Went in today to ask for a refill A lady walked in behind me Saw the pharmacy gates closed The lady asked "is it closed" cashier did not know when it was gonna reopen Shopped around waiting for the gates to open back up sat in the waiting area Turns out they were open just had the gates closed one small window open When i wet to the counter to ask about my rx refill the lady was helping me but could not hear her clearly because the gate was at about neck height to me She snapped at me that "thats what i just said" Its understandable they are struggling with being in stock with things as the company is recovering from bankruptcy but the service should be much better Not certain who is supposed to be in charge of that aspect but hiding behind closed gates is NOT the way to do business read more

This is regarding the pharmacy and only the pharmacy...look I understand you probably get tired of seeing hundreds of ppl a day and get tired of putting hundreds of prescriptions together a day but there's no need for attitude...I came to pick up a prescription for my son which is supposed to have a automatic refill for it...when I got to the counter and gave info the lady behind the counter rolled her eyes at me and said there's nothing in the computer saying a prescription is ready and asked if it got called in...I told her it was supposed to be a autofill...she said nothing on file and asked what it was...I told her and she said I can have it ready in 30 minutes and I said ok expecting her to tell me have a seat or we'll call you to the window when it's ready but she said nothing, stared at me and said you can go now...like what the heck...you didn't tell me next steps that's all I was waiting for...just rude. Sadly my son's insurance doesn't allow him to get prescriptions sent to CVS because if it did that's where he would go instead of here. He's told me in the past that he's come in for his refill and it's NEVER ready EVER. read more

This review if for the pharmacy only. I am the POA for a stroke patient who was getting discharged from a post acute rehab facility into long- term care. The rehab facility tried to call the pharmacy to order numerous, expensive meds, including a vital prescription. My friend only had one dose left of the vital med. The rehab nurse called the pharmacy in my presence, but no one answered, so a message was left. I was later talking to my friend's insurance carrier rep, who tried to call TWICE, and had to leave a voicemail. I called a couple of hours later, and had to leave a voicemail. Multiple messages left, and not a single call back. I finally walked in at 7:00 pm to see whether the prescriptions had been received, only to discover that no one had bothered to return any calls. I was told that we probably called "when we were really busy." Excuse me? Four or five calls over several hours? They then told me that they would be calling the rehab nurse back, but she had already left for the day! By this time it was 7:30pm! I told them that if they can't be trusted to answer phones or return calls, then they can't be trusted to fill numerous, essential meds. I'll go to another pharmacy. They were going to get numerous, monthly, EXPENSIVE prescription orders, but not now. Good job, team. read more

I give this store an extra star because employees have always been kind and helpful and this location is ALWAYS busy with a line. I love reading reviews when they mention a location or the store being ghetto. Hey! you chose the area so you can't blame the store I have always found what I am looking for and everything is easy to locate. The pharmacy has always been right on top of anything my mom needs and readily available to answer questions My overall experience has always been above average. This has to be the slowest Rite aid around especially since the more efficient rite aid on broadway shut down. Ms. KAY unfortunately takes forever. She is the only person who can turn a none existing line into 10people deep. I have give Ms. KAY several chances. I have visited this pharmacy at least 4 times in the last 4 months. She is always the one covering the counter. She is slow, for example, a person before me was picking up 2 scripts. Ms. KAY has to go through the full 3 lines of scripts with no luck. Mind you checking every one slowly. Then comes back to check the computer. Confirms it says 2 them returned to all of the hanging scripts behind the counter and begins looking again. She finally finds them but mind you she is chatting it up with the techs behind the counter talking about how she would love to go on vacation and go zip lining. In my head I was yelling "don't distract her!!!" By this time the line turned into 8people. And what should have been a 5minute pickup turned into 20mins of standing in line waiting. No other people help out at the counter unless she asks and since she believes herself to be doing fine she does not ask for their aid. I can't waste my time coming back here anymore. read more

I use the pay as you go through their online app, that is supposed to say the customer time. However when I got there I still had to wait in the line just as a regular paying customer. When I explained that the app says that you can go directly to the counter or drive up if available, the clerk told me not here you still have to go through the regular line. The medications are not bagged and ready to go. I just don't think this is good customer service to offer an option and not actually utilize it for the customer. read more

I came by this location to pick up a few additional items I needed for a project I've been working on at work. I want to start of by saying that I get annoyed with employees who do not know what products they carry at their own place of employment. I needed to pick up some round wooden toothpicks, and after browsing a while and not being able to find the tooth picks, I stopped and ask a an employee if they had any. The lady told be they only had the plastic kind over at the dental aisle. Feeling frustrated, I gave up on the toothpicks and picked up a few other things I need. But, as I proceeded to the cash register, lo and behold, what did I see, a twin package of round wooden toothpicks for a buck. Hello people? Over here! In addition to the lack luster service, the place was a little disorganized. I was going to show the employee where the toothpicks were located, but I decided to be nice, pay for my stuff, and leave. read more

