Pizza Ranch - The soft serve ice cream

Pizza Ranch

They had a whole table for chicken wings and a type of soup. I didn't have any chicken but the person I was with had some and thought it was good. They also had 2 tables of pizzas and pizza stick things. Both were very good. They had normal pizza flavors and some unique ones. They also had a table of dessert pizzas. They had a cinnamon streusel pizza (very good!) and a cookie pizza which I didn't try because by the time I got there they were out. They also a soft serve machine with vanilla ice cream. Very good variety, even if you have one in your party who doesn't like pizza. Service: Since it is a buffet style restaurant, we didn't have an actual waiter, but someone did come around twice picking up our plates, which was really nice. Ambiance: Pretty good. I like that they have Western decor. I saw a lot of complaints about the game room, but since it's in its own separate area, I didn't even notice it. Someone in my party did go in and they saw someone win the cut to win game. But the actual sitting area has a nice chill environment and seating options for large groups. Over all: I hadn't been to a Pizza Ranch in a long time and very impressed with this one, and the buffet style and lots of seats make it perfect for large groups, even if one person doesn't like pizza.

I can only talk about the buffet dinner because that is what our large party all was limited to…read more No, just no it is really bad. I know people in the area love it and have very limited options, but if you're coming from anywhere that has probably cooked food this is just a no. I see reviews and heard people talking about the salad bar. It's like really bad bag salad, very ripe, fake crab calls, soggy pickled cucumbers, etc. I just can't. The hot food was really salty rehydrated fake mashed potatoes other high sodium overcooked things like mac & cheese people do like the fish. I just it was overdone and everything else was deep-fried. The shrimp might've been tiny by a shrimp, but it was all bread and everything was very bad.

They muddle the fruit which always makes it better. The special on Saturday is prime rib so I decided to give it a try. The char on it was super flavorful and it comes in the au jus. I added mushrooms and onions. The onions were a little over cooked but still good. The dinner comes with soup and salad bar and both were really good. The salad bar has quite a few items on it. My husband had the fried perch and said it was pretty good. The only complaint really was the dinner rolls which were hard as rocks. Overall I'd come back. I'd like to try some of the seafood options!
