No wonder this place is going bankrupt.... I tried to get a prescription filled, and they told me my insurance wouldn't cover it, but I'm on the VA community care program as a Veteran. So I walked out. If they did that to me, they do it to every single Veteran that comes in the door. They're a dying company anyway, so I just won't shop there ever again. read more

After having an insulin pump for 8 years and having learnt the exact requirements that Medicare needs for billing , my husband took a prescription to Prineville Rite Aid for 3 months insulin supply. He tried to give all his insurance details and all required information to the ill informed pharmacy staff. She absolutely blew off all of this, said it wasn't required. He tried to explain but she still wouldn't listen. Now they'll be sitting on the insulin as it came back with a charge!!!! I understand that not all pharmacies are up to speed with the insulin pump billing ( dealt with Walgreens) but at least have the courtesy to listen to your customers who have been dealing with these issues and don't be so dismissive and arrogant to think you know everything. In the meantime, my husband could very well end up in the ER when his insulin runs out read more

Someone needs to do something about that male cashier with the glasses, Gareth, in the pharmacy. EVERY single time I've been in there he has an attitude. One time, he came out of a room with his mouth full of food and was talking to me. It was extremely disgusting and completely unprofessional. Then he burped! And LAUGHED! DISGUSTING!! He never looks like he wants to be there. He will argue with you if you try and ask him anything and then send you away and he will tell you about things, but if you talk to one of the girls they correct him and will say he's wrong! He either needs to be fired or removed from the pharmacy! read more

Almost 2 weeks ago, I had an RX sent to Rite Aid. Over the following week, I called the pharmacy at least 20 times to ask questions and to check on the RX. They didn't answer the phone. Sure you get the recording, but when asking to speak to someone, it just kept looping back to the recording. I am disabled and don't drive, so I cannot just drive there to ask questions and/or pick up the medication. I have to send someone, and I will not do that unless I know the RX is ready. I call their national number, and they said they'd send them a message to call me, but NO ONE CALLED! So after a week of trying to reach someone in the pharmacy, I had to call my doctor's office and explain the issue. I had to have them reroute the RX to another pharmacy. This posed an issue since they monitor the RX, and the doctor's office had called the pharmacy to verify that I hadn't picked it up. After three attempts, they understood the problem I was having and redirected the RX to another pharmacy. I am beyond disappointed with Rite Aid. I live in a smaller town, and pharmacies are limited here. The pharmacy is not worth the frustration for me and I will not attempt to use them again. read more

To All of Prineville!! Do not use this Pharmacy for your prescription needs!! The WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!! Especially the Manager "Even & Garreth" the rudest workers who cover up for each other and allow unacceptable behavior to their customers!! They are always behind, running late, short staffed or some reason why they can't get to you in an appropriate amount of time! Absolutely horrible, heartless & rude a$$ people in that Pharmacy! read more
