If I could leave 0 stars I would. I bought a car online from this dealership, was told it was in perfect road worthy condition. I had the car delivered to me a month ago, and it still has not moved from my driveway. They sold me a car that has 4 dry rotted tires, over 10 years old each, no working reverse lights, a major electrical issue that the power seats and climate control don't work. The new battery I had installed does not hold a charge. The alternator winds too high and is not seated correctly, the fuse box gets upwards of 220 degrees. I won't run it because I am afraid of a fire starting. The list goes on and on. I had the car towed to a specialist (more $ out of my pocket) to check it out. They raised all the same concerns I had and said it is not safe in its current condition and will need upwards of $5k, probably more to fix all the issues. They even took my sales tax money, saying they had a third party registering my car. Well, the car is not safe for the roads, so it can't be registered, but they have my sales tax money still. It would never pass inspection. I was looking for a weekend driver to take to car shows and I got a total lemon! This dealership refuses to do anything, stating "I have buyers remorse!!!!!!" Are you kidding me? I was looking for this style car for over three years. I wasn't looking for a car that needs tons of work or I would not have bought it. Now I am forced to get a NY Attorney, get the NY Attorney General as well as the NY DMV involved. I did hire a third party to check out the car. He apparently doesn't know a lot about these sports cars, because he seemed to just look at cosmetics, not electrical or reverse lights or dry rotted tires (I could go on). I will be looking at this company next. Yes, the car looks nice, but OMG, what a mechanical, electrical mess!! A lot of my wasted time on this. I just wanted my money back, but now since it looks like this dealership doesn't care, I will be looking for a lot more than just that. Yes, I have learned my lesson. Due to this awful experience, I will never make a large purchase like this online again. Stay away from this dealership. It seems they don't care too much about the online customer. I bought a 2017 Lincoln MKC on July 1st and within a couple weeks of driving just from home to work and back my brakes were squeaking, I called them and brought it in for the brakes to be repaired which involved me having to pay for an uber and use personal time at work to be able to do so and when I picked it up, the brakes were still squeaking and the check engine light was on. The mechanic told me "you must've taken that thing for a ride" so I don't think the mechanics they have are very knowledgeable either since I had it for less than 30 days and was already having issues and he thought that my taking the vehicle for a ride would cause the brakes to squeak. I called them back to bring it in again and the mechanic said he would have to talk to his brake supplier but I decided not to waste my time since their idea of a repair seems to be taking whatever shortcut they can find and telling the customer the issue was caused by the vehicle being driven. With so many options out there to purchase a vehicle, I wouldn't waste your time or money buying one here. read more

Absolutely awful business. Very helpful selling the cars but won't help you in anyway after that. Bought a car with a messed up driver door and they fixed it at first but when it started to act up again they claimed they had no way of fixing it or even seemed to want to help. Never have people there when they're supposed to be, someone is either always out at the dentist or out with covid. Just excuses from this place if you ever need any kind of help. One of the worst used car buying experiences I've had. I purchased a 2015 Cadillac CTS. Traded in a 2014 GMC sierra SLT. Upon arriving home after the purchase I noticed that the sunshade for the sunroof was missing. I immediately called back the dealer to inform them of this and ask them if it was going to be under warranty. they immediately said it would not be covered under warranty. I figured it wasn't that big of a deal wasn't worth arguing over I would fix it myself. Hoping that that was going to be the only issue I had. Well, that was not the only issue that I had. I also discovered that the touchscreen for the in dash navigation system and other features was not working properly. Again called back the dealer ask them if this would be a warranty item. They immediately said absolutely not. It is not a warranty item. We will not be covering it. So far I have had the car less than two weeks and have already racked up over $3000 in repairs. Now I do not understand how a vehicle with missing parts and does not function correctly would not be covered under warranty. In my opinion riverfront auto sales is a shady untrustworthy dealership that does not care about after sales service. Once the sale is finished and they made as much money off the customers, they could they could care less. They will not go out of their way to help you in anyway shape or form. I have a classic car that I was going to try and deal with them on, but I definitely will not be using them ever again based on the service I have Just received. Where do I start..... I found an X3 that I wanted, I test drove it with a young woman who couldn't tell me a single thing about BMW let alone the price, the history of the car- or anything. Ok, not a huge deal. Without any salesmanship, I decided