Some of the worst boats ever. Make sure to not rent boats from here. We had two boats and both props were spinning and one of our engines started messing up. Very cheaply made and terrible boats. read more

Absolutely love this motel. We come to Steinhatchee once a year and normally stay at a different place. But after staying here, this will be our go to motel. This place is very well cleaned, staff is absolutely amazing and so helpful. I find the rooms (we stayed in two different rooms) very spacious. There's a pool for the guests and a fire pit lounge area too. Definitely recommend giving this place a try. read more

This place is awesome if you like peace and quit, the staff are very friendly and make you feel that your welcome here, the Motel is kinda small but very clean , we also rented a boat from them it was a Carolina skiff with a 90 HP Honda motor on it, it ran very good no issues, and does 35 mph ( side note) this is a small town and not much to do except fish fish fish, the river ,if you fish the bottom you will get snagged on oysters, rocks etc , the best fishing is out in deadmans bay aka Golf of mexico , we will definitely be coming back to River Haven marina on our next trip to Steinhatchee Fla read more

This is a smaller full service marina located up river from the bridge and the mouth of the gulf in Steinhatchee, FL. They have a lift for launching vessels into the Steinhatchee River. The launch fee is $1/foot that includes in and out. They are willing to credit 50% of the launch fee if only in or out is used by patrons. There are few to none dock hands and fuel is self serve. As it is scallop season they did have a few shuckers located there that could be hired to clean your scallops. Fee unknown. (expect to pay $7.00 - $8.50 a gallon) Some places in town will freeze them for an additional $5.00. Two huge parrots in giant outdoor cages greet everyone as you enter the marina's shop with everything one would expect from bait to T's. There is a woman that launches the vessels. They have clean restrooms and a shower room. They vend ice by the bag. This marina also has some overnight accommodations that go from a motel style room to large houses. Fees vary by amenities and size. read more

The folks at RHM&M were very helpful and informative. The 19ft skiff we took out was a little old but it got the job done. We spent a great day out on the water catching scallops. I would recommend going about a quarter mile south when you get out of the river. read more

I don't even know where to begin. This is our 4th and final year renting a boat from this place. We showed up to the marina at 6:45 to get the pontoon boat that we reserved months ago. We showed up to find out it was a deck boat and were not notified of it. That was no big deal but would've been nice to know that. we continued on our day on the deck boat and not even 2 hours into our trip the boat sounds the overheat alarm and a bunch of white smoke starts coming out. We tried reaching out to the marina via radio on the boat but apparently, it was not working or someone wasn't there to answer. After calling them they told us to let it cool off and to continue our day. We let it cool off for 30 minutes and retried with no luck. It over heated again. So finally they bring us another boat after waiting on the water for a little over an hour. When the gentlemen showed up we complimented the pontoon boat on how nice the carpet was and he then notified us that he put the carpet down and said that " this boat is a piece of shit." THOSE WERE EXACT WORDS.. Very unprofessional. well after we got the pontoon boat we came to find out his words were true. The boat wouldn't get on plane and was cavitating very badly. It took us two hours to get back to the marina when it took us 30mins to get to where we were. when we got back to the marina we were told the reason the boat wasn't performing well was because of the following sea. lol the following sea. We went and talk to a lady that claimed she was the manager and was very rude and indirectly called us liars, saying that the deck boat was fine. The gentlemen that dropped the boat off to us denied his words, "this boat is a piece of shit." said that we were all out there cutting up and joking with them and that's why he said that. The marina did refund us 100 dollars for the boat rental however we paid close to 300 for the boat and a lot more to rent a house and fuel to come out for the weekend. We were notified by another gentlemen that worked there that he has been warning the company for years that the boats cant handle the max number of people that they advertised for and that they need to reevaluate the numbers. So this place knows that these boats aren't performing well but yet they still rent them out. I don't recommend this marina. The new owners rob and barbara lewis have a lot of improvements to do to this place before we come back and rent. I talked to rob over the phone and he seemed not to care and even went as far to make excuses saying he didnt know what conditions we were in and that he test the boat himself when it came back. well one person verse 8 isn't test the boat to the same standards. IF your looking for a good place to rent a boat SEA HAG and steinhatchee river club have some nicer and newer looking boats. might wanna spend the extra money because this place will leave you stranded or with a boat that doesn't perform like it should. read more
