I just graduated Cum Laude in the first LVN Program at the Riverside campus and it was worth all…read morethe sacrifices. Nursing school is not easy, I didn't expect to go into it without a full commitment or the mental preparation that it will be hard. I basically let go of any idea of a social life, had to significantly cut down on my expenses, and it was still a struggle. I worked with Lesley as my admissions/Recruiting Rep and enrollment was an a smooth process for me, she provided me with all the information I needed including the hours I would have to dedicate and set aside for classes so I knew full well what I was getting into. The Director of the non core classes was on campus very helpful to me when I had questions. The Anatomy and Physiology instructor Mr. Ali was the best! I mean just the most wonderful instructor to lay the groundwork needed for core classes. He made the course work fun. The instructors gave us the tools and resources and it was our job to utilize them. We had to put in the work and time consistently and I tried to fight every urge to procrastinate and put it aside. I failed sometimes time I didnt and passed the times that I did. Our the director Ms. Rayna was an awesome resource, always available, always looking for ways to help us learn, grasp the information and be prepared to practice safely after graduation. She was incredibly supportive and that's pretty rare compared to other schools I have attended. The instructor were the best, our campus was so lucky, I'm not sure if they are still around but Dr. Mahdi was our fundamentals, pharmacology and mental health instructor and I have always said every nursing student needs Dr. Mahdi to shape them into responsible nurses. She had a very hard expectations just as families for those we serve will have high expectations. Her way instructions helped me seriously grasp the concepts early on that were on the NCLEX exam. Kristin taught us Maternal, Peds and Leadership, she really carried us through. She is so inspirational in how much she loves her job and her patients. She drilled into us the importance in our role as educators. She is the reason I decided I wanted to work in women's health. She is honestly the greatest. Ms. Amie, Ms. kim, Dr. Joseph, Rochelle were also great instructors, inspirational in how they showed us the different fields of nursing are available to us. Available as support in and out of the classroom and just the best mentors to have guiding us. Ms. kim I would say probably made the biggest impact in my nursing trainings in terms of how she taught me to learn the concepts, write my notes, memory recall, and pass medsurg. It wasn't perfect, there were some very bumpy roads but looking back I would definitely choose Stanbridge again. Just had the greatest people to introduce me to the nursing profession in the safest way possible. Thanks to that I passed my Exit, NCLEX and got my license all in one month. So A+ for efficiency

I'm writing this review to warn others about Stanbridge University and how they took advantage of…read moremy wife, both financially and academically. This school is marketed as one of the "best," but that couldn't be further from the truth. From the lack of professionalism to the complete disregard for students' time and money, Stanbridge has proven to be nothing short of a scam. My wife was scammed out of thousands of dollars in tuition, and when she submitted an appeal for a class she barely missed passing--by just 0.5 of a grade--they denied it without consideration. No real explanation, no empathy, just a cold "no." The appeal process is a joke. The people in charge clearly don't care about students or the money they're investing into this program. Appeals aren't taken seriously at all, and there's no transparency in how decisions are made. The office staff? Absolutely no help. Every time she reached out for assistance, it was either a vague response or being passed around from one unhelpful person to the next. The professors are no better--some of them literally hand out test answers and then still find ways to penalize students unfairly. They even dock students on attendance after telling them they could leave. How is that even remotely fair? The financial aid office is another nightmare. They're quick to take your money but completely useless when you need actual help. My wife was given instructions on how to get assistance, but the help offered was generic, dismissive, and ultimately pointless. Stanbridge University paints itself as a top-tier institution, but behind that façade is a money-hungry operation with little to no regard for student success or well-being. If you're considering this school, think twice. You're not just risking your education--you're risking your time, mental health, and a serious amount of money.

For the most part, all the information you can ever need to get through a basic associate's degree and transfer is available online on their website. Not sure why everyone is hellbent on meeting with people to go over a basic ed plan, AI will do it for you and better. I really don't understand all the negative reviews; people actually point out their faults and shortcomings in the navigating process but somehow its somebody else's fault. "I had good grades, but I turned in some work late and got a fail" really, take some responsibility. Sure, I can understand that its overwhelming at times, and downright frustrating to not get answers right when we want them. But you have to understand the scope of this type of institution. Every year its the same, predictable even. Yet most complaints are just gripes about how their experience was "tough" because nobody helped them personally, welcome to the real world. You look out for yourself. You will have to be the squeaky wheel to get the grease. Ask lots of questions and don't be afraid to rattle some cages. Afterall the people who work at RCC are just people, forget attitudes and personal feelings towards the staff. Remember you're there for a personal goal and that should be your focus. If one counselor is not helpful go to another one. If you don't like the way your degree is shaping out, change it. Don't be a complainer who does nothing about it. RCC is great, really people don't hesitate to ask your professors questions, they are for the most part really down to earth people trying to make a difference. The photography department is top notch also FYI. Good luck to you all.

From the start, I felt like just another paycheck to them rather than a student. The classes are rushed, the support is minimal, and it's clear that the focus is on enrollment numbers and tuition payments rather than genuine learning. What ultimately pushed me away, however, was my experience with my assigned counselor, Sabria. She has been condescending, dismissive, and completely unhelpful. Anytime I asked questions, her responses were short, rude, and delivered with an attitude that made me feel like I was bothering her for simply trying to understand my own education plan. Her incompetence and lack of professionalism are the driving factors in my decision to leave this program. As a veteran, I worked hard to earn my benefits. I expected a university that respected that sacrifice and invested in my success--not one that exploits it. If you're a veteran thinking about enrolling here, I strongly suggest looking elsewhere.

When going into this school you have to take a basic math test, but you have to call in before you take the test and they only allow 4 students a day to take the test, 2 in the evening and 2 in the morning for the day. Then you have to write an essay and Mark encouraged me to write a sob story to encourage the higher ups to choose me to attend the school, which was strange. I got a text asking if I want to go to the school and after looking at A reading the school is a 2.4 star Yelp, and a lot of the reviews are really bad. I declined the offer via text and I thought that was done and that was a month ago. Today I got a call from Mark asking if I made a decision on which school I was going to which I felt odd and I already responded and declined attend attending Platt, I let him know that I wasn't interested due to the school having really low ratings and that I found the testing system of only 11 for students a day and inconvenience. Mark then started to rebuttal with me, I then try to get off the phone, but before I could say, thank you for the offer he hung up on me.
