I have had my Botox injections here more than once as well as Laser Hair Removal. The estheticians…read morehas always been professional and courteous. They have years of experience and always have done a great job. Each one has always talked me through the process (no surprises) very gentle technique ( I hardly ever feel any pain other than, what is to be expected). The staff always engages with the clients, I have never seen any misconduct while there. I give them this rating because I am always satisfied with the results. 5 STARS

First of all, I would like to say that I have worked for a company where customer reviews were…read morereceived regularly and were a major evaluation of performance, so I understand the impact negative reviews can leave and I do not personally give them unless I feel they are sincerely warranted. A few months ago I had a procedure done at Allura that didn't go smoothly, to say the least. Due to machinery malfunction it took much longer than it should have and caused unbearable pain. My technician was very kind, however, and I didn't cause any sort of fuss (read: I have manners and have worked in customer service). A few hours after my appointment I received a call from the office manager apologizing for the ordeal and telling me that they would offer me $50 off of my next treatment appointment, making my total cost $100, whether that be in 12 weeks or 8 months (direct phrasing from the call). A couple months later I book an appointment for the same treatment, expecting the discount as I was told. This time the process went much smoother. I had a different technician who was also very kind and friendly like the first. There were a few minor hiccups but nothing major and the pain was minimal. When I went to checkout, however, I was told my total was $150. I referenced the discount I was told I would receive (which was written in my file and also mentioned to the manager by the technician) and the same office manager who told me that I would be getting the discount, told me that the price of $150 was already a promotional price that could not be discounted. So I paid the $150 because what choice did I have. Later I emailed the office for clarification and I was told again by the office manager about the promotional pricing and that she was sorry for the confusion. I don't think I was lied to or tricked (or at least I hope no one would do that), maybe when I was told the next treatment would be $100 she really thought it would be and later learned that it could not be discounted. However, it was a mistake on their part, not a misunderstanding on mine. They should have either honored the pricing that they gave me (again, as it was their mistake) or at the very least, owned up to it and told me prior to my session instead of after when I had no choice but to pay it. The extra money was annoying, of course, but the fact that they tried to almost weasel their way through their error was unacceptable to me. Had it not been for this situation, I would have gladly gone back to Allura (even despite the issues with my first appointment), but the way that this problem was handled really rubbed me the wrong way and I don't plan to return or recommend them.

DO NOT TRUST THIS PLACE…read more My experience here has been nothing short of devastating--physically, emotionally, and financially. After researching D'Cate Aesthetics & Medicine and reading multiple positive reviews, I scheduled my first consultation for Botox and lip injections. During the appointment, Erin--the provider--suggested I try a CoolPeel and mentioned a "limited-time deal" of three sessions for $1,500. Trusting her recommendation and the promised results, I paid upfront and booked my first session for two weeks later. Erin assured me that CoolPeel involved "minimal downtime" and only "about a week of mild, short-lived side effects." The reality? Despite following every single aftercare instruction--using Vaseline, sunscreen, avoiding NSAIDs--my skin looks worse than ever. After months of painful healing, the hyperpigmentation on my lower face left me looking like I had a beard. No joke--a full 5 o'clock shadow. When I emailed photos to D'Cate requesting a full refund for the CoolPeel, their response was astonishing. During a phone call, they praised my forehead, seriously, claiming the "top part of my face looked fantastic and better than ever," while completely ignoring the glaring hyperpigmentation that disfigured the lower half of my face. No acknowledgment. No accountability. Just gaslighting. Erin then emailed me after "consulting her attorney" that they would offer a $1,000 refund for the two unused CoolPeel sessions. Since that email? Radio silence. No follow-up. No resolution. Nothing. Not even a statement confirming the refund has been credited. Nothing! What I later learned--through my prescribing dermatologist--is that CoolPeel is strictly contraindicated for individuals with autoimmune disorders, psoriasis, and active melasma. Had I been properly informed of this critical fact, I would have NEVER agreed to the procedure. Instead, D'Cate and Erin completely failed in their duty to advise me of the serious risks associated with undergoing CoolPeel while on Cosentyx, despite these details being clearly documented on my initial paperwork and pre-treatment forms. They had a professional and legal obligation to disclose these risks and, at minimum, refer me to my prescribing physician for a joint consultation. That would have been the responsible course of action. Instead, they recommended the procedure, collected payment, and pushed forward--without any meaningful discussion of the dangers involved. My dermatologist had to prescribe a bleaching kit that isn't covered by insurance, costing me hundreds of dollars out of pocket--and I've been told I'll need at least 4-6 months of ongoing corrective treatment. And it doesn't stop there. After reviewing the other treatments I received at D'Cate, I now have serious concerns about the quality and safety of the toxin they injected into my face. I underwent three separate Daxxify treatments here--initially and twice more for touch-ups--because my forehead movement never fully froze. In stark contrast, a single treatment with the cheaper toxin, Botox, from my dermatologist delivered expected results, just as intended. This raises disturbing questions: Was the product faulty? A knockoff? Substandard? Or were the injections performed incorrectly--THREE separate times? I also have an upcoming appointment with a dermatologist to correct my upper lip, which is fuller on the left than on the right, thanks to their work. The difference is small, but noticeable and completely unacceptable. Bottom line: I'm sharing my experience so others aren't misled by the glowing reviews online and end up facing the same nightmare--or worse. This provider failed to exercise basic care and skill, misrepresented the safety of their services, and caused me foreseeable harm and financial loss. I've already spent hundreds correcting their mistakes and will continue to spend more. If you value your health, your appearance, and your money, stay far away from D'Cate Aesthetics & Medicine. Pictures can be seen on Google reviews.
