I used him a few years ago and he set up for me an excellent desktop two monitor system. This worked well until last week when I ran a program which was supposed to update all my drivers. This really messed my system up. Also I got my daughter's laptop when she upgraded hers. This was not connecting to my printer or my network extender. Thus it was not useful at home as a second computer to use as a portable device. Jerry came over at the time of the appointment. He is highly professional and efficient. He fixed the problems with my slow internet connection, and some problems with my anti virus software. He got my network extender working again. He got the laptop reconfigured and now it rapidly accesses the internet and I can print from this to the printer in my study. In addition, he changed my antivirus programs to ones which are better and free. He cleaned up both systems so they are faster! Knowing how much time and frustration are involved in trying to fix some of these issues myself, I consider his services extremely valuable and his fees very reasonable. I highly recommend him without reservation!

That said, they are slow on follow-up and need to communicate better with customers. Other than that, I have no complaints whatsoever.

The colors were all washed out and dim. This was after we waited weeks for them the finish it. They kept telling us that the part was on order and wasn't in yet. My guess is that they may have used an aftermarket part, and not an original HP part to replace the screen and the driver. Very unhappy with the result. After they replaced it and turned it on, they could easily see that the screen behavior was sub-par, but they went ahead and gave it back to us. I would be very wary about using their services in the future.

I purchased the laptop from Best Buy and added insurance but my only option with them was to have Best Buy take my machine and ship it to their service center, to be returned to me in 6-8 weeks. Yeah um, as a consultant, that's hardly an option. Joe had me up and running within a few hours and even provided a loaner so I could in the meantime. Happy to support a local business and grateful the process was smooth. Hoping I don't need to return for anymore tech assistance but won't hesitate to do so. Note that Joe only accepts cash so you'll want to factor that in.
