The security screening process could be improved by adding additional queue lanes. The building interior seems overall clean, but the restrooms were filthy even though the center had only opened a half hour before I tried to drop a dookie. The vending machine was nearly empty, and there were some shady characters lurking in the hallways. Some lady next to me right now is trying to pour soup from a thermos into a small cup and it's very annoying.

I was expecting a huge crowd and that even with an appointment I'd still end up waiting forever (which is usually the case at places like this). But nope -- they called me in exactly at 9:30. I needed a Social Security card replacement, and at first the system threw an error saying my identity couldn't be verified and that the investigation could take months, even though I needed the card ASAP. Luckily, the representative explained that it happened because I'd previously tried to apply online, which I wasn't eligible to do since I'm not a citizen. He deleted my old application, restarted everything, and it worked! A week later I already got the new card mailed to my address. Huge thanks for the punctuality, the clear process, and the genuine willingness to help -- because of that, I was able to get my replacement document so quickly. I'm really grateful for the whole experience.

The parking lot was fairly big. It didn't seem to far from the Friends Outside center located at the end of the parking lot. Upon approaching the visitor processing center you a greeted by a guard who is checking in visitors by the time of appointment. He was not bothered by my billion questions regarding mine and my grandmother's appointment time. We arrive 2 hours earlier so we knew there would be a wait if we couldn't be processed sooner. There were benches outside so we sat there as we waited. We waved in within 35 minutes. Entering the processing center there was a line for you to turn in your paper slip. Once you've done so you take a seat to wait to have the last name of the inmate you are visiting, called. That was like in 5 minutes. Unfortunately I had to have my bra fixed in order for me to enter but that was my fault. CO's were thorough and informative of what was needed and what to correct by the next visit. Minus 1 star because vending machines holding the food were bare. Although i'm not fond of my father my grandma was looking forward to buying him a lot of crap. Lol. She didn't get too. Machines were stocked at 1 which after that they called people up by inmate names but i'm not sure if they were making a lost or not it was 2 when we left so we didn't get to get anything after the re-stock aside from more sodas.

As a resident of Southwest Riverside County, this is where I go to serve out my yearly jury notice. The drive to Riverside or Corona is too much and luckily you can serve here if you're an area resident. They've recently expanded the parking lot to accommodate more jurors and potential jurors. I'm sure they'll erect a parking garage within a few years. The expansion potential here is nearly limitless. There is also a juvenile detention located on this site. It is nestled at the rear of the campus. The juvenile hall is run very well. The entire staff is courteous and professional. Can't be wasting my time...

She didn't want to give me info and was getting annoyed I kept double checking what she said. When the 1st and 2nd times they didn't do their job right and gave me wrong info. She's like I already told you the info I don't need to repeat it I'm like well you gave me the info the 1st and 2 nd time too. And whoever enters the info online on the website ALL WRONG TOO. Just gross behavior. I'm from La I had to drive back 3 times. THREE. Their system is just horrible. Lobby people are nice but have no access to any info or any role in the bail checking process. Update: I dropped off the bond for the third time at 8:30. I called southwest justice detention jail just now at 9:13am to see if it's "approved" since a good amount of time had passed. The female officer is like you couldn't have dropped it off 40minutes ago I was the one you talked too and I'm barely on shift. I'm like I have a time log on my phone. What do you mean it hasn't been 40minutes. It took them 40minutes to get the bond. And she said it'll take another hour to approve it. This was a great spot to stretch our legs and walk around looking at all the quaintness! There was a lasso for people to try and hook onto horns. There's also a small petting zoo. Pioneertown really does feel like stepping onto an old Western movie set. We didn't expect to enjoy it as much as we did, but the atmosphere is just so cool and different from anywhere else nearby. It's great for wandering, taking photos, and just soaking in the scenery. It also has a small petting zoo inside ($10 per person), along with some pretty unique (and super expensive lol) shops, and a couple of restaurant bars (I'd strongly recommend making a reservation ahead of time since it gets packed pretty easily.) We had a great time during our visit to Yucca Valley, and Pioneertown ended up being one of the highlights of the trip!
