Our experience with Trufinity on a recent Poly-B removal can be summed up by four 'D's: Deceive,…read moreDelay, Deny, Dismiss. **Deceive:** We were quoted 3.5 days for the removal and install. When the crew arrived, Manager Sam Veach proudly stated we were in great hands and that the crew "had done hundreds of poly-b installs." However, the two technicians assigned to our project later admitted they were relatively new to Poly-B removal and had only done a "couple dozen" projects in their careers. **Delay:** Likely due to the lack of experience, the project stretched from 3.5 days to 6 days. When we called Sam on the morning of day 4 to ask when it would finish, he expected it to wrap that day, with a potential partial 5th day for finishing touches. Instead, by the end of day 5, water remained shut off to much of our house overnight, 12 tasks remained uncompleted, and a crew member informed us that due to scheduling issues, only one person was scheduled for day 6. Worried this would stretch into a 7th day, we called Sam again to express our deep concern. **Deny:** Sam first told us we were wrong about the single crew member scheduled for day 6, giving no context for why his employees believed that. He then claimed it was completely unrealistic to expect the job to be done in 3.5 days--despite Trufinity quoting us that exact timeframe during their initial site visit and scheduling. Sam insisted homes like ours easily take well over 4 days and that 6 days was not unusual. I called three other major plumbing companies who quoted this exact job; all stated 2-3 days is average for Kelowna homes of our complexity, with one saying they'd "never seen a Poly-B job take 6 days" and another saying 6 days is only appropriate for a mansion. Days later, another Trufinity manager admitted the project had gone well beyond normal length for this scale, directly contradicting Mr. Veach. Credit where it's due: after our call to complain, the second technician remained assigned, and a third, highly experienced tech arrived on day 6. The team of three finished all remaining tasks by 3:00 PM that afternoon. **Dismiss:** Throughout our conversations, our concerns were largely brushed off as "a part of the process." For a company claiming to provide "expert service with honesty and transparency," our experience was the opposite. We felt gaslit by Mr. Veach regarding the constantly shifting timeline and felt treated like just another number. Trufinity management did listen to our concerns multiple times and attempted to make it right by offering a discount on services. While we went back and forth on fair compensation, we appreciate the gesture. However, the compensation offered does not make up for a long, drawn-out, misleading, and dismissive process that caused immense stress. As such, we caution anyone considering Trufinity's services.

In my case ACE tossed in an undersized furnace and ran. The installer told me ACE never did a load calculation (manual J) on my home because my ductwork couldn't support the extra airflow required by the correctly sized high-efficiency furnace. ACE just matched the CFM of my old furnace with the closest Carrier high-efficiency furnace regardless of the BTU size so my ductwork wouldn't be an issue. Sneaky! ACE never properly installed the furnace because it will quickly overheat and shut down if I try using anything but the cheapest, lowest-grade filter. Now I'm stuck with an undersized furnace that's less efficient than my 47 year old working furnace was. Worst of all, ACE doesn't care! Horrible customer support! The owner told the court the installation along with the commissioning sheet passed inspection, so the furnace was correctly sized. He also told the court the salesman no longer works for the company, so he has no idea how the furnace was sized. All lies! He even said it was my fault for accepting the quote. Now that's a company you can count on! If it's not in the quote you sign, don't hire them! Zero stars!

He was able to set it so we could used only the heat pump while the lart was on order. When he returned several weeks later to replace the part, he discovered much more damage, and informed us that there was a class action suit against Carrier (the brand of our unit), and in order to have Carrier replace it, we had to get a Carrier authorized dealer to do the work. We called Ace, and while explaining the situation, the receptionist argued with us about there being a class action suit regarding this piece of equipment. Since we had looked it up already and found it to be true, we knew she was wrong. She finally gave us the phone number to call Carrier directly, which we did, and they confirmed what we already knew. We should have called elsewhere right then, but we called Ace back, and proceeded to argue a little longer with the receptionist. After being transferred back and forth between the manager and the receptionist 3 more times, and her attitude not improving, we hung up and called elsewhere. Save yourself a scathing by the receptionist from hell... go somewhere else. Anywhere else I would think, and you will be much better served.

I had specifically asked for a hot water tank to replace the one that had leaked with a 10 year tank, at no time did the plumber advise me that what he was putting in was a 6 year talk, it wasn't until I asked him where the warranty information was and after he had installed it and had left our home did we realize that he had put in a 6 year tank. I feel taken advantage of and feel lied to, not that they lied to me when asked but the plumber did not once offer that he was installing a 6 year tank rather than the 10 year one that I had requested. When I called to report this to Weiners I was given the run around and eventually offered that they would come and install an Anoid piece that would extend the warranty on the hot water tank for another 4 years, but I would have to pay for the Anoid piece along with the labour to install it..they offered a reduced labour charge in an email which they have since recalled and Im not able to see it anymore. I feel as though they are sheisters, trying to take advantage of my situation and are not willing to make this right.Run away from any dealing with Weiners, they misrepresent themselves and are not willing to offer me any remedy, other than telling me not to worry as my hot water tank most likely will last more than 6 years..Im shocked at the level of service or should I say lack thereof.I believe that they have overcharged me in the first place and took advantage of the fact that I was without hot water. They also installed a monitor on the hotwater tank that blinks all the time and they did not ask me if I wanted it or not, now we have a hot water tank that flashes light constantly. I cannot stress enough to steer clear of any dealings with Weiners for any work, especially with hot water tanks.
