My wife and I moved to a two-bedroom at River Tides close to 6 years ago having lived in Scarsdale…read morein a six-bedroom home for 47 years. We loved our home and the Scarsdale community, but have never looked back following our move to River Tides. So, what is it about River Tides we like so much? The on-site management staff has been responsive when ever we have needed their help. The 24 hour concierge staff is professional and friendly. Gerson, the super is just that, he is "SUPER." He also oversees an excellent maintenance team as well as a wonderful cleaning team. One special feature of the building is an "events" coordinator who arranges and/or oversees 6-8 monthly activities including scheduling food trucks visits to River Tides, complimentary drinks and hors d'oeuvres at local restaurants, and occasional on-site wine tasting events. As for the building itself, when you are in the apartment, you cannot hear any of your neighbors. The walls and ceiling keeps your apartment nice and quiet. The amenities are plentiful including the outdoor lifeguard swimming pool, 4 outdoor grills, fire pit, indoor sauna, hot tub, and on-site spa where you can book a massage. There is also a large fitness center for adults of all ages as well as a outdoor playground for pre-schoolers. In the grill area River Tides has even planted a variety of herbs that are free for the taking if you need one or two of them when making dinner. There are three levels of indoor parking as well as a storage area that can hold all the extra "stuff" you should not have brought with you when you made your move. There are two large lounge areas where you can entertainment visitors or relax in with neighbors, as well as a small playroom for toddlers and young kids. The building has also provided an internal communication system to reach both building staff as well as neighbors. But, perhaps two unique features that makes River Tides truly special is the inspiring view it has of the Hudson River and Palisades as well as its access to the Metro North train station one block away. Together with its close proximity to the city, River Tides has been a perfect luxury rental property for my wife and me. John B.

She stayed with us for hours and we didn't feel pressured at all. We cant wait to move in December. If you're in the market, give Christine a call and you wont regret it. The river views and sunset pretty much sold us!

One of the worst places I've ever lived, and not because of the grounds. The property looks…read morebeautiful, but don't judge a book by its cover. There are endless rules that make everything difficult, especially renovating your apartment. The super regularly gossips about residents to other shareholders, which feels extremely unprofessional and disrespectful. On top of that, the noise from both highways surrounding the building -- plus cars and motorcycles racing late into the night -- makes it hard to get any real sleep. There are also very long cockroaches in the basement that make their way upstairs, and plenty of other issues. Out of everything, the worst part is still the people: many seem to spend their time looking out the window, ready to make their next complaint. Please remember this is Yonkers (under the Bronxville PO). I would seriously look elsewhere unless you want to deal with this kind of environment. Don't be fooled by how nice the grounds look. Stay away from this place.

We were renting a place about a mile away, and never seemed to notice this beautiful co-op that…read moresits a block away from downtown Bronxville. We've lived at Brooklands for almost three years, and as we walk up the driveway from wherever in town we just were, we still talk about how lucky we are to live here. It's a 7ish minute walk to the MetroNorth train station and a 3-10 minute walk to some of Bronxville's greatest restaurants, shops, and cafes. Notable favorites are Rosie's, Dumpling + Noodle, Wild Ginger, Slave to the Grind, Coals, Park 143, Blue Moon, Brother's Grocery...ok, it's a long list. So yes, being minutes from all great things is heavenly, but Brooklands, itself, is heavenly as well. The grounds and buildings are well kept, the super and supporting staff are competent and warm, and the apartments themselves are incredibly charming, inside and out. Neighbors are friendly and inviting, and the co-op board works hard to keep Brooklands the kind of place you'll never want to leave. I seem to be writing the clichéd "rave review," but I can't help it. I love it here.

I've spent thousands of dollars living here over the past two years, and unfortunately, the…read moreexperience has gone downhill--especially over the last six months due to the concierge service. The current concierge team is unprofessional and lacks basic customer service. They no longer go out of their way to assist residents, even though that's a core part of their role. I'm a low-maintenance tenant, yet even simple requests feel like a burden to them. In particular, Tim, one of the concierges, is rude and selective about who he helps. Whether or not you receive assistance seems to depend on his mood, which is unacceptable in a building where residents are paying a premium. There are also ongoing issues with the Amazon locker system. Packages often don't come with access codes, forcing residents to rely on the concierge to retrieve them. However, staff frequently refuse or respond with attitude when asked for help. Meanwhile, residents are charged $5 per day for uncollected packages--even when the delay is caused by staff being unavailable. That's completely unfair. I've had no issues regarding my actual unit. The maintenance team is phenomenal! Very attentive and fast with their service. Overall, the new concierge team has made what used to be a positive living experience frustrating and disappointing. For the amount residents are paying, a higher level of professionalism and consistency should be expected. We miss stravros & Travis! Ever since they left, customer service is inconsistent!

The maintenance staff is excellent and will shovel out your car from the snow in winter. The buildings are always clean and there is a part-time Doorman. Night time has an on site security truck who drives around the complex and it is very safe here. Electronic key fobs only available to owners, so random people have no access. My unit here has increased in value by 50% within the 11 years I've been here. Excellent heat, hot water included with maintenance. Grocery store on property and great Dentist with great online reviews. Building parking garage currently under renovation and almost finished. Laundry room. Well, let me answer some of his incorrect information. One yes we do have the fire department and police that come to our buildings. Most of the times (This can be verified), its due to we have a lot of seniors that live in both buildings; usually they are called for them. As for people jumping out of terraces, that was one incident where the person (who does not even live here, she was visiting her Mother) was high and did jump out the terrace. (She lived to tell her story). As for calling out the Manager Carlos, everyone has different issues with each Manager that comes and wants to change things around. I have never had an issue with any of the managers or workers at Westchester Towers. These people are hard working, our buildings are always clean and the grounds are very well kept. I recommend you check it out for yourselves. Westchester Towers is a safe and good place to live.

The management emailed back after every request was completed and said that they have a better offer from someone else and wanted more money out of me. The apartment building is well run across the board and the facilities are of decent quality. Staff are always helpful and friendly. Apartments themselves are well designed and outfitted. The building runs at peak times a dedicated commuter shuttle to nearby Tuckahoe rail station in the Metro North from which an express train can have you at Grand Central Station in 25 mins. Probably the only negative is that legal ownership of the parking area is separate from the apartments - consequence is that problems are not easily solved. Also the lack of a residents association could be a long term challenge. Issues for the future include whether the common amenities lock originally planned for will ever be built or whether a second tower (four were originally planned) will be constructed. The building of a sky diving training center next door is a potential eye-sore, though construction is incomplete.
