BUT my friend, who was visiting from Houston, loves going to the movies so off to the movies for she and I. After shopping at the nearby Burlington and TJMaxx we saw, I Can Only Imagine 2...I loved it! I loved the entire experience! This theater has plenty of parking. The inside is very clean and it was really easy to check in and get a ticket. There were no people to assist with getting a ticket but my friend had no problem using the computers that are up front and inside the building. I much prefer human interaction but then again I'm 65 years old and remember a simpler time. The snacks were very good and I loved that we could refill our drinks and popcorn, we had no need to do so but it was a nice option. Our lone human employee behind the counter was professional and pleasant. The snack area was clean and all the drink machines functioned properly. The bathrooms were clean with plenty of room inside. The inside of the actual movie theater was very clean and the chairs were in excellent condition. The screen was large and the sound was just right. I thought it was very thoughtful that there was an option to purchase a little blanket to keep you warm. I did not purchase one but there was a display right by the concession area. Decent movie we saw but overall I really enjoyed the experience.

The guy that called us up was rude and did not want to do his job actuallynone of the kids looked like they wanted to be there nor help anyone! We wasn't asking for alot, we were not rude or anything to him at all. All we asked for when he mumbled what can I get you was a medium water (because I do not like Aquafina) and some sour patch kids they had in a cardboard display behind the counter that was smaller than the ones hanging out by the line where you wait to be called up to cash out. He look at me like I was stupid when I said sour patch kids. So I had to point at the display and say the sour patch kid right there behind you, and he rang up a Aquafina, I said no just a medium drink because I don't like Aquafina we will put water in it. I thought by my husband saying medium he would have understood the assignment but he didn't lol. I had to ask 3 times where the bathroom is to him and he didn't hear me. So my husband with a louder voice said where is the bathroom?. He finally answered ...... we watched Moana @ the 4:45 showing in theater room 10. We walked up the stairs and I went to use the railing and I was so sticky and when I went to put my heat on my seat even set on high wasn't working at seat E6 and I never had Flys bothering me while in a dark movie theater but last night 7/19 was a first .. Needless to say my first and maybe last experience here was not good at all

We say "The Incredibles 2" and "Avengers: Infinity War". I would like a larger screen, but this was not bad. I do like the audio coming thru your car radio. Obviously your audio quality will depend on your car audio system, but it worked just fine for us. The place is obviously very dated and has seen some better days, but there were a lot of families with kids and the crowd seemed to be very happy. Also the employees were very friendly and helpful. The bathrooms, while adequate, could stand to be a bit tidier. I mention it because the nights show is typically 4+ hours (double features, remember)so it is not at all unreasonable to think you may need to use the restrooms at some point. These places make their money on the concessions. We got some popcorn and it was fine. We did take some sandwiches and stuff of our own though in a cooler. Wish they had a better selection. All in all, it was a very positive experience. I would go back more often if I lived closer. (From royal oak, its almost a 2 hour drive...I was visiting some friends in Port Huron though, so that's how I wound up there.) If you want a fun night with the kids, this is a bit of nostalgia that is well worth trying out.

Sharper image than standard 35mm projectors. Cons: - Subpar IMAX, not worth the money. It's just a standard IMAX projector, not 70mm or laser projector. Theatre felt small. - Only 1Dolby Cinema theatre? AMC really needs at least 2 theatres, it greatly limits availability of showtimes for the format. - Stadium seating in all theatres but Dolby Cinema. Most competing cinemas have upgraded to recliners by now, I'd at least like to see recliners in their other premium format theatres.

Considering that it's the closest cinema to my place, I'll usually end up going here, but that's just convenience. The picture quality and the screen sizes here aren't as nice as the other options in Windsor, but it's nothing that won't stop me from catching a film. The place is nicely maintained and not all that old either. This is usually where I end up going to catch a film, but I wouldn't go out of my way to see a movie here if the other alternatives were closer.

Even for those travelling from Belle River - this is a great choice. The staff is always friendly and helpful, the ticket purchase stations are easy and quick, and you get exactly what you pay for- popcorn is delicious and never an issue with the movies being played. I attend this theatre very often so I would know. They don't take Scene card, but it goes on Groupon about twice a year - that's when to stock up! :)