I wanted to buy the car or at least, see what kind of in house financing numbers we could muster up. Very quickly, she brought me some numbers written on the back of their internal office paperwork that were about 25 percent down and huge monthly payments. No info on the APR and no explanation.....I really felt that I had nobody to negotiate with or work out better terms with, so my fiance and I decided to walk out. The next day, I called and talked to a guy that seemed competent and he apologized for the bizarre experience and told me that he would personally look at our information and get back to me no later than 1pm the next day. Next day came and went, no phone call. A few days went by and I kept thinking about that X3 and so I called.....The gentleman told me that he does not work with people like 'you' who have had repossession and bankruptcies. I told him calmly that he must have us confused with somebody else...Between the two of us we have great credit, make over 200k a year and have very little debt. He wouldn't listen to me, started raising his voice and told me that he was specifically instructed to NOT call us back. Dumbfounded at this, I said I would be looking elsewhere. I don't know about you, but I have a rule. If somebody wants to give me money, I don't argue, I go ahead and take it lol. These jokers not only lost a really great, qualified and capable customer, but being a business owner, I send people in the right direction all day long and nobody will every be advised to buy from Riverfront. It's one thing to be lazy, negligent and unorganized, but it's another to insult my fiance's and my character with comments like, "we don't work with people like you." I purchased a 2009 Subaru Outback with 79k miles. Thinking that I would drive this to well over 200k given the Subaru brand reputation, I eagerly signed up for the bumper to bumper extended warranty that would "cover everything" for the life of the vehicle right? WRONG? Within a year I began having exhaust issues- no worries- I have a warranty. But WHOOPS Warranty doesn't cover exhaust work- $1200 out of pocket. A year later- driveshaft goes- warranty to the rescue??!!! NOPE- the warranty company took two days to visit the dealership where I was having it serviced and then forced them to wait another two days for some aftermarket bs driveshaft to be shipped in to save them $200 on the part, then refused to even cover my rental car because of their fine print. $900 out of pocket. Flash forward to this past December- Head Gasket! THE MOTHER OF ALL ENGINE FAILURE ISSUES! Certainly my "cover everything" warranty with "optional seals and gaskets" coverage would take care of this for me???? WRONG AGAIN! They will only cover gasket replacement if it is caused by the failure of an internal engine component. THE GASKET IS AN ENGINE COMPONENT!!!! $3000 more out of pocket. When I contacted Riverfront to see what they could do with this "warranty" aka. bill of goods, that they sold me they didn't seem too surprised that they were nickel and dime-ing me and offered to help by calling their warranty reps and see what could be worked out. Two days- no call back. I called again and they thanked me and said they would call me back in 5-10 minutes. That was three weeks ago and I haven't heard a thing. I will be doing what I have to do to unload the lemon they sold me and will be LIGHTING UP the bogus warranty company who covers nothing on every social media outlet I can find as well. DO NOT BUY THESE BS EXTENDED WARRANTIES AND DO NOT EXPECT POST SALE CUSTOMER SERVICE FROM RIVERFRONT. THEY WILL TAKE YOUR MONEY AND RUN FOR THE HILLS! read more

Been looking for a classic Corvette for 18 months. Found a 1990 at Riverfront. Made an appointment to see it and was greeted by Jimmy. He took me to the vehicle as I went through the entire car. Being a 30 year old classic vehicle (from stock pictures looked great) didn't know what to expect. The car was (in my opinion) as good as the photos. As a previous owner of Corvettes this was a beauty. One issue I found with it immediately Jimmy took care of (fuel pump). Jimmy offer to give me the previous owners information if I wanted to contact him about the car. Looking over the Carfax Report he gave me I found the not necessary but that was a very nice gesture. Being a classic car I had it flat bedded to my home, later that same day I drove it to my insurance agent for photos (first time I drove it). Car ran great and the fuel pump made all the difference when starting it. Being a cash customer was able to work a deal to my liking and Jimmy accepted it. There was NEVER any pressure in the purchase, he let me do all the talking. I like when the salesman can make the deal and not have to go to the pope of pricing. Jimmy is probably the nicest and most honest salesman I have ever met. I will go to Riverfront Auto Sales in the future (and see Jimmy) for any Classic or used cars I need. PLEASE DONT BUY ANY VEHICLES FROM HERE. I'm 20 years old and I had bought my first vehicle here on my own and so far it has been nothing but a disaster. About 3 months ago I had purchased a 2014 Dodge Ram ecodiesel from here because I was looking for a newer truck and I heard good things about this place on the radio. After purchasing this vehicle it has been nothing but an issue, the first week I brought it home it was leaking oil and had to be towed back to be fixed. Not that long after, the check engine light went on so I had to bring it back again for Marty jr. to only