I like this Rite Aide in Kuser Road. The pharmacy staff and the staff by the counter are friendly and efficient.

Covid booster shot clinic review only…read more This pharmacy held a clinic right across the street from the business in a community center. It was open to seniors from Mercer county but near the end younger folks were included. When I found out about it I offered to take my uncle here. He jumped(figuratively) at the chance. We arrived around 3:00 and found only about 5 people ahead of us. A pharmacist and an assistant were the only staff here, but the assistant was amazing. This young lady did all of the paperwork and made sure info and cards were accurate. This was no easy feat as each person there were operating at senior speed(no offense) and missing certain documents. She helped the process flow and you eventually made your way to the pharmacist who was administering the shots. Regardless of your first vaccine, you were able to select any of the 3 approved vaxs for a boost. This in itself was time consuming for a few of the recipients, but the pharmacist patiently explained the options to each. He also prescribed plenty of fluids to begin immediately to cut down any side affects. Both of these workers seemed to really care about what they were doing! I don't have a need for prescription drugs, but I'm sure going to try to find a reason to bring some business to this pharmacy.

I'm NEVER going back to CVS or any other pharmacy. Olden Pharm is my go-to for everything now. No lines! The staff are nice and knowledgeable. The head pharmacist is a really nice guy who will go out of his way to get you the meds you need and will work with your doctor and insurance in a timely manner. He knows his stuff and will answer any questions you have. They carefully check your meds, even putting little notes and reminders on your prescription bags in case they need to counsel you on some meds before they hand it over to you. That extra care just really ranks them high in my book. Reliable, timely, and overall GREAT "good neighbor pharmacy!"

This is the 1st time in about a year or so since I have been on this site, I was surprised that…read morethey only have a 2 1/2 star rating. First I would like to say that Neil and Bette are the owners then you have pharmacy technicians like Debbie, Vicki, Jody ,( pharmacist) who are also very helpful when you call in. Since my last post on this site there has been a couple of Customers Servive people have been replaced. I have been with this Pharmacy for 20 plus years, so I have seen alot of Customers Service people replace, new pharmacist brought in, and for the most part it has been better with the customer service people with the exception of 1 or 2 of them who just have an attuide, like they are being bothered by you calling, of course I let Neil know about it, unfortunately I did not know the girls names . However, there are a couple of girls who have been with the pharmacy for a year or so that are great and do as much as they can to assist you. As for the pharmacist, as I stated Neil and Bette, Debbie, Vickki, Jody always take your questions and help you & great at their job which is extremely difficult since they also have to deal with people who think they are always right, and want medication that is way too early to fill due law's in this state and others states too and then if that person doctors makes a mistake, that person should contact their doctors and get it fixed, and at times the pharmacist may do it for you. Then at times the pharmacist has to deal with various insurance companies which is always a pain in the ass! Customers should remember that, since there are some medication need prior approval which is more phone calls for them or for to contact your doctor themselves to get it done. About a year ago, I was very disappointed that I had reccomend several new customers to the pharmacy, and when I asked these people why where they upset with pharmacy, and I was told by them, that the people answering phones where rude, and refused to put a pharmacist on the phone when they had specific questions and the side effects,in addition to see if the pharmacy carried a certain brand of medication or a certain genetic medication since they where allergic to various types of medications and if it would interact with the 1-0 presently on they customer service people that answered the phone refused to put a pharmacist on phone that they were all too busy and wouldn't even take their name and a phone number. I really felt bad about this and let the owners know about it. I believe those girls are now gone. Since the covid-19 epidemic, I have seen an improvement in the customer service, and the pharmacist are return phone calls to those people who could not speak with them when they called. The wait time for prescription have been filled quicker then 2 years ago. Also due to this electronic script sending by doctors, is a good and a bad thing at the same time. The patient doesnt get to check what the doctor wrote out on a script, this is all do to the stupid people who think it's a good idea to try changing the paper script so now most things are sent by computer, and mistakes get made then that patient gets mad and reaching doctors at times is hard, because they have patients. Or in my personal experience the doctors office staff doesn't get the message to the doctor until too late in the day or the next day, which is not fair to either the patient or the drug store. As I previously stated I have been going there over 20 yrs, and still reccomend customer to them. There has been alot of improvements made at the store. This is why I have stayed with them.

