The teachers are professional and nice, and the studio itself just has a really great, friendly atmosphere. The prices really aren't bad either, and you get a discount if you take more than one class per session. What's also great is that if you're hesitant about the committment, you can pay per class. That way, if you can't or don't want to attend every class, you can just pay for the ones you go to (which is no more than $20.)

I danced through high school and college, and tried returning elsewhere shortly after, but nothing really stuck. Since being at ADF I have improved as a dancer more in a year than I feel I have throughout my whole career. Gail even helped me get back into pointe shoes after a ten year hiatus! The recital outfits aren't skimpy and the music they use is truly lovely without being inappropriate for kids like other studios have. I wish there was a better waiting room for parents but if that's my biggest critique then this is an awesome studio. Our prior studio in Delmar and one I have seen in Scotia do not teach good technique and the kids get bad feet, back problems and injuries. Call Guin, she is an angel. :)
