I really wish I had known about this place sooner. But...how could I? The prosaic sign out front is SO plain Jane, that I barely noticed it from the street view. I must have driven by this place a zillion times by now. And I've only just moved back here a year ago. The best way to describe Simit Cafe is like when Bagel Alley meets Panera Bread. You do the whole ordering up front thing. They accept contactless payments, which is a HUGE advantage they have over Bagel Alley, whom only accepts cash. And they even have a fancy-pants Espresso machine. The interior, if we're being totally honest, is equally as unassuming as its exterior sign. They get plenty of business, yeah, but....I immediately noticed how nobody was eating their orders in. And I can see why. The furniture doesn't look all that inviting. Pretty sure I'll be getting all my future orders to-go, as I did this one. As you can probably see from all the food pics here, these are legit NY style bagels. Everything tastes farm fresh and I love the way they give you plenty of egg in their breakfast sandwiches (pretty sure there were two). As for the order itself, I'd give the bacon, egg & cheese bagel an 8 out of 10; whilst the white mocha espresso I had was probably about a 7 out of 10. It's fine, but I like Starbucks' version better (naturally). I'm not sure whether I like the bagels more here or at Bagel Alley. All I know is I'll definitely be coming back to this place over the latter due to simple convenience. Simit Cafe is closer to my house, easier to get to in general, accepts digital payments, and has some mildly impressive coffee. If the competition hopes to stand a chance, they'd have to do all this AND somehow produce even more superior bagel products. That is why I'm giving Simit Cafe 4 double-stacked eggs on a toasted onion bagel with bacon and cheese out of 5. read more

Fresh made bagels every morning with a variety of different kinds.. everything, sesame, French toast, plain. The bacon egg and cheese has two eggs and a large portion of bacon.. definitely worth the money in my opinion. Even better the staff are a friendly and hardworking group! read more

Been a regular here since day one. Love the food however it's time to move on. Over $30 for two bagel sandwiches a black coffee and a bottle of soda. Just too much for a counter breakfast. And before you say cost of goods these days, ask for one egg instead of two and you get a $0.50 credit. Extra slice of cheese, add $2.00. That's just not fair. Great bagels, and incredible coffee. Flavors (of bagels) are limited but are well made, and the cream cheese is excellent and plentiful. (It's $1.50 extra if you add it or replace the American cheese on a bagel sandwich, FYI) Service was mixed - one server was excellent and friendly and quick, another was aloof and looked bored. There was a steady flow of traffic, but mostly take-out. Nice places to sit both inside and out. Easy access from the Everett Turnpike. Will go back again. read more

Love the bagles here. Also, it's clean and spacious, friendly staff. They have bagles any way you want and they're good, so that's all you need to know. Now getting here. Do not even try to make a left on a Saturday into the shopping center. Better to turn right, make a U-turn and go straight thru the light. Thought this placed was very overpriced for what it is. I had a sausage, egg and cheese on a jalapeño cheddar bagel. The bagel was very bland and didn't have a lot of spice for being a jalapeño bagel. The sausage was alright. For over $10 there are better places to get a bagel. read more

As a New York transplant, this is by far the best bagel I've had since moving. It's a little "doughier" than I like still, but not too much. The cream cheese is always fresh, and you can even hear the crunch of the veggies in the vegetable cream cheese. You definitely need to get an iced latte here as well. They just use Peets Coffee, and I'm not really sure how they do it, but it tastes fantastic. P.S. Even though this is a bagel shop, it's a little more upscale and clean. Yum! This is definitely my new go to breakfast spot. The place was super clean and the staff was nice as well. We got the iced white mocha and 2 bacon egg and cheese breakfast sandwiches on everything bagels. They were DELICIOUS! The coffee is one of the best in the area, and the sand which was packed with bacon! The bagels were delicious and flavorful and the eggs weren't rubbery like many places. First time here. Good food and good coffee. It's a bagel shop so that is most of the menu but it's a good selection. Lunch and breakfast. Chicken, turkey, egg, bacon, sausage and more. It's a simple clean approach, order, sit, eat. Kind of a coffee shop feel. Drinks that aren't coffee, tea, or espresso are limited to bottled. The eggs were cooked perfectly. I am Turkish and when I went here, that place made my day, if felt like when I went to a Turkish bread shop in Turkiye. The bagels were really good but in my opinion, if it is called Simit cafe, you should at least sell Simit in there because it is the name and also because Simit is my favorite bread lol, but seriously though, I really recommend this place and if you add Simit, I may as well make give this a 5 star rating. read more

A new (to me) coffee place is always a must visit. Located in the Aldi plaza there was plenty of parking. I loved the wooden tables inside and the overall vibe of the cafe. They serve Peet's coffee and have a few iced flavors and other creations. I got an iced caramel latte and it was perfect. Nice and smooth with a good caffeine boost. The star of the visit though was an egg and cheese with cream cheese and a slice of tomato on a French toast bagel. Oh em gee- so good! They put cream cheese on both sides (without being asked!) and it was a really nice cream cheese. The egg was amazing. The best egg in a bagel sandwich that I've ever had. I usually give the egg away to my dining partner after just a bite but this one was all mine. Just perfectly done, with a touch of yolk and not over fried. This will be my next stop every time I'm visiting the Aldi next door! read more

A welcome addition to the neighborhood. They serve Peet's coffee and have a modest but well executed selection of bagels. I went in for lunch and got myself a pastrami bagel on everything and an iced coffee. Service was quick, efficient, and friendly. Bagel really hit the spot.
