We enjoyed our stay here. Nice seating areas by the fireplace. One night two guys with guitars…read moreplayed and sang. They were very good. Room was nice. Clean with everything you need. Cleaning staff did a good job. Parking is right out front which worked out well. Walking distance to the craziness on the main drag in Pigeon Forge. They have a nice gym on the first floor. Outdoor area to sit and talk. Didn't use the pool but it looked nice. We did not do the breakfast, but it looked good. Plenty of seating. I would recommend.

Got there around 10:00 and the room was ready. Great! Got to room and it was pretty small and filthy (table had crumbs/sticky, not vacuumed etc). Went back to the front desk and she offered to switch to same room for no charge or upgrade to a slightly bigger room for $20/night. We opted for that option since as a family of four, more space is worth the cost for us. We got to that room and again, not the cleanest and there was pubic hairs on the bathroom floor which basically sealed the deal mentally nothing good would happen. Because this was a timeshare offer we called them and finally after we left and had lunch they just put us in another room. They did refund the $60 and gave us three breakfast vouchers for each day but even this room was not clean to what "Hilton" standards should be even though the manager walked through the room personally. In the end, this made it very easy to say no to the timeshare presentation as their excuse was Hilton bought the property just a year ago so they aren't all up to standard yet. The lobby was beautiful, the pool area looked nice but my kids said the water was freezing. I would never pay for the $17 dollar breakfast as it's basically the same free stuff you get at every other hot continental breakfast. Basically, you couldn't pay me to stay here again.

Wowowowow, where do I start?!…read more Pigeon Forge is a mountainous Vegas-like touristy town. There are tons of hotels, some are great and others...not so much. Those great hotels are often going to cost a pretty penny while those more affordable ones are going to be a bit rough around the edges. So where can you stay in Pigeon Forge that isn't going to hurt the bank account while giving you a relaxing stay? Well look no further...Twin Mountain Inn & Suites is excellent AND affordable! I'm a Hotels member and when I saw Twin Mountain Inn and Suites' 5 star reviews, I was curious, especially because at the time, the rates were about $97/night AND pets are only $20/night. Not only that, the room had a river view with a balcony, fireplace, and free parking. Now, I've kept this hotel on the backburner on my account. Last time we visited Pigeon Forge, we stayed at Drury and spent so much more on a "Mountain View" that overlooked the parking structure. So, this time, I decided to go with my instinct and book with Twin Mountain. Boy, am I glad we did!! We stayed on the third floor. Don't let the cover of a book fool you. The parking is easy but can get full pretty quickly, true. However, the room was probably on of the cleanest hotel rooms we've ever stayed in. The beds were comfortable. The shower was hot and had good water pressure (albeit, no conditioner or body wash-just a small packaged bar of soap. There were two small bottles of shampoo). There's a microwave and mini fridge in the room. I also liked that there were two sinks, one in the bathroom and one just outside of it (vanity). This was convenient for two people. The AC/heater was powerful, too. The fireplace is timed and creates a cozy atmosphere. The balcony overlooking the river was peaceful and there were two plastic chairs and a little table out there to sit and enjoy the view of ducks and geese. Twin Mountain Inn and Suites is close to the strip but away from the flashing lights and noise. It's a great location! Breakfast is included and had biscuits and gravy, eggs, yogurt, sausage, fruit, cereal, and one waffle maker. There's fresh coffee and a juice machine, too. It was a tight squeeze as it was very busy for 7:30am so I decided to get one biscuit and gravy, two sausages, and a yogurt to take back to the room, which were all very good. There's a drink vending machine outside of the lobby and one near the parking lot. The elevator was convenient and they also had luggage trolleys, too. This was an outstanding stay for one night and I wish it had been longer. I highly highly HIGHLY recommend staying with Twin Mountain Inn & Suites for your next stay in Pigeon Forge.

The hotel is older but very well maintained and off the beaten path so we really loved that. The hotel desk staff was very friendly as well. The only issue was there seemed to be many smokers staying there while we were there and they liked to congregate around the front entrance. So every time you came in, you were blasted with cigarettes. Otherwise, the stay was very enjoyable!

