Just when you need an Rx refilled...their phone system doesn't answer. Typically this happens here 3-4 times a year. The pharmacy might wonder why no one ever calls in refills for the entire day or two. It's because their phone system isn't answering ANY calls. Probably an easy fix...just reboot the thing. But I guess it's too much to ask. Try buying a more reliable computer that will answer the phone!!! So it's down the entire day...and none of them notice? read more

I came here for two things specifically and they didn't have it. The store also smells nasty too...the workers there seems like they hate their job and they can care less about customer service. I've probably visited over 100 locations for Rite Aid throughout the state of California and can say without hesitation that this is by far the worst. There is clearly ZERO management and/or capable/knowledgeable staff at this store, which is easily demonstrated by the fact that despite having 2-3 cashiers open (out of an available 6 registers) there is always one long line that stretches into one of the aisles. EVERY time I have been in here, there is at least one, or more people complaining about how ridiculous this system is. Although they put up and mark "Sale" items in the store, they don't input them into their database because, which causes further delay and frustration for customers. Today I ran in to attempt to buy a simple soft drink. It was listed with a yellow tag in front of the tray as "On Sale" $1.69. I checked the item name, price and SKU before picking one up and getting into the long line, stretched into the Halloween costume aisle. The wait was elongated by two of the cashiers that were confused about which register the new cashier was going to take over WHILE both were still slowly servicing other customers. By the time I got to the register, my drink was half warm and the cashier told me that the total was $2.24. I explained it was on sale, but instead of having someone check the price the cashier was convinced that I had to be a Rite Aid member in order to get the sale price. Despite my gut instinct (since I've bought many drinks at Rite Aid over the years) I filled out a new card application, wasting another few minutes. After he fumbled with the new card, he input the number and stood there confused saying: "huh, the price still says $2.24. I don't really know what to do here." Instead of wasting more time, I decided it wasn't worth it since the drink was warm by now and I'd wasted enough time with these people. The line behind me had also doubled in length. I'm extremely perplexed by this location because it seems to be corporate-owned and yet I wonder if anyone from corporate has ever bothered to actually look over and check-in at this store. One thing is for certain, the employee training (or complete lack thereof) seriously needs immediate improvement. read more

I don't know what's wrong with this place I called in like 1 hr and 30 minutes to prepare my dr perception and when I arrived after that long time I find out that they are not ready yet . When I questioned them about how long do I have to wait again the say couple minutes with an attitude. The guy who is wearing a Lakers mask has a bad attitude . The Asian pharmisist has a bad attitude as well . I don't know how they are train but they should be little polite for people !! read more

Poor service. Went in to add money to PayPal accout using Barcode sent to phone. 3 employees none of them knew had to do it. 2 of the 3 were argumentative saying that's not how it was done. I asked why don't you call another store and get the information. One lady told me someone came in last week and wanting the same thing... This is the most busiest pharmacy in the district. I waited in a long line for about 40 mins and when my refill wasn't ready the woman at the register had me wait there while she filled my prescription and gave it to me so I didn't have to wait in line again. Proof that God loves me! This isn't a review on the establishment itself, it's solely on the fact that this is close to home and they offer rite-aid-I'd-die-without-you ice cream. As I walk close to the entrance, the Heaven gates open. Veer left to uncover Heavenly goods. My preferred (not favorite, because I don't discriminate) ice cream varies. Feeling chocolatey? Indulge in chocolate malted crunch. A bit fruity? Try rainbow. Not a chocolatey mood? Pecan praline. They're ALL good, trust. Indecisive? or just a plain fattie like me? Then get two or three scoops. Rite Aid Pharmacy staff are courteous while letting you know that are busy. There's always almost a line at the pharmacy at this Rite Aid. I've been travelling in Africa, and have received numerous electronic updates that my prescription is ready for pick-up from Rite Aid. I emailed Rite Aid customer service to let them know that I was unable to pick up the medication until later this month; however, I was told I would need to call the pharmacy to inform them directly. I emailed that I cannot call, because I don't have cell phone service abroad. It seems strange to me that Rite Aid can email me multiple times to alert me that a prescription is ready for pick up, but I am unable to communicate with the pharmacy that I am out of the country via email. I received another "final notice " via email that I must pick up my prescription. However, I cannot to do so by the date specified, because I will be in Africa. I am grateful that this Rite Aid store has an app that you can use; however, I wish that staff still called when a prescription is ready, in addition to email. If I receive the phone call before I left the USA, this situation may have been improved. read more

