Tel (703) 708-7991 https://www.zeinounrenovation.com/ I have been dreaming and saving for my new kitchen for years. It was quite a big project since I wanted to remove the wall between my kitchen and dining room, move the gas line and plumbing, close a small window, and install hardwood floors on the whole main floor instead of wood, carpet and tiles, which we previously had. Tony listened to my ideas and requests and was able to perfectly execute my vision. The whole renovation project has been stress free as Tony took care of every permit, timely order of all materials ( all excellent quality), paid attention to every detail and was patient when I asked for small modifications. He made my dream kitchen come true. I strongly recommend his services and would definitely use again in the future for other projects. Tony is very experienced, professional and reliable.

It appears my 10K budget for labor was too small a project - which is fine. However, the contractor did not intend to respond after the initial site visit. I had to follow up to request an update on the quote which is when he responded: The way I see it it will cost a bunch of money and I'm not sure you are willing to have that conversation. Am I wrong? How can you negotiate without providing a quote? Poor customer experience to say the least. Contractors need to understand our time is just as valuable as yours and that customer experience matters as much, if not more, than anything else. Customers can handle it if the contractor is not interested in the job. It's rudeness we object to.

I don't often wax poetic but J&D are amazing craftsman, fair, reasonable, and fantastic! Stick with me here.. **If Sean Chase contacts you, do not work with him.** Sean Chase does not work for, or represent J&D Carpentry. Sean Chase is not a partner with J&D Carpentry. Sean Chase is not a "lead estimator" for J&D Carpentry. What Sean Chase is, is dishonest. Sean Chase answers the Angi/Yelp requests then misrepresents himself as a "lead estimator" of these small businesses. Sean Chase takes advantage of these small business owners, charging them 10-30% of the project cost to sell them the contract, then removes removes himself from the projects. Sean Chase is a salesmen in all that, that implies. What Sean Chase will not disclose, (until the project goes sideways, and he has to) is that he actually works for a large company, and he is an "independent salesmen." **Sean Chase cost us time/money for what should have been a 6-8 week project 9x22 small porch, (worst case with permitting), and turned it in to a five month project (June 24-November 29.) ** All that being said, I will fairly credit Sean with recommending J&D Carpentry to pick up a project (which had been delayed for months) because of Sean Chases' inability to be honest, transparent, proactive on multiple occasions. Juan and his team are fantastic! I requested a Thanksgiving day completion date. Juan listened, he was honest, and helped me to manage my expectations, he promised to help and do all he could to make the miracle at Thanksgiving. No kidding, rain or shine Juan and his team were working on this project. Juan delivered, as promised after Sean Chase spectacularly failed to uphold all of his. I cannot say enough about the fantastic craftsmanship of all the men involved in this project. I am very particular, the attention to detail, and the beautiful end result met every expectation. The pictures say it all. The addition of the porch took the corner from meh, to YEAH!! We LOVE IT, it's beautiful, we are incredibly thankful. I cannot recommend J&D enough, he will be my go-to for any future home projects/renovations. ¡Gracias Juan y tu equipo!

Like many previous reviewers we took a long time and many attempts at finding the right outfit to…read moreremodel our master bathroom. As is the case with contractors - the market is filled with charlatans, unprofessional, and fake "designers" who are aiming at stripping you out of your money by pushing solutions they most profit of, obscure proposals, predatory contracts and other less than honest methods. Pascual turned out to be a wonderful exception: a true professional, who is not only a contractor but is an excellent project manager - it takes one to know one! You get a hint about that already in the web introduction to PLF's 6 step process - music to our ears. In the introductory phase we found him to be an excellent listener and demonstrate an ability to provide solutions to our desires, rather than push his own, while contributing some real good ideas to achieve our wishes. An example for that was the existing floor tiles we had that were in excellent condition, met our taste, and we therefore wanted to keep and re-use in the new design. Almost everyone else we asked for a proposal insisted it was not possible, had to be broken in the demo phase, or cannot be integrated into the new design. Pascual, however, accepted it right away, pointing out the risks of having some of them break in the process, but knowing we had some spare tiles assured us it was possible. Pascual also showed a willing to compromise during the contract phase regarding material and labor components so that we could implement exactly what we wanted. We were able to reason with him very easily and in a non-confrontational manner. As for the work itself - we found out he promised less and delivered more - a very rare experience, contrary to what you often find in this field. He managed the project as a conductor with his teams of artists - that is how he referred to his crews, which we found amusing but very descriptive of reality. He was present for 90% of the work, certainly for all unexpected issues that are always to be expected in such projects. His calm and confidence demeanor characterized the project and was very reassuring to us. The result is a fantastic sense of satisfaction to us - getting everything we wanted and more, in a most reasonable price in a very short time - way less than promised. As the many reviewers before us we are now looking forward to other significant home improvement projects knowing we have Pascual and company in our team - they truly do it as if it were their own home, and it shows!

When frustration would hit a peak, Jack would guide us to the next step. Much appreciation to Tawanda for her administrative support. Coverage in place and upgrades added, Nick S. was our dream project manager. Haley B's design and product knowledge made material choices and upgrades appropriate to budget and HOA specs, where we drew heavily on her home exterior design skills. Her enthusiasm and resourcefulness was an invaluable assist with color and material selection. Contrary to intent, we became the customer with last minute design/material changes. Nick, Haley and Mike S. took on supply issues, with considerable effort, and succeeded to deliver, to our delight. Carolina R. and Nick were on point scheduling material deliveries and installation crews. Responsive by phone call or messaging, always accommodating our needs. The roofing crew was exceptional, efficient and careful with our property. Nick, always hands on with the details, keeping the project moving forward. We came to rely on his morning messages keeping us informed. To the bulk of the restoration, Doug R's attention was also on point. Here, Santos and crew were hands on installing insulation, siding, trim and eaves. Their attention to detail and craftsmanship notable. When the gutter installers, Amilcar and crew, remark on how well the siding, eaves and trim have been installed, you take notice. All enhanced by their great gutter install. Nick addressed every last detail, as Santos personally gave attention to every detailed appointment. If need arises, without hesitation, we'll be repeat customers of Douglas Roofing and would easily encourage anyone to seek their services. We thank all those mentioned, but especially Jack, Nick and Haley. Your professionalism and personable customer service made this process enjoyable and we're delighted with the outcome.
