We find the whole staff very friendly and we appreciate the time they take to inform and answer any questions we might have. My family moved to Schaffner after using Rite Aid…read more The difference is significant. They fill prescriptions quickly but the main point is the staff. They are so friendly and caring. It's like having a family friend help you out. They know all our names and who we are when we pull up. They respond quickly to text messages through their app. They have a nice inside shop too. If you happen to hate ugly compression socks, they have a lot of colorful, interesting pairs there. We have a trans family member and the staff instantly made note and they consistently make sure that they use the proper pronouns. They are exactly how a pharmacy should be. There are only two cons. They are understandable, but not convenient sometimes: 1. They are closed on weekends. 2. They close at 6pm That's it, and those are cons I can live with. I can't recommend Schaffner Pharmacy enough!

The woman told me they will be ready by two. I told her never mind. I'll take my prescription somewhere else she said no they'll be ready by two. It's one hour. Just just wait. We'll take care of you so I come back at 2:18 because there's a line and they don't even have my name in the computer and they haven't even started the process. I had to sit in their parking lot and cry in pain while they did absolutely nothing. They have zero compassion and zero empathy and what a terrible agency. I understand that shit happens & days that nothing goes right. I typically would never write a review abt something going wrong cuz hey it happens. But in this case its every single time! I thought ok maybe they r new. But nope its the same few people that always work at this pharmacy. Its so bad that it really has me thinking that they must all be getting HIGH on their supply. First off, they're very Covid conscious. If you don't want to go inside, you can give them a call and they will bring your items outside to you. There is hand sanitizer everywhere, and everyone wears masks. Second - my goodness, everyone is SO NICE. Super helpful. I needed to get a prescription filled, and they had me entered into the system quickly and filled the prescription within 15 minutes. They also worked with me on a flu shot I had scheduled to reschedule me to when I wasn't on a steroid treatment. They never made me feel like I was inconveniencing them or putting them out, they were truly happy to just be helping me. You're not going to be getting a huge selection of everything you want or need for your pharmacy needs (it's not a Walgreens), but they are going to have something for you. Prices are a little higher, but hey, it's an island. In addition to the 'pharmacy' section, the General Store has a large selection of goods. There is a huge selection for kids - toys, markers, crayons, etc., amongst seasonal items. We're really grateful to have Ray's just a stones throw away for whatever we need!

She sounded very knowledgeable and competent and said she would do it. Just found out it never happened, as the cvs in other state said they never submitted transfer request. Do not use this pharmacy.
