Every animal I've adopted here (3 now) has either had wringworm, fleas, or both…read more I was charged with a $50 fee that is non refundable and now they're trying to offer me a $20 credit for an animal infested with fleas. Why on Earth would I want to adopt another animal from this facility given the gross negligence? What respectable animal shelter doesn't confirm/test for these kinds of issues prior to putting an animal up for adoption? I'd also like to add that the front desk staff (the welcome desk, not the folks in the back - they are very friendly) are incredibly rude. Consistently every time I've come in here, the social skills and public service has been horrific. I will no longer be adopting pets from this facility. They set the animals up for failure.

Today we had our first experience at this PetSmart and it was nothing short of horrendous. As a fish owner for 15+ years of both fresh water & tropical fish I am disgusted in this company for their lack of care when hiring and training employees. I experienced a snotty girl (Abby) who couldn't have been over 17 years old, refuse to sell me goldfish because she didn't like that I was "buying a couple of THEIR cheap plastic fish bowls" demanding sternly "that's not how you care for fish"! Mind you she knew nothing about me, our "fish" situation and didn't bother to ask ANY questions. It didn't matter that I explained to her I had 25+ gallon tanks at home waiting and I knew very well how to care for them. Not to mention an equally as ill trained manager that can't make eye contact or most shameful; corporate headquarters that promised a phone call three times over in the last 6 months but doesn't follow through. This company is SHAMEFUL. No clue how this company is in business. Can't imagine they will be much longer at this rate. DO BETTER PETSMART!!!
