Claudia was awesome. They were closed on Sunday but she opened for us to stay there. The park was clean and well maintained. The rates were very reasonable. The dog park was big and clean. At the last minute, I made a reservation for a one day stay to take the kids for a day of fun at Wild Adventures. Ms. Victoria was sooooo sweet and accommodating. She took her time to support me with answers to my questions over the phone, as a new rv camper. Upon arrival with anxious kids in tow, we arrived without the correct plug to get power. Mr. Pete provided immediate assistance with a power plug adapter. The bathing house was clean and nicely decorated. Most important, the water was nice and hot!! I felt right at home and relaxed. There were multiple hooks to hang my bags and towel. There was even a nice space for me to put on make up. I will definitely make this my destination spot anytime we come to Valdosta for a "Wild Adventure" with clean and welcoming accommodations. read more

We had a wonderful experience staying at the River Park RV Park. In slots C-14 and C-15, we had easy access to the bath house and the dog play park. Located close to the interstate, the site was very quiet and easy to find. We will be back! read more

Extremely bad faith! Called at noon to make an appointment to arrive in the evening around 9:30p; Arrive in time for this appointment. The result is a denial of service. We saw a lot of parking lots. Later told us there were no parking lots. We didn't have to get a parking spot. do not deserve to trust!! read more

Stayed one night on the way to Tarpon Springs. River Park was the perfect stopping point after a day of driving. Very clean, well maintained, and quiet. Check in after hours was easy and well organized! Showers were clean, updated and well maintained. Free wifi, TV and full hook-ups! read more

New Management! Very helpful and accommodating. Great park, clean with over 122 sites. There is a nice dog park, showers, and laundry facilities. Level and clean sites.Some with Trees, some with full sun. Rates dependent on whether you are short-term and just staying the night( they accept Good Sam discounts) or if you are interested in Long Term monthly rates. There are cable and WIFI and I was able to get tons of stations. There are a number of Travel Nurses here and long-term people. Although we are next to I-75, the place is quiet. Gas station right next door and across the street and we are surrounded by tons of restaurants and stores. 20 minutes to Florida border and not far from Wild Adventures. I definitely recommend this RV site. read more

An overnight layover at this park - we found it very nice. The spot assigned to us was in full sun and after a quick phone call we were moved to a more shady site. Ownership was very accommodating! The bathhouse is very clean and well kept. There is a dog park area and also a "party" store next to the park making it convenient to replenish beverages needed. Stopped to get rates and check out RV park We where just in our pick up truck with no camper so we did not appear to be just parking and camping As we stopped at a site to get a feel for the atmosphere and just to take a moment to take in the sights and sounds, we were approached by some woman in a golf cart that began yelling at us... We tried to explain that we wanted to just check the park and get rates... she continued yelling THIS IS Private Property GET OUT..... Asked if we could get rates and again began yelling My wife and I are in a brand new truck and don't look like vagrants or free loaders.... the Hospitality or lack there of resulted in us leaving and advising anyone that would want to stay there to look elsewhere. We also found that a hotel abuts next to the property as well as I-75 so we can imagine the noise level at night We have stopped at other parks and have not had this type of problem My suggestion is to find the other area Camp sites they appear cleaner, newer, and more hospitable Read Paul D's review from 6 months ago. We stayed at River Park for two days during Hurricane Dorian. What a really nice place. Very clean and very quiet. What we especially appreciated were that there as a lot of tree shade in most spaces. We had family members with us who stayed at the Super8 directly next door. The front desk folks were really accomodating- allowed me to pay for one night and "reserve" a second night in case we needed to stay- which we did. Seems like the location is convenient- lots of restaurants and shopping nearby. read more

Bad customer service , had a family Emergency , Mom had to have emergency heart surgery , she arrived at the hospital in Valdosta , after arriving she was told that she needed a different hospital for the care that she needed , i had made a 2 day reservation the day before , had to cancel because she was gonna be in another town for her heart surgery , when i called to cancel i was told i still had to pay for 1 night , will never visit this property and me and wife are avid campers ... read more

Although they keep the place neat and well kept, they are not kid friendly. This is of course fine, if it is posted on your website and people knew this going in so other arrangements can be made. We were constantly harassed by the manager here about our child not being "less than 10 feet away from us" although he was always within our sight. If we were playing frisbee or watching him and following him on his scooter, she always came and complained that we were too far from him. Once questioned, she insisted the rules were on the website- they aren't- nor are they communicated in writing in any of the paperwork you receive on arrival. Although there are written rules that are not being enforced, these unwritten rules are. They really make a point to make you feel unwelcome and I will never stay here again. Communication is key- and if you are catering to a certain type of clientele and excluding others- communicate that clearly so there is no surprises and unwanted animosity when people have the audacity to show up with a child. read more

First was our time at this park. Our site was level and on an asphalt pad. The park was clean and neat. It is under new management. We found the management to be very nice and helpful. This was a great stop on our way to south Florida and we would definitely recommend this RV park. read more

So we had reservations there but had two vehicle issues. We called knowing there was no way that we could get there this weekend. They offered to reschedule for us but we had no idea what was wrong or how long it would take to fix. Not even three hours later after speaking to a mechanic, we called back to see if we could reschedul. Nope, since we canceled without giving 5 days notice and could not reschedule when we initially called. So I hope they put that $80 to good use. read more

We'll run very clean park. Bathrooms and dog park are well maintained. Wifi is typical of most campgrounds. Convenient to I-75 and most everything in Valdosta. Great place to stop over on the way somewhere, or spend time at Wild Adventures. read more

Not much changed since our last visit. Well cared for, clean, mature trees, nice atmosphere. Tables still need painting, new concrete aprons. Spaces tight for large motor home. Would stay again if required to be in area. read more

Just what we were hoping for. This park is convenient, clean - lots of trees which is pretty. Wifi is typical for areas such as these so no surprise there - not their fault. laundry facilities were clean and neighbors were quiet which I appreciated. The manager helped me with my hook ins while my husband ran the dog which was much appreciated as I don't typically do that. I don't know what the old managers were like but there are none better then the new ones. They helped me from the moment I pulled onto the property till I was completely setup! And after setup, it was discovered that there was no electric to the site, the owner didn't hesitate at putting myself and my dog up for a night at a nearby motel. Who could asked for anything more? Clean park close to I75. Running roof air helps with traffic noise. Great place for overnight stop on way to FL. Would stop again.

I noticed a sign on door that stated "closed until 1:30pm", but the door opened and a classless grumpy old lady asks me what I wanted. I told her I to get a spot and she tells me it will cost $10 more because I am so early at 1230 in the afternoon. I was a little stunned, but agreed to the additional fee. She lets me in and immediately complains that I am interrupting her lunch. (Why she answered the door is anyone's guess- I never even knocked on it.) She continued to be extremely rude. I renewed my Goodsam card only days before and handn't received an updated card yet. The card I have shows expired, but she didn't care about the renewal and basically said " I don't care, if card says its expired, NO discount" When I then showed my Military ID, she states "only discount we do is Goodsam! " She was rude about everything through the entire check-in, to the point that now I almost regret paying for 4 nights. This was definitely not the level of customer service we are accustomed to in Good Sam campgrounds at all. And the trees and hotel that block the sounds of the highway, is a little exaggerated. read more
