I called Riverside Patio 'N Pool looking for a replacement part. A gentleman named Mark told me they didn't have that specific part. He still took the time to provide valuable information and even called me back a few days afterwards with an update. Mark is a wealth of information. who knows his business. It is rarity to receive such great customer service nowadays. As (bad) luck would have it, my pool heater died just a few days later. I knew I was giving Mark my business. He promptly scheduled a very friendly technician within a couple of days, and got the heater installed in under 2 hours. Thank you, Mark! read more

I waited all week for a different pool company to come and fix my salt cell. They kept saying tomorrow, tomorrow tomorrow. And in comes Riverside Patio 'N Pool to the rescue!! They came same day and fixed my leaking pipe that connects to my salt cell. Thank you!! read more

my pool pump was failing. Called on Thursday, first visit on Friday, pump replaced Saturday morning. The gentleman who installed the pump was very knowledgeable and a wizard with the plastic piping. The price was very reasonable and I can't say enough good things about this long time local business. Definitely recommend them. read more

Mark is a wealth of knowledge and tells you what you need, he's not trying to upsell you like one of those corporate stores. I'd recommend Mark and his staff any of friends and family. read more

No matter why I need to come to this place; whether it be for maintenance supplies, replacements parts/equipment or expert advice, I have NEVER been disappointed. No reason to go anywhere else for your pool and spa needs. read more

Just don't. We recently purchased a home which had its service setup with them by the previous owner. I went in person to the store to confirm that I'd like to continue service, they wrote my information down and confirmed that I would be billed. Fast forward weeks later, my pool starts turning green and I realize no one has been here to service it. I called them to ask what was going on, turns out they were unable to "add me to their route" (remember, I was just CONTINUING service). They're short staffed, etc. No one had called to give me this news. It had been 5+ weeks since I'd notified them. I understand the lack of employees. I don't understand the lack of communication. One phone call could've avoided this review, but here we are. In the end, it worked out better since I found a much better company to service the pool. read more

Staff is knowledgeable and helpful to sell products that are needed, and not push extra products. Everyone is always very helpful and nice.

We have used Riverside Patio and Pool for years. Earlier this week my pool heater died. I called for service and the next day we had a service visit. Unfortunately our neater was old and leaking. It was beyond repair. We had a new heater installed later that afternoon. The service is outstanding! I recommend them for all your pool care needs without reservation. read more

Riverside Patio 'N Pool - Our new pool heater. - Swimming Pools Near Me - Riverside, California

Prior to hiring Riverside Patio N' Pool, I had worked with a few different pool guys/pool service they would always start off so great then they would start to slack off, no shows, charges for filter cleanings that were not done, overcharges for repairs, pool still dirty after service, when the winds kick in forget it they had an excuse for every excuse. I have been with this company since Oct 2018, I am extremely pleased with their service. You will not be disappointed if you are looking for pool service here it is. read more

There is a lot to trust with allowing somebody onto your property every week. The reason of security and peace of mind combined with top-of-the-line technical expertise and the best customer service is the reason that I go to Riverside Patio And Pool. I trust them. When I was broke and could barely put water in this pool they were fair generous And friendly. I did not use their service back then I just bought chemicals. Even though I was a nobody Mark came out and inspected my situation fixed everything up) I am in a wheelchair) and kept my pool ready. He asked for nothing except the cost of chemicals. So when I got money and I wanted to have the pool redone Riverside Patio And Pool was The first and only choice to redo my pool. Mark's dad Jim work closely with me to get exactly what I wanted. We also added 1000 feet of concrete. So when his servicemen come to my house I have faith because they're all decent hard-working people. We've made our tiny little dogs out with the Pool Guy's. That's how much we trust them. read more

They finally fixed my issue I was having after putting a service request 30 days prior. There girl is rude on the phone. You can't tell someone you will be there in 30 minutes than say the will be there by 3pm at 8 in the morning. read more

They fixed my pool cleaner for free and only charged me for the parts. I saved 100 dollars over allowing a pool guy to fix it. I only done business at the store, but I find it to be top notch. read more

Great Service! Had exactly what I needed and also found a great place to get quality chemicals and good prices.

My overall experience with this business has been unsatisfactory. After an in-home inspection and estimate for my pool motor, I went ahead and scheduled a service date. Unfortunately, no one showed up for the repair and I did not receive any call, which inconvenienced me tremendously as I had made myself available for that day. Every employee I had spoken to was either distracted or confused, and unable to locate any information concerning my account. My husband and I decided to look for other businesses in the area. Riverside Pool 'N Patio then sent me a bill indicating that I was past due for services rendered to me. Again, I telephoned the store and received yet another subpar customer service experience. The employee I spoke to was giggling at something going on in the store and then left me on hold for about 10 minutes while she attempted to locate my account. This type of customer service made my issue feel unimportant and I was offended that she would giggle while I was calling to address a serious issue - the fact they were billing me for services never rendered. It would benefit this business greatly if they invested in some sort of account management system that its employees can utilize to easily access customer accounts. Lastly, maybe it would do the business good to hire a professional front desk or clerical person to manage the phones. read more

Marc has been in the pool industry for years and it shows. Competitive prices, quality products and expert advice.

