Anyway I get there and the salesman I worked with was friendly and the sale was going great up until the car registration. The price of registration was not included in the check that I gave them from my bank. (Words of advice, always get a purchase agreement from the dealer and finance through your bank if at all possible) No big deal, I can just write them a check. The salesman tells me its gonna be $400. I tell him that I plan to transfer my plates. I'm from Wisconsin. In Wisconsin title transfer cost $214 and plate transfer is $12, new plates is $85. The salesman disappears for 10 minutes. He comes back and says I cant do that because I dont have the vehicle registration. Ok no problem just give me a 90 day permit just like any other dealership. He says he cant do that became I'm from out of state and that the car can't leave the lot until I get the car registered. At this point im getting irritated because it doesn't cost $400 to register a car in Wisconsin. So I'm like what ever. Then he tells me that its $600. I'm like you just told me it was $400 ten minutes ago, and hes acting like he doesn't know what I'm talking about. Now I'm getting that feeling like I'm about to get f--k. I tell him what it cost to register a car in Wisconsin and their finance guy is telling me that they go through some service and that if it cost what I say then I will get a check in the mail. I have bought many cars from out of state and I have never experienced this before. So until I get that check in the mail, this is my review.

During the week, however, Lisa contacted me again to let me know that the sale had fallen through and that the car was once again available. That was welcome news. I contacted Lisa to let her know that I would arrive as soon as possible, which happened to be towards the end of the day on Saturday the 8th. One of the salespeople, Tim, had the car waiting outside so I could take a look at it. We took it for a test drive, and I immediately told him that I was interested in purchasing it. Because it was late in the day and the bank had long since closed, I made arrangements to return on Monday to finalise the transaction. I mentioned that I had an appointment that morning to donate platelets and that I would arrive at the dealership early in the afternoon. To ensure that Mike Wilson, the Sales Manager, knew I was serious, I left him a message before leaving for my appointment. That was at around 9:30 a.m., and I was told that he would not be in until 11 o'clock. To be thorough, I also sent Lisa an email. After my donation, I headed directly from the Red Cross Centre to the dealership when I received a call from Tim informing me that the car had not only been sold but had already been delivered. If I had shown a lack of interest, seemed lukewarm about the purchase, or failed to follow up with a call or email today, I would have accepted that the situation was my own fault. I wasn't direct or positive enough. However, that simply wasn't the case. Over the weekend, I mentioned Napleton to a few people and received some negative feedback about the dealership. Since I was buying a used car rather than having one serviced, I wasn't particularly concerned. Having now experienced this level of unprofessionalism first hand, I doubt I will ever have anything to do with this company again

Instead, a tech did a quick, partial wipe-down with a rag and sent me on my way. That felt careless and below dealership standards especially for a vehicle being delivered to a customer. I ended up paying out of pocket to get the car properly detailed elsewhere. Shout out to Detail Doctor!! Aldo!
