They are all super friendly, body positive, and open to all kinds of folk who walk through the door. I have taken classes with people of all ages, sizes, and strength/ability. The instructors take extra care to make sure everyone gets the attention they need to master the right moves and they all owe it to Terri for training them. Some of the instructors are professional dancers while for others it's a hobby, but they are all talented and lovely people. I've improved so much and after trying other studios in the area, this is my ultimate favorite.

The teachers are professional and nice, and the studio itself just has a really great, friendly atmosphere. The prices really aren't bad either, and you get a discount if you take more than one class per session. What's also great is that if you're hesitant about the committment, you can pay per class. That way, if you can't or don't want to attend every class, you can just pay for the ones you go to (which is no more than $20.)

Gail, and the rest of the teachers at ADF, are second to none! The classes are challenging but also great for all levels. I danced through high school and college, and tried returning elsewhere shortly after, but nothing really stuck. She pushes us within our own minds, bodies, and abilities, understanding that at 40 we're not likely to develop perfect turnout and 180-degree extension, but we can still strive for perfect technique within whatever turnout and extension we have. Her combinations are both challenging and fun to dance--in my 35+ years of ballet classes, her combinations have provided some of the most enjoyable choreography I've danced. It is a true joy to work with her.