reset the code and tell me the problem was "fixed". A day later it goes on again only for them to reset it yet again. I had to go back there 4 separate times for them to lie about fixing my truck and ordering parts for it to get the problem fixed. He gave me a rental car with a cracked windshield and to me an unsafe car. Finally I had my truck looked at by a professional dealership to find out that my truck needed a lot of work. I had told Marty jr. and he offered to fix only one of the major problems because he knew I caught him lying to me about it. They say there understanding but he knew everything wrong with the truck and yet still sold it to a 20 year old kid. From my understanding River Front Auto Sales gets good reviews by bribing you with free oil changes and inspections if you leave a good review, which is the only reason they have alright reviews. My thoughts on Riverfront Auto went from a 5 to a zero back to a high 4. Why? Today I received my dream vehicle back from the shop after 11 days. I actually purchased my vehicle on March 1,2014 and 2 1/2 weeks later it was in the shop for the second time. It appeared I was not getting any answers from the office manager nor the owners son. I had to rent a car for a week and the bank still wanted its money. Yes, I was upset. Yes, I filed a complaint. Yes, I said things to the office manager and owner son that was not nice. Yes, I would apologize later. Why? Because the office manager was only able to do so much and his son was reacting to my behavior. How did things workout? Good! The owner gave me a loaner and they continue to update me on the repairs. The cost of the repairs from a massive oil leak ($1000) and the owner paid for this job because I had the vehicle less than 30 days. So would I refer people, yes. Just remember the salesman, office manager, and even an owner child can only do so much. The final decision comes down to the owner of the dealership. So go down to Riverfront sales and ask for Sarge or Dane and tell them that Aaron referred you because I am in my dream car. BMW X5 fully loaded. I bought a used 2005 Dodge Ram 1500 4 door extended cab Truck from River Front Auto in December 2014 with just over 82,000 miles . I paid their asking price of $12,999.00. The sales man worked hard to get me the deal. Please believe me I am very great full for that . The problem I have with River Front Auto is before I bought the truck. I asked them to fix the bed on the truck ,it had rot holes on both sides and install better tires. The tire that was on the truck where bald. The salesman told me the bed was fixed. Their fix was to install fender flares, hiding the rot spots. I hadn't noticed this until I had to remove one of the flares on 27th of February 2015 for a dent removal. This is just a start of the problems. My main complaint less then a day after purchase the truck, I noticed rear window latch was missing and the window slid backwards , also the engine belt was squeaking very loudly, the engine threw a engine light code. The transmission mount was shot and found loose wires dangling under the cab. Now this was in the first week I Immediately contacted River Front Auto to let them know. The sales dept told me to call their service dept and set up a appointment. The service department scheduled a appointment and told me the repairs needed where not going to be covered and that I bought a used truck what did I expect. I called the sales dept and their answer was the same I asked what about the NYS lemon law and their thirty day dealer warranty. The general manager told me not to threaten him that this would get me nowhere. The manager told to bring the truck in and we would discuss my issue This happened in the first thirty days of sale. I figured after his poor attitude on the phone I would take care of the problems myself than take a chance of poor service on a forced job. What finally made me write this complaint Was the truck just hit 85,000 miles time for a oil change while changing the oil I found on the truck a very heavy dirty mopar filter and the oil to be as thick as dark molasses. I know they didn't change the oil now because the salesmen told me the use exclusive Napa top quality parts only. Unless unavailable they would go to the dealer for parts. I was told when I bought the truck every little thing was done and they spent over $2000 to get the truck road worthy. MAKING THE TRUCK READY FOR USE. By the salesman and that their trucks and cars where professionally serviced. Just please Buyer beware They don't do as claimed and get it in writing from River Front Auto. read more

My wife and I stopped here on the way to a dealer to put money down on a used fiat(to be used as a second car /towing behind an rv) She had seen an ad on autotrader from Riverfront for a fiat ,though a yr older with 15000 less miles. I had been here before an a salesman there tried pulling "the one key trick and said there would be a 100 to 150 dollar charge on top of the negotiated price for some Cadillac I was interested in I left there thinking of them as shysters . So, I wasn't to keen on buying from them. However, This time,we had a salesman named Shaun who was very personable and helpful ! My wife liked the car, they were attentive to all the items needed to be fixed or replaced. Everything was done! We picked up the car Tuesday the 28th .I am usually NOT a fan of car salesman and I'm old enough to have been around the block a few times. Shaun has been only 1 of 3 that seemed pretty good!
