This place is truly amazing. I love Dr. Patel and Dr. Gupta. They are caring and compassionate. Their staff is also amazing and loving people. The place is very clean and I trust them with my oral needs. I since moved to New Jersey and although, NJ has plenty of dentist, I prefer to take the trip to Yonkers to be seen by people I trust. Found this dental place randomly while visiting a doctor near by. I met with Giselle - front desk who was super friendly - she helped me find my insurance coverage . She set up an appointment for a week later . On day of appointment I was running late and The owner accommodated my lateness, almost an hour late . although she was stern, I quickly understood it was based on not having other patients wait due to my lateness. I saw Doctor SHER and she was super patient, knowledgable and friendly . Ellie , the assistant, took my X-rays and was sweet and patient , she explained every procedure before I met the dentist . I had a cleaning and the whole thing was done quickly and with care. read more

I have only been to this facility once and had a fine experience with the previous staff and the dentist I saw. Fast forward to the new highly unprofessional and rude receptionist. I scheduled an appointment for my husband and I a month or so ago, she calls to tell us it was cancelled and needs to be reschedule every day for almost two weeks. No details to why it was cancelled, just urgency on my voicemail to get it rescheduled. Both of us work busy scheduled and cannot pick up during business hours. I finally picked up today and she just starts babbling off asking to reschedule and follows by giving me attitude because I asked where she was calling from. Thereafter, I asked what happened to our appointments and she rudely said I already told your husband. Meanwhile, she is calling my cellphone? Then tells me do I want to reschedule because she has called every day? Huh? In what world does harassing your clients to reschedule equal giving them attitude because they haven't rescheduled. When I told her I will CALL HER back to reschedule, she just hung up. No good bye, okay no problem, thank you. I called back to ask for the manager but apparently she is the manager (if that is true, that's really sad for current and future clients). There is no way in the world my husband and I will ever walk back into that Dentist office. They lost two clients because of a bad hire. read more

I agree with many of the reviews regarding Dr. Patel's unprofessionalism and rudeness. She hung up on me as I was apologizing for my daughter missing appointments and explained that she believed that we still had active dental coverage, but do not as I have a new employer. I had great experiences with the other dentist, Dr. Scher (not sure if I spelled that correctly), but Dr. Patel is so disrespectful that we will not be returning. I am appalled. read more

Worst dentist office ever! The owner is extremely rude and careless. The same goes for the staff, it's honestly such a shame. First off, when they call to schedule an appointment they don't disclose who they are on the phone which is awful phone etiquette. Second, they don't give you options of when you can come in. For example, I scheduled an appointment on a weekend because I work Monday-Friday. They called the day before to confirm (again without disclosing or greeting me on the phone lol). I had an COVID related emergency the day of. Which was a possible exposure to COVID by a family member, I had the courtesy of giving them a call to reschedule/cancel my appointment. The owner was extremely rude about it and didn't understand my situation which was awful. The owner proceeded to tell me I would have to pay a 50 dollar cancellation fee that is issued by my insurance which is a lie lol because I've dealt with other dentist offices and I have never been charged a fee for canceling an appointment. Anyway, during this exchange the owner proceeded to tell me "I just don't want to come in" and was speaking over me. I had to give the phone to the person who possibly gave me COVID and let her tell the owner that it's a serious situation, and by me canceling I'm keeping her and her staff safe. If you are looking for a dentist in the Yonkers area, stay clear of this one. Extremely rude staff and owner. read more

Front desk is extremely rude and Dr Patel will try to upsell you on everything imaginable. Did not feel comfortable here at all.

I love going to this place because the dentists are nice however the owner is very nasty, disrespectful and speaks to her clients as if we owe her something. She forces appointments on you and then get upset when there is a no show. She's calls 50 times a day to make sure the client is coming and when there is no answer she calls from different numbers. I felt like I was being harassed each time I had an upcoming appointment. They change their business hours whenever they feel like it then call you and tell you they have to reschedule. Today they were supposed to be open and they didn't even open. I recently canceled my appointment because my child's class had a case of Covid and out of caution for others I canceled. She got belligerent with me and said it doesn't matter everyone here is vaccinated. I said what about others that may not yet be ? She didn't show any concern, she didn't ask me if me and my family was okay, she just said you know what you don't want to come we are going to charge you $50 and hung up on me. I called back asking to speak to a manager and she said she is the manager and there is no one else to speak to. I asked for her name and she just hung up on me again. I have voicemails of her leaving very nasty unprofessional messages. The customer service is just horrible. read more

I had a very bad experience my last visit. I was inverted to a point I was almost upside down. I was administered a local anesthetic and when the doctor was finished I was so dizzy I couldn't stand. After about 15 more minutes in the chair I stumbled to the waiting room. I waited for about 2 hours and I still was feeling very dizzy. I had to call 2 friends to get me. One to drive me home one to take my car. It was days before I felt better. I still have some dizziness issues. The most disturbing thing is that nobody ever called to check on me. Not that day or any day after. Everyone knew I was feeling very ill. It's hard to believe they deal with patient care. VERY DISAPPOINTED! read more

Ask for Dr Chae. He is the best. Super thorough and excellent attention to detail. I got burned when my previous dentist just kept saying, yep, looks good! see you in 6 months! I knew it was too good to be true...2 years later, I need a lot of work done because little problems were allowed to progress into major issues. So. Mad. Would highly recommend this place. I LOVE DR. PATEL! She is friendly, fast and knowledgable! I went to her all year and she is the best dentist I have ever had. I go in for my 10am appointment and am walking out by 10:30 with a smile! I lost my job in November 2015 so naturally my tooth cracked last night and was rubbing on my tong (ouch). I called at 1:45pm and they set me up with an appointment for 3pm today! When I walked in Dr. Patel knew my name and told me to come right in. Within 15 minutes my tooth was patched and as always, I walked out with a smile! I'm starting at new job in January which she completely understood and told me not to worry about it until things are back in order for me! She is the best! read more

What a POS. I was laid off on 7/16 and only have dental coverage for 60 days after. My 30 year old bridge started causing me pain a month ago so I went in to get an evaluation. Dr. Patel told me it would take four weeks to get insurance approval so I waited the four weeks and then called today to find out the status. Turns out she never applied for the approval. Now I have to find another dentist and wait another four weeks for approval. In the mean time I can't chew on my right side and may end up loosing my coverage by the time I can get the work done. She also didn't answer any of my calls and was too busy to come to the phone when I finally got her receptionist. Do yourself a favor and avoid this incompetent POS. read more
