Last May, after having booked months before from our permanent home in the Caribbean, and having reconfirmed the day before once arrived in Paris, I go to the train station to pick my parents, for what we hope will be an extraordinary day in Paris on the Seine river, and we go to River Limousine dock.....
The dock is empty (Batobus Champs Elysees). The little kisok confirms it is the right place for River Limousine. Still nothing.
So I call the manager or owner, Joseph,,who quietly says he could not arrive with his boat inside Paris that morning.
No phone call the night before, or even early that morning! I was shocked after such a long trip (7000 kms) to meet my parents and celebrate a Legion d'Honneur.
On the phone, Joseph says he will offer me a free cruise the following day, but we have to leave Paris the same evening, then he says he will reimburs me our planned lunch in front of the river (Musee d'Orsay).
After 7 months of patience, endless emails, and reasons (bookeeper on holiday, then bank transfer, then sending check) still nothing.
In conclusion, a very bad souvenir from a company that seems not serious at all. read more