In regards to the pharmacy: WORST experience every single time but I have to go here for prescription. There's always a MASSIVE line, and the associate helping is always extremely rude and dismissive, won't let you explain everything before interrupting you, etc. You can ask them to verify a medication manufacturer, be told yes it's the same as last month, and still get the wrong one. Nothing is ever fast, and none of them want to help. Try to prove you wrong before checking and seeing that they're wrong. read more

David in the pharmacy very rude and unwilling to help. I had a prescription sent over and apparently wasn't in system yet. He just shook his head and said "it's not here". When I asked him to re check he just kept saying it wasn't there. Didn't even ask the pharmacist to see if it had been faxed over. Which it was. It was waiting for the pharmacist to process. It was too much for him to just ask a simple question. No longer doing business with them. Taking my prescriptions to another pharmacy. She enjoys to make people the elderly feel belittled. If she doesn't take pride in serving her community and working then she should choose a different career. i go here every time I am in need of something that I forgot to get from the big-box retail stores or supermarkets. prices are a little bit steeper, but the shorter lines and efficient service makes it worth my time. I love this place, always well stocked. people are always smiling and willing to help find the items I need. I have lots of stories of times that employees have gone out of their way to assist me. Now most employees know who I am. Maybe they dont know my name but greet me and ask or refer to previous visits. It feels really good to know that these workers acknowledge and recognize their customers. read more

Do not use this pharmacy if you have more than one prescription to pick up. They very rarely give them all to you at once, even though they are all ready. This has happened to us multiple times, and the reason we switched pharmacies. The rest of the store is fine, though. read more

Waited almost 2 hrs for 3 prescription. They tell you it will take 10 mins but then an hour pass by and its still not ready. Give them more time and they say its still Not ready. Surprisingly clean and convenient. My problem with this store is that if you don't have a membership you miss out on fair prices. I paid $5.99 versus 3.99 for my ice cream because of it. I got kicked out of the store, with both arms full, standing in line waiting to pay for my stuff. Doing ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. Not talking to anyone, literally just standing there. If I was the store manager, and witnessed or even HEARD of what that employee did, he would have been fired ON THE SPOT. CONGRATS RITE AID... This location has the WORST pharmacy. Your doctor will call in the prescription and they won't process it. You can call them and ask them to process the order; yet, when you arrive you will still need to wait 30-40 minutes. All the pharmacist are turtle slow and couldn't care less about good customer service. Avoid the wait and go somewhere where they actually do their jobs efficiently. read more

Do not get your prescription from here. Was told it would be only 45 min. It has now been 2 hours and still waiting for my prescription. Ikram who helped did nothing. I waited and she just left with out telling me anything. She was more worried about going home. Another person working the counter told they don't have the medication in stock. I grew up in this area and this shopping center can be a little sketch so take extra precaution when coming here by yourself, especially late at night. Always be aware of your surroundings. Anyway, I came here a little past midnight for a few snacks. We were warmly greeted by the security officer who was standing near the store entrance. As we walked in, we shivered a bit because it was cold and the security officer overheard us saying so and he kindly offered us his jacket. We, respectfully, declined, but appreciated his gesture. We walked around the store to grab our snacks. The aisles were clean and the shelves were fully stocked. I was surprised to find out that they still served ice cream, albeit not all the flavors were there. It's okay though... I'm not picky. I didn't catch the cashier/ associate's name, but she was friendly too. I go here from time to time if I need something when Albertson's is closed since this RiteAid is open 24 hours. *** Tip: Sign up for a Rite Aid member card so that you can receive the discounted price on a few items rather than paying full price (which is usually more than grocery store prices). read more

I received a voice message saying that my prescription is ready. Since i'm not sure what prescription that is and since my phone number is "recycled" i'm not sure if that prescription is mine, so i called them to verify. I just said that i'm calling to verify because i just received a message and the lady just snapped at me saying "Why do you still need to call back if you already received a voice message telling you it's ready?" Oh excuse me lady, first of all your auto caller didn't say anything about the name of the prescription or even the patient's name so i have to verify right?. I already have a couple of incidents that a medical office was calling me regarding a test appointment from my phone number's previous owner...sheeesh...So since she already irritated me and they messed up my insurance and i don't want to spend another minute in that place, i just paid the prescription's full price out of my pocket, walked out of their store, and placed a prescription transfer to CVS....I will never come back to this place. Great customer service ! I stopped in for some ice cream, because thriftys ice cream can't be beat, it brings me back to childhood summers. I was greeted and assisted without missing a beat. Mariana serviced me quickly, but most importantly it was without feeling rushed which is huge when it comes to customer service because it makes me feel like an individual,not just another customer receiving grey, robotic, stoic service. Two drippy ice cream covered thumbs up! Makes the ice cream that much sweeter. Thank you for keeping it personal, especially during these social distancing covid times, where people are treated less human and more like a walking disease.