4/23/24 I was placed…read moreon Rosuvastatin back in February. My doctor ordered a 90 day supply with 3 refills. Not thinking, I called and said how come I didn't get a notification that my refill was ready. The nasty Pharmacist Manager Benita Kuthiaia said that I wasn't due until next month. I said I only have 2 pills left and I need this medicine. I said then you guys made a mistake in filling this bottle. She said it wasn't them, the medicine came from the manufacturer and it was on them. She went as far as saying it was my fault and that I must have taking extra doses. I said are crazy. Why would I take more than I am prescribed, especially when it's for Cholesterol. I told her that I never take medicine, but my doctor begged me because I needed it. I never put any drugs into my system. She said I don't know what to tell you, take it up with the manufacturer. For her to accuse me was unacceptable because I don't take any drugs. I had to go thru hoops just to get this straightened out and finally my insurance company was kind enough to call in another 30 day supply to get me back on track. Even he said why would you take more than your supposed to with this kind of medicine. I said exactly. He went ahead and called the pharmacy for me and told her to refill it for me. I went to pick it up and I wanted a better understanding and there were a couple of customers in head of me and one behind me. When it was my turn, I told her who I was and started talking and she said step a side and I'll take care of you after I take care of the next customer. I said I am a customer and it's my turn in line. I stepped aside and waited for her to clear the line. I said what are you doing, I was here before them and you said you'll take care of me next, but you continued to make me wait. Needless to say, I finally was able to get my refills and she said nastily to call Glenmark. They are the ones who manufactured the medicine. I ask to speak to someone hire up than here, but she said she was the head manager for the pharmacy department. I will be switching my pharmacy!!!!!! ChinaMarie7165@gmail.com

I'm grateful that I don't have to take prescription drugs. Because my experience picking up a…read morerelatives medication here has been sub par to say the least. My first few times through the drive through were ok. The staff inside seemed quick and helpful. But there was a glitch on one prescription that took way too many trips back to correct. It started when I went to pick up 2 but was told only one was available. We tried calling it back in and when I went back for it we were told it would cost about $90( it's usually free through the patient's insurance) After a few calls to insurance and her Dr we found out that the bottle from the last refill was said to contain 180 pills and should have lasted another 35 days or so. That's why the insurance wouldn't cover it. I couldn't figure out how that many pills could be missing, this was heart medicine so no way of abusing it. I had about 4 days left in the pill organizer so I looked at a pill, fairly large almost Advil sized. Then looked at this smallest size of vial and it dawned on me, there's no way that many pills could have fit. We didn't look at the original bottle when we received it( it was likely picked up by another family member anyway) but probably should have. We got insurance to ok another script and when I went ti pick it up I was charged $15, I'm not going to complain about that cost. But guess what, this container was the largest size vial. I told the tech and he advised me to bring back the original empty vial. I took medication back to patient and refilled pill box and noticed the new pills were similar but different. Same size and color but larger and with a number 41 on them instead of 40. This same day I drove back to the pharmacy with the empty bottle and not the one I had just picked up. Well, I was told I needed both. It would wait until the next day, a Saturday and when I got to drive through with both bottles in hand a large poster was covering the window stating that there was no pickups or prescriptions filled on the weekends due to no pharmacist being on duty. I had heard of the shortages on the news but didn't realize it was that bad. So on Monday I went, but the pharmacist had just went on her lunch break, so again, no pharmacy business could be conducted. The next day I got there an hour before the lunch break and provided my two vials for comparison and correction. A few minutes later the tech brought back the small empty and larger vial, with several pills missing it seemed. He said it was fixed. I was like wait, what? He called pharmacist over to explain. Well, this newest prescription was misfilled. We were given pills that were twice the prescribed dose. The right pill was smaller that's why the bottle seemed a little more empty. But what about the missing pills from first vial? The P said there was possibly a second bottle given to make up the difference, but that would have had to be marked on the vial and in their records, it was not. The P finally asked me what I thought she should do to make it right. I said give us the month of pills we didn't get the first time. She agreed. Had she not agreed this would be a one star review. Here's what I learned from dealing with this location. Count the pills in every vial you get here, and match it to the pills you still have to make sure you are given the right script. Also possibly avoid any pharmacy that does not have weekend hours. It's amazing to me that a large chain like this can run a pharmacy only 40 ish hours per week. And in a fairly densely populated neighborhood.
