It took two weeks for my product to arrive which they told me might happen and was fine with. I picked up the product on Monday March 3rd. My installer was not able to do the job until April 21st. The installer liked the product and it looks great! I called Lumber Liquidators to return 5 unopened boxes (it was recommended by their staff to get extra for the job ). I don't have a problem with the recommendation because it makes sense and is pretty standard in the industry. This is why they only get 2 stars. They would not allow the return because it was over 30 days. The salesperson said that it appears on the receipt. The first issue is why have such a stringent policy on a product that is so dependent on the contractor. Things happen and in my case the contractor had to get to an emergency job first. I looked on the receipt that I have but it doesn't say it. Maybe I am overlooking the fine print but at least they should have stated it to me. So if I knew which I didn't would I have to bring all 40 boxes back to return them in the 30 day window and repurchase. It doesn't make sense. If they carry the floor on a regular basis what harm does it do to take the return and resell. If nothing else then a store credit should be issued for non damaged boxes. No they never tried to help solve the issue just kept saying sorry and the salesperson agreed not a great policy.

There was a conflict with another contractor who needed to leave his trailer in our driveway (preparatory to starting a job on our property) but Shirley's trailer was there. Shirley was cooperative and flexible. She proposed pulling her trailer out a day earlier than she planned, and that the other contractor would drop his trailer off a day later than he planned. That worked out on both sides and everything went smoothly. Yes, Shirley is a plain-talking Yankee who speaks her mind. She's a real character. We took her occasional bluntness with a grain of salt and with some amusement. She did outstanding work for us at a reasonable price. We highly recommend her.

Monetary loss, very hard for senior citizens to ambulate, very labor intensive intensive, no time to hire someone to complete the manual labor. Two seniors had to complete. We have a new stoop. The newly redone work is good. I suggested we get a break for a rather enormous failure, but this has not been honored. I was quite excited initially, nice team, will never contract again.

For instance, if I wanted a back splash to match my countertop, I had to go to a different store, The moment I walked into Tile Craft, I knew I walked into the right place. Peter at Tile Craft asked if he could help me and for the first time, someone actually did. He helped me choose the countertops and showed me what backsplashes would work. I took samples home to be sure I was making the right decision. Once my decision was made, Richard the owner, contacted me and scheduled the installation and told me exactly what was going to happen during the 3 day installation. After inquiring on the phone this was one of the only places that demanded I come in before they could give me any type of cabinet layout or quote. Their limited store hours required me to take leave from work to come meet this guy in person. When I finally did, the gentleman working couldn't find the specs of my kitchen I had sent him. He offered no additional help, and told me he would email me a layout for my kitchen, and get back to me with a quote. It's been weeks and I still have not received a thing. Wickford Kitchen and Bath proved to be nothing but a huge waste of my time. It's without a doubt worth it to shop elsewhere. After finding the best places in RI for kitchen remodel, my recommendation for cabinets would be Broden Millworks in Middletown. They have quality cabinets, reasonable pricing, and most important very competent friendly staff working there. They give you a great deal on boos countertops as well. Don't waste your time with Wickford.

So, since our house needed to be painted, we decided to give the contract to them to paint the exterior of our 1927 home which has a lot of trim work, railings, finials, etc. Another great job completed on schedule and within budget. We even had them do a few extra fixes to long-standing problems other contractors either created or never fixed properly like a bathroom vent, etc. We've worked with lots of contractors for small jobs to entire "gut rehabs" and more important than price (though they are very competitive), Matt and his team are honest, attentive, and committed to ensuring your job is done properly and with integrity - not common among the contractors we've worked with over the years.
