I'm so grateful for the time they took to help my son learn. The director is amazing. I was going through a custody dispute and she made it her priority to work with the corporate office to ensure my son's safety, and that he would continue to have an uninterrupted learning environment. My child was enrolled from March 24, 2025 to September 5, 2025. During that five month time frame…read moremy child had 7 different teachers. At that turnover rate, my child had more teachers than classmates. There was one teacher who was there four out of the five month stint that my child and me absolutely loved! We were there solely because of her. When she resigned, I was truly heartbroken and knew that our experience there would not be the same in her absence. That very same day I put my child back on the waitlist at another facility. It was great Kiddie Kove welcomed and accepted all kids. From my observations they adhered to the teacher to student required ratio. An area of improvement is that if there is a special needs student in a classroom, then there should be an additional teacher in the classroom. I witnessed countless times where a teacher would spend significant time attempting to redirect a child, and another child would get hurt or briefly get into mischief. On 9/3/25 I witnessed this constraint and a child fell twice over a toy vacuum while the teacher was changing a diaper and verbally trying to redirect a special needs child with no success. Exactly 30mins after witnessing this, I received a call stating my child had fell and had a cut lip. The daycare center provides a clean environment. It is in a relatively newly built church that was not specifically designed for a daycare. Because of this, there are no preventative security controls to prevent random people from entering the building during pick up and drop off times. I had a very detailed conversation with the directors about this and was told 'that is a valid concern, but the Elders of the church won't agree to proposed solutions'. I do want to note that the director did suggest me unenrolling my child as a first option. The directors decided to have someone sit on the inside near the entry door; however in my opinion this still would not prevent unauthorized access into the building nor prevent them for accessing the classrooms. More than half of the time when someone was suppose to be sitting near the door, they weren't there or halfway down the hall on the phone or reading a book. Daily schedules included tv time, story time, art projects, music, limited outdoor/gym play, and basic introduction to numbers and letters. There was a $50 charge for Spanish learning which entailed a pre-recorded video being played of a teacher teaching Spanish. Personally, I didn't understand why it was charged separately; if a pre-recorded video was the approach to teach Spanish then I'm not understanding how it differs from other You-Tube videos that could be played teaching Spanish. It was also advertised on their website that extra-curricular activities included dance and martial arts, these activities did not occur during our enrollment period. There is no consistent framework of criteria communicated to parents regarding milestones a child must meet to advance to the next level up classroom. My experience was that my child was in the younger-ones classroom and I had to specifically request my child be moved to the older-ones class (my child was 19 months at the time). During our five months of enrollment, there were no conference or forums that allowed routine direct interactions between parents and directors. The directors did not appear to be there daily as I may have seen them once or twice a month. When I brought this to their attention towards the end of my enrollment period they asked what would I suggest. In response, I suggested that it would be nice if they were there during one of the 2hr pickup or drop-off window. Their response was 'That's not going to happen. I have other things to do.' Their uniforms are $24 per shirt. This is an insane markup when polo shirts are less than $5. My child was 19 months at the time, so the shirts weren't even the right size. My opinion is that the uniform requirement was simply a money-grab tactic based on the ridiculous mark-up and the fact that the official school year had already been in session a full month so why wasn't it communicated to all parents before the school year began. My overall review of Kiddie Kove is this daycare fits the capitalistic mold that many of the for-profit daycares in South Fulton where directors exploit the necessity of childcare and exploit the labor of teachers. Based on all the facts mentioned, I am convinced the directors do not run the daycare based on genuine love for children but primarily the financial gain. The high turnover rate I witnessed at this facility has much accountability that should be acknowledged at the director level. Kiddie Kove has one of the highest tuition rates in the area. I have experienced a non-profit daycare with a tuition rate that is 27% lower, have more than adequate preventative security, longer operation hours, teacher longevity, directors who are ACTIVELY involved with all students DAILY, and much more.

But then you quickly learn that all teachers are not created equal at this facility Miss Sheena was awesome because of the type of person she was. Spread into pre-K with Miss Mingo everything turned to trash. We were being lied to. She was sending aggressive messages in the portal then deleting them. But I screen shot everyone. They took something from my car and lied about it not knowing I had dash cams. The director basically told me I was lying until I told her I had dash cams and the entire turn changed. The building does not seem to be up to code. Over the winter their pipes broke for EIGHT WEEKs. According to other parents this was the third time they flooded AND THE CONTINUED TO COLLECT from the state CAPS and from self pay parents FOR EIGHT WEEKS. They weren't even paying their staff. I walked in one day to a teacher crying. I consoled her, she told me they threatened to fire her if she went to her scheduled OB appointments and couldn't take anymore time off. Well that federal law and illegal. One day they put my daughter in my car balling her eyes out. I asked her what had happened "ms. Mingo wouldn't let me go potty" she was soaking in urine and they put her in my car. Mingo lied to us and her employers. They would constantly defend her but again they continue to forget I have dash cams and filmed the entire circumstance. During our parent teacher conference, I also had to film because she would spew out several lies or act like I never asked questions that I had several questions for when addressed to Chelsea or Jalisha they would stick up for the teacher, even though I had proof. This always put them in a tizzy but always rejected to see the proof. Aftercare is a complete joke. It's basically a young teenager with a cell phone sitting in a corner playing on their phones. Kids had their collar bones broken in aftercare. They mixed them with the older kids, including Older kids from other schools Who were playing entirely too rough to have a four-year-old in the room. They claimed they're always filming, but they will never show you the proof. Jalisha And Chelsea purposely would not put cameras into their office, so whatever they told you in there, they could lie about later. Every kid is just a dollar amount they don't care how they get their money they don't care how they'll take care of your child as long as you're paid up. And they especially don't care about their employees. The only thing my daughter gained from pre-K was PTSD

When I first walked into the infant classroom, a teacher was playing music that was completely inappropriate for babies. Then, in the 3-4-year-old room, I noticed teachers being downright impolite to the children. I understand using a firm voice when needed, but they were speaking to these kids as if they were adults, without any consideration for age-appropriate communication. It was uncomfortable to watch. What shocked me most was how phones were out during nap time instead of staff helping children settle down and rest. The director seemed to play favorites and turned a blind eye to the chaos. I've never seen such carelessness or fake behavior in a childcare setting. One moment that truly disturbed me was when a little boy mentioned "just like Squid Games" during an activity, and Ms. James shouted at him in anger. The child didn't say anything wrong--he was just making an observation. Then there was a teacher who said, out loud, that a child "might have a yeast infection" because she was itchy. That's incredibly inappropriate and unprofessional. To make things worse, I was left alone in classrooms with children I had never met before, without any proper schedule or introduction. That's not only unsafe, but it's also unfair to both the kids and the staff. I introduced myself the best I could, but no one supported me or helped ease the transition. Some of the staff might be decent, but from what I observed, they weren't welcoming or helpful. It felt like the bare minimum was being done. I also noticed they were preparing food without gloves, using children's restrooms (which I later found out is illegal), and those same bathroom doors don't lock--so any child could walk in while an adult is using the restroom. To use a proper bathroom, staff would have to walk across to another building, which could leave classrooms over ratio. On top of that, no one answers the door when you knock. There were just too many violations in one day for me to stay quiet. I'm genuinely tempted to report them to the state. Those kids looked scared to be there, and no child should ever feel that way in a place that's supposed to care for and educate them. Parents, please be careful. Don't be fooled by a fake smile. Some of these places are unsafe, and they'll gaslight you if you speak up. Stay aware and protect your kids. It could never be me
