This is exactly what you're looking for when seeking plumbing help (especially my fellow single ladies out there looking to not be scammed when getting this help). Next up he took a look at my dishwasher which had randomly stopped working to see if it was salvageable. Lou took it apart and was able to ID the issue quickly. He took the time to explain what happened, why it likely happened, and how we could either fix or get a new one. He then put it back together. We elected to get a replacement as it was an electrical issue, and he is handling the installation at a better price than what the store quoted us. I am sure that he will do an equally thorough job. As this is during Covid, Lou wore a mask, gloves, and the gauze booties, and took every precaution to be safe. He wore a mask the entire time, I could not have asked for safer service. I told Lou that I would compose a song in his honor, but the muses are not upon me this weekend and I wanted to get a positive review loaded in a timely way. We tried Lou for the first time when our dishwasher was not draining properly and door was malfunctioning. Lou diagnosed the problems quickly and communicated the issues very clearly--including evidence that some rodent had chewed through a tension cable holding the door in place. After pulling the dishwasher out, Lou found a massive nest made of the insulation from the dishwasher and observed that the occupant was in the nest! He asked for a bucket, trapped the entire nest, and took it outside. It turned out to be a very large rat that had also destroyed our oven. Lou was extremely helpful in suggesting how best to clean up the mess behind the dishwasher (which I did) before he moved it back in place. He also identified where the guys who installed the dishwasher had not set up the hoses properly, causing the draining issue. When the bill came for what was a very long time at our house (including a surprise animal eviction!), I was amazed at how reasonable it was. We were so satisfied with Lou's repair of our fridge! He responded, got the appliance info so he could be sure to have parts on on his truck when he came, asked questions by text ahead of time which had him text me back to tell me to turn my fridge off until he got there so it's continual running didn't cause more damage. That last above and beyond advice had me call off the other repair people I'd reached out to and happily wait until he could get out to see me. Not only that but he pointed out a temp regulator that was making an unusual noise but was still working (so he didn't want to replace it yet). when I asked if it was something I could do, he not only showed me how but sent me a link to the part. Call Lou at Rizik FIRST! My refrigerator was leaking from underneath. TWICE I had the manufacturer's contracted tech come to fix it, 8 days apart, because they didn't fix it the first time. After the 2nd visit, they ordered a part ... and scheduled to come back another 8 days later. But then the leak got worse than it ever had been, just an hour after that manufacturer tech left! I called Rizik after-hours and not only did Lou call me shortly thereafter, he came right over and took care of the problem. I called RIZIK SOLUTIONS LLC because I had a leak under my kitchen sink, that I believed to be the garbage disposal. I took some pictures of the garage disposal and they quoted me a price. They even picked the part up from the store because I did not know what to get. When he arrived for the repair, he was wearing a mask, gloves and foot coverings. I really appreciated the professionalism and being conscious of safety. The repair took about 40 minutes. Taking out the disposal, cleaning it, installing the new piece and clearing loose debris that was inside the disposal. The cost was exactly what I was quoted. I am very satisfied with the great work! Remarkable! I called about our dryer failing at 1pm on a Saturday. Lou was able to get to us, on a weekend, within about 2 hours. He diagnosed the problem, realized he needed a part, and got it for us the following Monday. Then, despite the fact that his day was already fully booked, he was able to get to us, replace the part, and adjust some ducting for good measure, all for the original quoted pride. All the while, he was polite, kept in excellent communication with text messages, followed Covid precautions, used shoe protectors--the works. Absolutely top notch service! Lou was fantastic. I could not have been more pleased with his workmanship, reasonable pricing, showing up promptly at the scheduled time, thoroughness and neatness. I called him to report our microwave stopped heating. He advised replacement instead of repair, unless it was a combo unit. Unfortunately, ours was a combo, so we had little choice. In order to repair this, he had to pull out the entire unit - microwave and oven - and carefully disassembled everything. There were parts and screws everywhere, but he fixed it and reassembled everything with nothing left over. And now our microwave is better than new. read more

Our washer stopped working. I thought it had been due to an electrical problem we got fixed so requested Lou to come check the washer and see if it could be fixed. Really appreciate his time and honesty. He discovered it was too far gone in other ways (nothing to do with the electrical) and that it would likely cost just as much to fix as buying a new one. I requested a quote and Lou got back with me within 10minutes. We made an appointment within 15minutes of him contacting me for today at 5pm and he was on time, had all the tools needed and was very professional. My dryer was retaining water and wouldn't dry my laundry, after he cleaned the vent and also the dryer free of lint it started working again. Don't ask me why but lived in our house 8 years with 4 stove burners that wouldn't light. Lou stayed nearly 3 hours trying to fix. Turns out the whole stove was not wired correctly by the original owner - I watched and verified this (as I and extremely handy myself).
