City courses are in better shape than this course. Course wasn't well marked either, if at all. Several times the cart stopped us because areas were "cart path only" (not marked on the course) and we had to back out of areas. Other times we'd be on the cart path and the cart would stop and tell us to return to the path. We spent a good amount of time backing out of unmarked restricted areas. Employee and signage indicated that the beverage cart would be available to 5 pm. Saw her once at 2:30 pm and never again. Don't waste your time or money at this golf course. Sad that Arnold Palmer's name is affiliated with this catastrophe.

Links style penalty areas are tough hit out of and the greens are quite nuanced with some subtle ridges that make them a challenge to read. The one complaint I have is that the sand traps need to have more sand and a higher quality of sand. It is more like fine gravel than sand and they traps do not drain well after a rain.

The course is well maintained and the bonus for us was having a practice green with three holes - our granddaughter loved trying it out before we got to the first "official " one. At hole eight, she declared she had to go to the bathroom- uh oh - we had to walk to the clubhouse, a bit far but the restroom was clean. Luckily we were able to slip back in and finish our game.
