Riverside Inn is located right off the 5. There is a large parking lot and a large outdoor space for events. Inside you will find both tall and short tables as well as a bar top with approximately 15 seats. There is a pool table at the front entrance and a jukebox located in the bar. To start, the Riverside Inn has great food. We've tried multiple items from the burgers to the shrimp basket - onion rings to sweet potato fries. Everything has been delicious and hot - tastes very fresh ! The chef here definitely knows how to cook a burger! The patrons that come here are always fun and having a good time - like most of the locals here are like family. The only downfall has been the service at the bar by the young male bartender. Service from both females has been great - they have always been friendly . But the younger male seems unhappy to be there (which he very well could be) but it makes the customers uncomfortable. He has a way of making you feel as if you're inconveniencing him if you ask for something and you'll never see him smile. As someone who worked in the industry for over 7 years, it's not the typical personality you see behind the bar. I've been to Riverside quite a few times, and each time I hope it improves. Unfortunately, you can expect to wait 1-2 hours for food. The wait staff is friendly, however more often than not it is not worth the trade off. The restaurant ambiance is neat, but doesn't justify the 30-$40 price tag per person. read more

The Riverside restaurant was a fixture in my life for many years. It was more than just a gathering place. Yeah the food was great and it was priced fairly and you knew the wait staff was going to treat you exceptionally well because they did it over and over again and you just kept coming back. And it was always packed in the summer. It was a just great, great restaurant. I brought my college girlfriend there one summer and then later she was my wife and we brought our children there. And then we woke up one day and Riverside was gone and in its place some strange thing emerged that called itself Riverside but was something else entirely. I know nothing stays the same but I have no idea what the people that run Riverside today are trying to do --but I really miss what that place was. read more

We have been coming to Riverside for over 30 years. They may have new ownership that remodeled the place, but you can't remodel poor manners. The owner and his son couldn't be any ruder. On this last visit we sat for at least 15 min waiting to order. I finally went to the bar and asked nicely if we could order our food. The owners son said, "yea, when everyone else does". The owner heard it and didn't flinch. The people at the bar looked stunned. But they did say that's how he always acts. Good customer service is not dead, but it is there. So, we came down to Bimbos. Good food, great service and no bad attitude. I gave 1 star because you had too. I would have given none. read more

First visit and we will return. We arrived right at 10:00 as they opened on Sunday morning. Buffet breakfast offered many different flavorful dishes; multiple egg options, biscuits and gravy, pigs in a blanket, cheesy hash browns, breakfast pizza, pastries and fresh fruit and more. First of all I read/post reviews on just about anything on both Yelp & Trip Advisor so of course I read the 2 reviews on The Riverside. And after our experience I had to wonder if they were at the same place I was. We attended a wedding there on Sat 10/9. The wedding was small and intimate and the back yard of the Riverside was perfect. Was beautiful with the fall colors. The reception was also at the Riverside and was buffet style. The food was very good and plentiful. So much in fact that a lot of people took to go boxes. The way you had to maneuver the buffet was a little off but we dealt with it. Although we haven't been there at any other time just for rinks and a meal, we do plan on visiting again. read more

We decided to eat lunch at Riverside during hunting season. Waited for a good 15 minutes for menus. Waited for another 10 minutes for a beverage. Finally, the (one only) waitress took our order. Waited for another 35 minutes for our food. Cold food. Cold fries. Waited for another 10 minutes for our bill. Finally, my husband went to get the vehicle while I walked up to the bar to pay. My fiancé and I come to the Riverside Inn every time we are on the Range visiting family. The renovation is beautiful, the staff is friendly and their boneless wings are the absolute best! Had made a reservation and when we got there they put us with a wedding party. The party was very rude and even grabbed snacks off our table and said they weren't for us. We were so embarrassed since we had visiting company. We did not ask to be seated there. We were offered outside seating with no umbrellas and with little kids that wasn't going to happen. This is the first time I have ever written a review on Yelp, or anywhere else. I was compelled to download this app and write a review for the first time entirely because of the treatment my wife and I experienced at this restaurant/bar. This is the second time we have gone to the Riverside Inn, and both times we experienced the same rudeness from a bartender named "Connie." Connie was not only rude to my wife and I, but was very inattentive and disrespectful, as if she was inconvenienced by us being there. We are very low maintenance patrons, and always tip well, knowing that restaurant employees work hard, that they work for tips, and that my wife and I both worked as servers in our younger years. However, our experience with Connie was so awful that we will never come to the Riverside again, as long as she is working there. read more

The worst service I ever had was at the Riverside Inn. One guy at the bar. My wife and I at a table. That's it. For twenty minutes the guy behind the bar was talking with the guy at the bar . Got up and told the bar tender we have been waiting twenty minutes and we are leaving. He said " to bad". I rather go hungry then to ever give them a dime of my money .
