The surgeon will likely respond to this review by confronting me about why I gave him one star and claim that 'he did his best for me' etc. to try to put himself in the best possible light. Or, he may respond by providing an insincere apology and invitation to come in and 'talk.' (I've been there already). He knows exactly why he is getting one star. I cannot stress it enough, not rely on reviews (which may not even be for the procedures you are considering) and not to rely on 'credentials.' I seriously recommend that you take the time to consult with other providers before making any decisions. I wish I had done this. A few hours drive away to explore your options could save you a lot of unbelievable turmoil later. I am writing this review because I don't want anyone else to experience what I have and still am experiencing now as a result of choosing this provider. Dr. Harris has been the most helpful and professional doctor my family has ever seen. He has has made his self available any hour of the day as needed. When going to the office for a visit it is very clean they are very punctual always on time. I suppose when you call around and you find the ONLY doctor that charges less than $10/unit for Botox, you should wonder why. He does a "Spa Day" where he is able to provide excellent prices for botox by turning and burning patients en masse, making it financially feasible. I don't judge by an office's external look, but I was thrown a little when I walked in the lobby and it looked slightly shady. His waiting room is nice, and he had a little spread for his spa day patients - sandwiches, et al. Theoretically a nice touch, but kind of weird. The receptionist did not mention before my appointment that he is cash only, and when I overheard it, I asked...and had to leave, get back into my car and drive a mile or so away to get money out of the bank. More red flags. I came back and was a little put off by the exam room. It was a little dirty and disheveled. There was an accumulation of grime under the examination chair and the pedals were filthy. I was having second thoughts when I was greeted by the doctor. He told me how he does this service for no profit to bring in business. He said he does not usually sell it in less than 50 unit increments. I wanted to say that was more information than I needed, but instead I told him I had been getting botox to my forehead for the last few years and that 20 units had always sufficed. He looked at my skin and agreed that it should be enough. I am not a delicate flower by any means. I drag heavy things through the mud for fun. But he was REALLY rough. He jabbed at my forehead in a way that almost made me jump in the chair. Remember - I have been having this done 2-3x year for the last 5 years. I have never had this experience. No instructions, no ice pack, just sent me on my way to pay. But, again...the price was reasonable. Within 24 hours two fingertip sized bruises showed up on my forehead - another first. They faded and the botox was definitely working, so again...let it go. But after a week, I saw that there was an area near the scalp that had been clearly missed, and was glaringly prominent with the other lines gone. I called the office and was told I should come in. A week later, I came in and was seen right away. Same room. Same filth. I showed the doctor the area that had not been properly addressed and.. was told that I bought 20 units and if I wanted anything else I would have to pay for it. But not just a few extra units - which is insulting enough (considering he was supposed to have done the forehead completely with the 20 units that were, indeed, if properly administered sufficient) he said if I wanted it done before the next spa day I WOULD HAVE TO BUY 50 UNITS. $400 to have him fix his mistake. I explained to him that he had not done what was discussed and he replied "Do you expect me to just GIVE the botox to you?" No - I expect you to have done with what I purchased what we agreed to. He suggested that I come back on the next spa day and that he would work something out...I explained that I had it done when I did because it was for something special. That really did not seem to matter in the least. Which, at the end of the day, is fine. I should have listened to my instincts and ran the moment I saw the condition of his exam room. I am giving him 2 stars, because...if you really don't care - he does have great prices. I think I will just save up for a pricier facility and know that you really DO get what you pay for - and be grateful that I didn't get an infection being stabbed in such an unsterile environment. read more

I had Dr Harris treat a trigger finger that has been an issue for years. Started with shots hoping that would resolve the issue. Finally decided after a couple of treatments with shots to nip the tendon. Did it in the office. Dr Harris talked with me throughout the procedure so I knew exactly what was going on. Since I live in the NRV we communicated via text and cell. I would send him pictures as my hand healed. He is very accessible. Completely satisfied. Took three strokes of my golf game. He and Lacy--his receptionist/office manager--are top notch. read more

I had some suspicious moles so my primary care doctor referred me to Dr. Harris. While the procedure went fine, I am not happy with the payment procedure. I received the bill and called to give my health care savings debit number only to find out that they only take cash or credit. The whole reason to have a health care savings account is to save for medical expenditures. What is the point if they do not accept the card? I called the insurance company and they said they have never heard of a reputable doctor not accepting a card and that it sounded shady. Now I need to pay out of pocket and do a bunch of paperwork to recoup the expense. You would think the doctor would understand that he might get paid quicker if he accepted credit. I will not use this doctor again just due to the hassle. read more

I went in two years ago for a face-lift, my primary concern was were my cheeks and how my jaws sag. I hated them I told him I didn't like to look in the mirror and it made me look old. He stated it was no big deal and he would take care of me. He doesn't take credit cards, now I know why! I had to do a cash advance to pay for the surgery. I had the surgery, within months my skin started to sag again, and two years later you can not even tell I had a face-lift!!!!!!! I went to two other plastic surgeons, never mention I had one. They both said will I can tell you never had any work done before! I had to tell them I did. They couldn't believe it when I told them I actually did. I wish I had found them sooner, they both quoted a lower price with going under. I went back to Doctor Harris, telling him I was not satisfy, and I did go see other doctors and what the cost was. I was he would fix it, he would fix it but he ask me what I thought was right? I wanted to see what he said, and he quoted me another $2500.00 dollars. I almost wanted to punch him. I had already paid $6000.00 you want me to pay another $2500.00 to fix your mistakes.......!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! When the others plastic surgeons will only charge me $5000.00 plus that is the cost of going under!!!!!!!!!!! If it was on my credit card, I would try to dispute it, I would have disputed it a few months later after the surgery!!!!!! I feel ripped off, let down.... and all that money gone to waste.... I have to go through it all over it again once I have the money... The right thing to do was to either return my money, and offer to pay for the half of the other surgery to have the other surgeon do it correctly..... I never ever felt so taken advantage of!!!!!! DON"T GO STAY AWAY there are many other plastic surgeons that more qualify!!!!!!!!! read more
