Roman is the man to call for any RV repairs or insulation. My father is 85, and he lives in a trailer, and his air went out in 100-degree weather. Roman rearranged his schedule to go and help my father right away. Not only was he prompt, but Roman also has a big heart. Many others have scammed my father in the past with high costs, but NOT Roman. Roman ended up installing a new air conditioning unit on an old trailer and went beyond what we asked. Because it is an old trailer, the roofing was not so good. Roman made sure everything was secured and leak-proof until we can get someone out there to repair the rooftop at No extra charge. I've used RM RV Service a number of times when passing through the Chicago area and every time, Roman has been quick to respond, has done excellent work and charged very fair prices. And he doesn't have any issue adding items to the list - in fact, he ends each visit asking if there's anything else that needs doing. Cannot recommend this business enough. We were stranded in a campground because our slide-out would not retract. Even though Roman does not work on Sundays and was out of town, he returned my phone call and we talked several times in an attempt to get us back on the road. Roman demonstrated great patience in talking me through what needed to be done. I finally had to call another repair shop that was closer and could come the next day. That technician spoke very highly of RM RV Service, and did exactly what Roman had prescribed to be done to retract the slide-out. This guy comes to your location to fix you coach on site. His prices beat the dealer rates in the area and he follows up on his promises. I used him on winterizing, replacing wipers, installing a new city water hookup, and replacing a gas detector. I intend to keep using him. Note that he does not work on engines. read more

Roman came to my campsite to fix my awning on my RV. He got it working but 2 days later it stopped working again. I call him and he came right out. He replaced the motor and it was working again. 4 days later the awning wouldn't close. I called and Roman came out the next day. He worked for 2 hours to try and find the problem. The awning is in great working condition now. He never gave up on trying to fix it. He is reliable and honest. I would recommend him highly. read more

I was in a real pinch - furnace fails when I'm in Chicago and temps are falling. Roman first tried to walk me through some things to troubleshoot/fix it myself, and when that failed he made time (in the midst of his winterizing crush) to meet me and work on the furnace. He replaced two malfunctioning parts (the circuit board and sail switch) and recommended i replace the thermostat asap (he didn't have the exact model for my RV with him) -- that did the trick! i still need to replace the thermostat - had to order on amazon to get an exact match - but meanwhile we have heat!!! absolute pleasure to work with too. I called RM RV Service for a problem with my AC on my travel trailer. He came out when he said he would and diagnosed the problem in a matter of minutes. It was as I suspected the unit had lost it's Freon. He had a replacement unit in the truck with him and replaced the unit in about an hour. I thought his service was excellent and cost were reasonable. It was a lot easier than taking the trailer to a dealer and dropping it off for 10 days and than having to go back and pick it up again. Roman was prompt, friendly and definitely knows what he is doing. I was having an issue with my RV furnace. Roman quickly diagnosed the issue and repaired it. I also had a small shower leak that THREE RV dealer service departments could not find the cause. Roman found the cause in about three minutes, and fixed it. I called him this year for a power issue I was having in my RV. He guided me over the phone in doing a couple of things which fixed my problem - no service visit required.
