could not tell if there ever was any damage or repairs done. His work and quality is flawlesss. I highly recommend this company for all your painting, texture, and patching needs. I have now used RMS on 3 occasions. Excellent work every time read more

Rafael is a true professional. He came out right way to look at my project and gave a reasonable quote. He worked with me on making sure he could get it done before the rain got bad. He had to remove all the caulking on a wall of 16ft windows and re-caulk it and paint the trim it as well as paint two very weather worn doors. He also identified some addition trim that needed to be sanded and painted and did it without charging extra. His attention to detail was amazing. He did a A+ job. read more

Fast and reasonably priced. Great to work with! They cleaned up after themselves and put new blinds up - very helpful.

So happy with RMS Painting. Rafael the Owner (and his crew) were so nice, very professional, on time (even early) and did a wonderful job! I also thought his pricing was good. I highly recommend them! read more

From the beginning Rafael was helpful and responsive. He was on time and gave us a very competitive quote. We chose him and I'm very glad we did. The crew were friendly, professional and cleaned up thoroughly after the job. We were remodeling so he took care of the entire interior of the house and all the cabinets. My husband and I are amazed that the cabinets all look brand new! I'll post before and after pics when the counter tops get installed. The job took a couple extra days, but his attention to detail was worth it. We will definitely call him in the future. read more

RMS Painting - Before and after. It makes the kitchen look new again! - Painters Near Me

Never again. Raphael came to my home on Friday 5/17 and I walked him through the painting project. He said yes we can do this I'll email you a quote on Monday. Which was yesterday 5/20. I never received an email, phone call or text. What a flake. If you're that unreliable and you can't even keep your word about a quote, then lots of luck getting a job done. Don't want to do business with people who waste my time. Would never recommend this company. read more

Raphael and his team got our house ready to be sold. He painted both the outside and inside. On the outside, he helped choose the shades of colors based on my choices (sage exterior, white trim, red door) and it looks sophisticated and beautiful. On the inside, he removed popcorn and painted walls, trim, bathroom cabinets, stair railings, and even epoxied the tubs, shower pans and tile walls. It looks like a new house! He did a great job of working around us, was always pleasant and professional, and his price was very competitive. And after seeing his amazing prep work prior to painting, I now understand why our self-painted rooms never looked as good. read more

We were so impressed by his work that we also asked him to paint master closet and another closet. I will gladly call him anytime I need help again. Five stars!!! read more

Rafael and his crew did an amazing job repainting our old stucco house. They replaced rotting wood (at no additional charge from the original quote), primed our house and used two coats of paint! I was not expecting that. The total job ran under $7,000, and they worked for five full days. Rafael takes great pride in his work, and it really shows. Everyone on the crew was friendly and professional. When he pointed out our arbor was rotting, he brought in his brother who does his wood work, and (for an additional cost as it was a separate job) they rebuilt our rotting deck and top slats on our arbor. Rafael repainting it. They did such a good job that three neighbors have already recruited him to paint their homes. Thanks guys! read more
