Tuesday June 2nd, 2021…read more So the pool has been open since Saturday and we definitely had to come. It's limited in capacity at 40% or 92 people. We had a short wait of 5 minutes before enough people left the pool for us to get in. A wait list is taken when the pool exceeds capacity and you just have to wait until people leave, which typically isn't very long, on a week day anyway. I have to say the water was very chilly. So we also didn't stay longer than 30 minutes. The kiddie pool was not open. It seemed like there was no deep section and you could walk from one end of this Olympic size pool to the other. Don't bother calling ahead. I doubt they'll take a reservation over the phone. When I was there, the teenage staff were not answering. I also saw that folks had left the water running in the showers. Not very considerate given water is a scarce commodity. I'd suggest also reeling in the excess swim lanes which were just sitting on the ground gathering leaves. The price: Free! So you can't beat it. We will be back next week when I hope it's a little warmer.

It is crazy as the weather in September is often some of the best of the year (as evidenced by the glorious temperate sunny days this week), but without a heater for the pool, the season is all too short, running from early May to early September only. There's a beautiful playground right in front of the entrance that looked well maintained. There are also covered tables so you can sit outside and eat or do any other table top activities. They have two large gyms with bleachers on one side. They also had two activity rooms that could be set up to be used for many things such a trainings, baby shower, etc. Each of the rooms has a sink and the bathrooms are right next door. Bathrooms were also well kept. If you live in the neighborhood or need to host an event, I would suggest looking into this location.

You'd think this sort of think no longer exist they way people complain about not having any resources for their kids around summer. The complex has an outdoor pool, and play ground, basketball court and hold all sort of line dance classes, empowerment classes and yes, aqua zumba lessons. They also have volleyball, guitar lessons, and open gym at the basketball court several times a week My class was cancelled due to rain. When I went to pay the $5 drop in fee for the class the receptionist was not aware the class had been cancelled, when no one showed up near the 11am start time, I went back to the desk and the receptionist said the instructor had called and verified the class cancelled in the ten minutes I was there waiting for the class to begin and refunded me the $5. I'm for sure going back since they offer different fitness classes and most of them have a drop in rate of $5-7, some of them even give a discount for seniors citizens. A wonderful business for the neighborhood and great activities for kids.

They provide the chairs and rectangle tables. You must pay in full in advance and you are either able to choose a Friday party from 5:30 - 8 or Saturday from 2:30 - 5 PM. We opted for Saturday because we figure that most people would be able to come. It is important that your guests arrive on time, because there is a designated swim time and party room time. Some of our guests were late and ended up not being able to swim. Overall, it was a great experience and we enjoyed. My son really enjoyed himself. The staff was friendly and hospitable. We also took advantage of the summer swimming lessons (including free swim week) and my son has really made great progress. I highly recommend it if you are in the area.
