It seems to have filled the void for this purpose left when the Palms Coffee House shut down. The ambience is about what you'd expect: welcoming, informal, not fancy but more thought into the decoration certainly than at Palms. And they're open late! This is also Levantine tradition--it's a coffeehouse not a coffeeshop. It doesn't close at 3pm like ones in the States do but actually business really picks up around 11pm. Esrom caught wind of the situation and immediately went out of his way, came outside, and told us he would personally store my scooter so my girlfriend and I could come in and enjoy drinks. That level of care is rare. He didn't have to do that -- but he chose to. On top of that, once we were seated, he brought us games to play and made sure we were having a great time. It's extremely uncommon to see someone who genuinely cares about their job and the customer experience to this extent.
