They were very responsive and knew exactly what I needed. They came out within two days. The job that was done was excellent, and the two guys were truly craftsman. We received quotes from several companies prior to booking Riverside. They were very communicative and easy to reach. They were patient answering my husband's myriad of questions and managed our expectations in terms of final result and timelines. We had to do some masonry work in conjunction with the fence and they were patient and easy to schedule around the mason. We had some minor hiccups with the locks on the doors - they quickly came out to fix them. The final result looks perfect! Even my perfectionist husband didn't see any flaws. I worked with a team of Amy, Bob and his install crew. I could not be happier with how the project turned out, and though we are still waiting for a crew to return to stain the fence, I'm sure that will go well too. Bob was super helpful in understanding the custom horizontal board fence we wanted, and even gave us some on the fly improvements to make it look better. You can tell that he and his team have worked together frequently as they presented great synergy throughout. The company really went above and beyond to make sure that the end product was not only something they would be happy to say they made, but that in the end the customer walked away with the best looking fence on the block. Our experience with Riverside Fence has been so disappointing. Originally we decided to contact them because of the positive reviews regarding perfectionism and the quality of work. However, neither of those are worth it with the HORRIBLE customer service. After Lisa told my husband and I that if we want the price to fit in our budget then we should consider a deer fence and EVERY quote missing important details/addressing previously discussed concerns, we are deciding to be patient and find the perfect fence company instead of settling. Riverside seems to not have the functionality to provide visual support for their quotes and they DO NOT answer questions are address concerns. If someone is paying around $20k for a fence and they want to see something more than words on paper that only someone who is extremely familiar with fencing would know than I think it's the company's responsibility to provide clarification and additional details. I even reached out to the owner, Robert Kaye, to let him know how disappointing this experience has been...he doesn't respond either. I was told by Lisa that their business model is very similar to the "shop small" and their business is by word of mouth...well from my mouth to whoever wants to consider Riverside Fence - - - - DONT! Don't let something that is supposed to compliment your property be in the hands of these individuals. read more

You should first understand that I am extremely critical when it comes to quality workmanship, but even more critical when it comes to receiving excellent customer service. Most type "A's" are like that and most are never satisfied. However,I must tell you even with my high standards Riverside Fence deserves a 5+ Star rating. Founded by Robert (Rob) Kaye, once you meet him you will understand---integrity without a doubt; pride in the product his company produces that is hard to be match; coupled with a workforce who share these same standards--- that is what you will be getting with Riverside plus much more. Now hear is the interesting part, you may think you will be paying a great deal more for the quality product Riverside produces--let's just say that when I compared the quality of the product I was receiving to two other fence company's I have used in the past---and the price I paid----well the decision was easy---I went with Riverside. Now here is an interesting side note---it is inevitable that the ground shifts from time to time--or maybe an area of the wood bleeds out and needs additional touch up---in most instances you would be waiting for these issues to be addressed for weeks since your fence had been delivered and paid for---this is where excellent customer services comes into play---Rob had a workman at my home within 48 hours and everything was addressed in one day. I cannot say enough good things about this company---compare Riverside to others and I guarantee you will not only be happy with the end product but you will not hesitate recommending Riverside Fence to others.