Great service from all the employee. I been a regular on this store for years. I especially enjoy the service of the Filipino cashier she always have a smile and a friendly attitude. Wow this pharmacy has the absolute worst customer service I have ever experienced. The wait is always horrendous even when there is only one person ahead of you in line. I called the other day to check on my prescription and the woman literally hung up on me while I was still talking. They let prescriptions expire without making an attempt to contact the physician or to let me know. They are always awful and I've been going here for years (too long). The only reason I keep going back is the convenient location. If something else opens close to me I'm out. read more

This is a review for the pharmacy. I came to pick up some prescriptions for my mother that were sent in and the workers DID NOT check the fax machine. So when I went to pick up the order one of the medications was missing. They said there was no order so I drove home. My brother called her doctor and they said they had faxed the order. I drove back as my mom needed that medication that evening and I still had to wait for about an hour. Who is working here? Stevie Wonder? This pharmacy sucks and is SLOW. My brother had a bad experience with my Dad's medication where they made him wait for about an hour and then said they only had 3 pills available. This upset my Dad and stressed him out. It may have lead to his untimely passing as it raised his blood pressure. We lost my Dad on 12/21/13. I WILL NEVER COME BACK TO THIS PHARMACY! They don't communicate and are slower than a snail on ice and don't seem to care! If I could give them zero stars I would. This pharmacy really doesn't care about their customers! read more

Came here after looking for a drugstore open 24 hours. It's great that they're open 24 hours, but it would have been better if they had what I needed. My one year old daughter was congested and couldn't sleep and had been crying through the night. She needed a baby saline spray or saline drops. This location hardly had any baby medicine, especially for someone under 2 years of age. I had to drive 15 minutes to a Walgreens just to find something that would help my daughter. I suggest they add more inventory for babies. read more

This is the absolute worse pharmacy I have ever been to. The workers are rude and their heads are in the clouds. I had serious spinal surgery that resulted in having to take a pain killer. Every time I went in to fill my prescription they never had the drug and had to order it. It never came in on time as promised and a couple of times I had to wait a week to get it. I love that this location is open 24hrs, it's very convenient because I'd rather go at night when there is no wait to check out. The line is ALWAYS long even with 2 cashiers working. I came to get some ice cream even though it's "cold" outside I was still craving their Mint n' Chip lol. The pharmacy needs to focus more on communication, organization, and getting medication out on time. I waited 3 hours just to pick up my daughters medication. When I got here in the beginning they told me to wait 20 minutes which eventually turned into 3 hours. This is unacceptable I think they should hire more people to help out. First of all, the picture center is a joke. They never have anything ready in the required time and no one ever seems to know what is going on. Both times that I called to check status on my pictures I was on hold for over 15 minutes and they still couldn't find them. I had to go in and print them myself. Secondly, none of the employees seems to now anything about the store. I asked one time where the chips were and you would have thought I asked them the hardest question in the world. I WILL NOT be going back ever again and neither should you. Go somewhere where they actually treat you like a PAYING customer and not some jerk off the streets. Really not much to say... Rude employees that don't really even speak to you. They just notice your existence as they ring you up. The lines here are always long but I can appreciate the buy 1 get 1 ice cream sales that are so frequent. Definitely need some new hires in here to help during heavy traffic hours. This pharmacy is the slowest I have ever come across. Two hours after the doctor called in the prescription, and after waiting 25 minutes in the pick up line, we were told our prescription still wasn't going to ready for another 10 minutes! How long does it really take to count 30 pills? Once we were called back up to the counter, we were told they could not fill one of our prescriptions as they did not have it in stock. WE were told it would be ready for pick up at the Rite Aid in Lemon Grove. Luckily, my wife called before we drove over, because they said they did not have that medicine in stock either! We eventually had to drive all the way over to another Rite Aid on El Cajon Boulevard to pick up the medicine. If value your time, you'd be wise to choose a different pharmacy! read more