If you want a room facing the river, you have to ask for that in your reservation (they have rooms facing the river, and other rooms facing the parking lot). We stayed in a river-facing room, and it was great. Staff were all very friendly and I will most definitely stay there again if the opportunity arises. There are ducks and geese, and we even say a crane in the water. Within walking distance of several restaurants and attractions, right on the main drag in Pigeon Forge.

It definitely delivers on the cozy atmosphere and river views -- and yes, there are plenty of geese to remind you you're by the water! Check-in was seamless, and the front desk staff were friendly and welcoming. They have a nice 24/7 drink bar with instant coffee and tea, plus another bar with juice and tea options during breakfast and again in the evenings (7-10). Small touches like that were a nice surprise. As for the room, it was a good size and overall comfortable. The beds were great, though I did notice housekeeping service declined a bit as the week went on. Towels varied in softness, and the complimentary toiletries were below average -- I'd recommend bringing your own. For a listed 3-star hotel, I'd rate it closer to 2.5 stars. The property is clean and cozy, but for the price point, it could use a few tune-ups. That said, I'd stay here again, especially if you're traveling with family or kids. The pool and hot tub area are nice, and the continental breakfast was fairly decent. Tip: If you're staying on the first floor near rooms 110-120, you might want to request a different area unless you're an early riser -- hallway noise can be noticeable from people coming and going in the morning.

Did i have a bad time and want to pack up and leave? No…read more Would i stay here again instead of trying somewhere else in the area? Also no. It was cheap and we had a shower and bed so it was what we asked/payed for. Pros: close to the foothills parkway and national park entrance. Excellent restaurants, brewery and coffee shop within a few miles. 30 mins to pigeon forge/touristy areas. Nice fireplace and stayed warm. Sheets and bedding were soft. Decent view of the mountains (better if you're in a cabin. We were in a room off the shared living space so when you look out the window you see what i assume is the owners home, and mountains on the other side. Pic attached.) Never ran out of hot water due to instant tankless water heater. Cons: It was clean but surface cleaned, not deep cleaned. Like the sheets and towels were clean and they wiped down high touch surfaces, but the fan couldn't be used because of the amount of dust on it, large cobwebs in every corner. I hate dusting so i get it but People also don't pay to sleep at my house, so... Water pressure was horrible, the rain shower head couldn't be used really because the head was clogged. Our room shared a "wall" with the common area (glass French doors with curtains separated us from the common area) and there were other guest in the common area at 10-11pm being loud, slamming oven doors, cabinet doors, etc. and again at 730am there was music being played in the kitchen and people slamming around pots/pans. It was hard to feel comfortable or like we truly had privacy with the set up of the room as it was. The wall facing the mountains was al window/glass doors. So, We always had to have all the curtains closed to have some sort of privacy which negates the nice view. You also can't cover the top windows so you're woken up at sunrise (if you aren't an early riser. I don't mind.) TLDR; There are places I've stayed in TN that i would 100% book again no question. This isn't one. It was okay for a few days and close to area attractions!

The views were…read morevery nice and all and all the rooms were very clean, sadly though there were some issues. The bathtub wouldn't work so we couldn't get any use of the jacuzzi tub. While the owner did fix it fairly promptly, the next problem was that the hot water wouldn't work. Now we were left with no hot water so we couldn't even shower. The next thing I want to touch on was the common space. This includes a sitting area and a kitchen where you can store your personal items. We had brought a cake with us for our anniversary, so upon reading the rules of the kitchen we were going to place it in the one fridge to keep it cold. Sadly, when the rules that are you can only use the bottom self people take advantage of that and do not think of other guests in the inn. There was zero room to store our very small cake, so we had to keep it in our room. The last thing I want to touch on are the walls and how the common space can can a problem. It was about 10-10:30 and we suddenly hear a group of people being kind of loud in the common space. The walls are thinner so it's hard to block out that noise. I wouldn't have minded if it were the middle of the day but it was past 10:00 pm, you would figure there would be some sort of quiet time. That was a bother to us who were just wanting to have some quiet settle down time. It was a reasonable time to want quiet. All in all this wasn't the worst place I have ever been, it just wasn't the amazing experience I was hoping for. At the very least I wished I had a tub that worked, place to put our one item in the fridge, someone who didn't take our plates, hot water, and some kind of quiet time in the common area. Maybe this place will be for some but sadly we didn't leave with the best impressions.