We are so grateful for this place and it's owner Mark. 6 years ago we bought a house with a pool and we didn't know ANYTHING about taking care of it. Mark has been so generous with his time and knowledge and his prices are great! I would have filled that pool in and called it quits if it hadn't been for all the help & advice Mark has given to my husband. We wholeheartedly recommend this pool supply company to anyone - don't be intimidated or afraid to ask questions - this is the place to get educated! read more

Riverside Patio 'N Pool - Just a little bit of the mess... - Swimming Pools Near Me - Riverside, California

We bought a house with a pool and having no idea what to do for pools I asked a buddy (pool owner) where he goes. He recommended Patio N Pool. Since then they have come out to show me how to use everything, they have sold me quality products at fair prices and we had them move/change out our pool equipment. Nothing but honest and solid customer service from Marc and the boys. I highly recommend their business! read more

A great company! I could not be happier with their work. They showed up on time, did the job and stuck to the price they quoted. After dealing with two other pool companies who either 1. Couldn't fix the problem after multiple trips (but kept adding to the bill.) or 2. Changed the price for the work even though it was one simple part plus install. These guys were definitely a breath of fresh air. You will be seeing referrals from me. read more

I have been shopping there for years. Great company, friendly, very helpful. I purchased all new pool equipment from them. Everything went smooth and Mark is always extremely helpful!! read more

Marc Loeb and his staff have forgotten more about pools and pool equipment than most all pool services companies will ever know. They are as fair and honest as the day is long, and will never fail to accommodate a customer. I have done business with them ever since Marc and his Dad bought the business originally located on Magnolia Avenue, and never once was ever treated other than as royalty. If you own a pool, you should have Riverside Patio 'n Pool as your source for all your needs. If not, good luck. Bill Pogue (now living in Valencia) read more

Pool guy doesn't show up for weeks. After we called, he came by and did a very poor job. I figured since they were a bit in the pricey side, that they would show up and do a decent job- but NOPE! Steer clear from this pool service company. read more

We come here to get pool chemicals and recommendations on treatments. Mark and staff are always helpful and friendly. This company sucks my left nut. We have used them for almost one year and they have only come on the day that they are scheduled to come on 40% of the time. The new guy does a crappy job. At least the other guy when he showed up would do a good job. I don't suggust this company at all. read more

Basically, if you want excellent customer service and a personable experience come to Riverside Patio N' Pool. Mark and his crew are awesome. In fact, I never learned so much about my pool until I visited this place. read more

The folks at Riverside Patio & Pool are the best anywhere. Knowledgeable, friendly, great pricing, and as honest as the day is long. I do all my own pool servicing, so my interactions are mostly about water balance and picking up my pool chems (although Mark just saved my bacon on a failed pump issue!!). They seriously know their stuff. If I needed to have a crew come out and manage my pool, RP&P would be the ONLY folks I've have handle it. Mark and the whole staff are top-notch. We have shopped here for years (well my husband has, he takes care of the pools or our home in riverside) Marc, the owner, is helpful and knows EVERYTHING about pools and pool equipment, they have everything you need and if you need a special part then they can just order it. Great company and even better staff. Would recommend to anyone. I have used them for years and my parents use them as well.

Awful. The absolute worst. Owner is rude and called us liars and then blocked one of our numbers. They have missed services multiple weeks in a row and continue to say they service on our contracted day. Have had to call back multiple times for a reservice due to pool being dirty still. read more

Riverside Patio N Pool Supply and Martin in particular truly left us grateful and satisfied with their work. We were dealing with a filter tank issue that was quickly threatening our pool water and making it impossible to swim. We made an appointment a couple days in advance and they were communicative and punctual. Martin showed up, immediately assessed the situation and provided a fair estimate, left to go get a part, came back and finished the whole job within 90 minutes. He stayed to make sure the system was running properly and to let us know to not hesitate to contact them in case of any future issues. Our system is now running better than it ever has and we couldn't be more pleased with the results. True value and professionalism, you guys will have our business in the future, thank you. read more

Mark is honestly such a ray of sunshine. He was so helpful after bog era pools sent me here for my chemicals. He was very informative and gave me a great price and even gave a floaty to my nephew who chewed a hole in it haha. I'm so glad I was sent here because I know that I am I'm good hands with my new pool. I had an accident getting Chlorine in my eye and accidentally put all the chemicals in the pool that were supposed to last the month. I had to go buy all new ones and mark was so understanding and helped me again on the cost all on my mistake. I won't be touching chlorine anymore since I am accident prone so I will be having his pool service maintain my pool levels for me. It's about the excitement of finding a great babysitter for your kid except the kid is my pool and the baby sitter is mark. Thanks again and look forward to our future business !!! read more
