One of the coolest places in Nashua! Wanted to go for dinner but didn't go and ended up going the next day for brunch. They have a limited breakfast menu but got the feta and the morning kick. The feta was good with the pesto but a little bland. The morning kick was amazingly delicious on the other hand with the jalapeños. The bread was fresh, flaky and really good. Got Bloody Mary and mimosas, they were pretty good although more expensive than the food themselves, were around 9-10$. Overall great place with a great ambiance and great music. We were in the area and remembered enjoying coffee from the Riverwalk Cafe several years ago and stopped by hoping it was still open. I love the decor inside with all of the quotes. It's not open for inside dining now but I imagine it's a cool place to hang out when everything is back to normal. Originally, we were going to just get a coffee but I liked several sandwiches on their menu so we went with a chicken salad in a tomato wrap. We also ordered a blueberry coffee. Bad news first - the coffee was not that good. They put way too much blueberry syrup in and it was quite bitter. Bummer. Good news - the chicken salad wrap was amazing. I was surprised how heavy the bag felt when they handed me it and wow, they made quite a hefty sandwich. Filled with tons of delicious chicken salad, lettuce and tomato in a grilled wrap. Delightful. Good coffee, great location, but sweet fancy Moses, turn the music down. Been here twice. First time, someone else at another table asked them to turn down the music because they could not even talk at their own table. I went in today and it was even louder. I asked them to turn it down, and they did, but 5 minutes later it was right back up. I get it- the millennial baristas behind the counter really like their music. Know who doesn't? Everyone else. Put on some soft jazz or old blues in the background. If you're the owner, I'd suggest keeping the music at a comfortable BACKGROUND level. read more

Came in here Sunday am and wanted an egg sandwich but they were out of bagels (it was 11:15am so that was shocking) but what a fortuitous thing Bc I ended up getting their sausage egg and cheese sandwich on the biscuit and it was delicious. There was so much flavor! I also had their nutty caramel latte and it was light and pretty good. The decor is super cute and there was ample parking. All the hip, laid back, cool cat vibes going on here in this eclectic, uber chill downtown cafe with tons of personality and mixed match furniture and art. I knew we would dig this place the second I noticed the Dylan lyrics hand pained on the walls. Came for some caffeine and breakfast items for the kiddos before hitting up the annual Pumpkin Festival. Their house made buttery biscuits are apparently the thing to get...and so we did. They are offered stuffed with many different options, but the my little vegetarian ordered the simple egg and cheese and asked for tomato slices also. She loved her decent sized sammy! House made Greek yogurt parfait was ordered for my eldest and equally enjoyed! I love that mostly everything is made from scratch here! The peanut butter cup almond milk latte I indulged in was really something to remember!! If you're looking for a special caffeinated treat, and dig the candy, this is cup is what you want to get. It was unreal!! Perfectly smooth and peanut-buttery. Yum! There are a few vegan and gluten free items available. Beside the wide variety of classic and unique cups of joe (ex Autumn Cold Brew special infused with nutmeg and cinnamon), the dozen loose leaf teas, there's also a full bar and local beers on tap! Coffee AND booze? Love it! A ton of breakfast items and even more lunch options. A great place to kick back and nosh anytime of day really. We loved our stop here and could've just hung out for awhile. Many different cozy seating areas and places to just sit and relax. Some folks were getting work done. Stopped in to veg out after work. The atmosphere is intimate and eclectic, otherwise comfortable and inviting. Sitting upon the beat-up leather sofa whilst enjoying a breakfast burrito and mango smoothie had been the most relaxed I had been in days by the time that moment had come. The burrito was delicious with the feta (highly recommended) and piping hot when it came out. Counter service here. Polite staff. Friendly patrons. A chance to unwind. A chance to forget. A moment to stop. This was a much needed reprieve that morning I visited. I'd love to visit this coffee shop again. read more

I had a pretty good smoked salmon sandwich here a couple weeks ago, and was feeling good about this place. Then today, I ordered a simple hot chai latte. Hard to mess up, right? What a watery mess! The worst chai of my life. It didn't taste like much of anything, just kind of sweet water with a vague idea of spice. Gross. The ambiance is nice, but it's also always really hot in there. This place has delicious muffins and desserts both gluten free and regular. In addition they have very tasty chicken salad wrap. I typically do not eat in but they do have ample seating and everyone that works there is super friendly! If you are in the area or live near by you should check this place out. read more

The place is cute when you first walk in. There's a sign literally on the counter saying they can't guarantee anything with allergies. When you ask specifically about certain things, the people behind the counter have absolutely no idea what's in anything. Why wouldn't you be able to accommodate allergies? Especially a dairy allergy. That's such an easy thing to accommodate. The sign was super off-putting too because it basically told me this place doesn't care at all. Even if the staff knew what might be safe, I was immediately worried that they didn't really know. I left without ordering anything. Wasn't going to take a chance. read more

The coffee was fine. But paying 10 dollars for a bacon egg and cheese on a croissant is crazy especially when it's not even good. Probably the worst breakfast sandwich and I ordered 2. Waste of 20bucks. There was one piece of uncooked bacon on each sandwich, hardly any cheese and a fake unseasoned frozen egg. I could have gotten 4 sandwiches from Dunkin's for the same price and it would have been way better and I don't even like dunks. They also advertise that they sell boars head meats so I originally asked for a ham egg and cheese but they don't sell ham which I thought was weird if you're gonna advertise so much in selling boars head meat brand. Drink the coffee don't get the overprice unseasoned fake food. Also the guy who works the coffee bar is uninviting, just makes everything feel uncomfortable and awkward. read more

Since writing my first review, this establishment has new owners. The Riverwalk Cafe has morphed from a fantastic coffee cafe to a wonderful coffee cafe that is also home of the hippest live music venue within 30 or more mile of my home. Lucky for me... it is only 2 blocks from my house. I have often wandered down to the Riverwalk "just for a salad and a beer" and find myself still there 2 hours later, because the music is so good. I have come to know the family that owns the Riverwalk, and much of the staff. I appreciate that they have such a passion for good food, high quality music, coffee, and traditional cocktails. I think this place is a gem that just keeps improving. read more

If I could offer 0 stars I would!!! I have literally been to this cafe 3X and I have ordered the same sandwich each time. No changes to the sandwich right off the menu aside from asking for it on a wheat wrap vs rye toast. They have NOT ONCE been able to offer a correct sandwich. This last encounter I paid with a GC that was offered for their last screwed up sandwich.....and low and behold- it was again incorrect! I confirmed the order was taken correctly but it seems the issue remains in the inability to read an order ticket! Unfortunately there will NOT be an opportunity to screw up on #4!! read more
