She interupted, barked at me and told me to sign in on a touch screen. I tried a couple of times. The screen told me I wasn't in the system. I told the "Karen" behind the counter that it didn't work. She huffed, looked up my RX, and told me it was "in process." It would be 15 minutes. 10 minutes later they called my name over the loud speaker and said my RX was ready. When I went back to the counter, she again ordered me to sign in on the touch screen. I said, "remember, I not in the system." She ordered me again to sign in on the screen, stating my name was in there now. I tried twice and again it said I wasn't in the system. Then she ridiculed me for making supposed errors. I have a hyphenated name. She ordered me to enter just the last part of my last name. I wanted to point out that I use my legal name at CVS, but she cut me off and ordered me to enter my name the way she told me. I did it twice, again, it said I wasn't in the system. Again, she ridiculed me for making mistakes that I didn't make. I asked to just get my prescription. She told me that she wouldn't be able to find it unless I sign in on the screen. She ordered me to try again. At that point, I said, "No." I was done being her circus monkey. So we were at an impasse, apparently. She wasn't going to give me my prescription. Frustrated, I said,"Why can't you just give me my effing (yes, I dropped the f bomb) prescription so I can leave?" Then, she really flew of the handle and acused me of cussing at her. I used the f word as an adjective to describe the noun "prescription," not her. I told her she was rude. She told me I was rude. Then she went and told a couple of pharmacy employees that I had cussed at her. I think the pharmacist must have told her to give me my RX. She came back and gave me my RX without saying a word. This is how they treat sick elderly people. Only go there if you want to be abused. When I was in the military I had more cordial drill sergeants.

Worse, we keep getting inaccurate timelines from the pharmacy, forcing us to drive over multiple times just to be told it still isn't ready. The first prescription was an antibiotic, the second was migraine medication (and now my wife has a migraine without medication). I understand if you can't get medicine, but at least attempt to give us accurate timelines. Both times we were told to come back at a specific date/time only for it not to be ready - twice. Never again.

Get rid of the Asian Josh in seafood for starters. Today is 9/12/26, a Saturday. I was going to…read morespend a lot of cash at this Hershey Giant. Had a great shopping experience until I asked the woman in meat to give me a price on pre-packaged salmon. She said, "I can't hear you and Josh in seafood can help you". I figured I should speak loudy to ask Josh what the price was on the salmon so I spoke loudly. Josh told me I was screaming and talking too loud and walked away from me. I told him "don't be offended, life is tough". He never answered my question on price. The customer is always right. I put products back I was so pissed! I was checking out and saw Josh in the aisle and said I am going to report you. He flicked me off. Did not apologize or make any amends. Remember, Giant, the customer is always right! I seem to ALWAYS have a problem at the Hershey, PA Giant. I have no problems with the Dillsburg, Hummelstown, Cleona, Camp Hill stores. I shop also at the Havertown Giant outside Philly by only 3 miles. That place is mayhem, especially when the Eagles play! The racial stuff is a challenge there too. Fights break out in line and at the gas pumps but I don't have problems there. You have to be respectful there because you may get a bullet in the head. Usually everyone walks on eggshells to keep the peace there. Too many people. Anyway, I paid my bill and the sales person was delightful. The assistant store manager, Tony Paul, came over at my request and was fantastic. So one worker can't hear me and the other thinks I am screaming. I have choices: Pronio's, Grocery Outlet, Aldi, Weis, Redners, Wawa, Karns. Screw you, Giant and Josh in seafood!!!!

The RX staff is very friendly and go out of their way to help anyway they can. The retail store area is pretty packed .. but they carry everything.. and by everything I mean McGuyver would be in paradise.. they have batteries, dvds, "as seen on tv" crap, meds, cards, picture frames, food, enemas (haven't ever used one of those but for some reason I giggle should I happen to walk by them), candy, shampoo, and the list goes on and on. The retail staff is very friendly too. I like going in there so my kid can do one of his favorite things at the pharmacy... count old people, no I'm not kidding, and if you have ever known a kiddo with Autism you will know they are sometimes inappropriate but always entertaining. Terrible experience/customer service at the CVS pharmacy on Derry Street today. I pulled into the…read moredrive-through line at precisely 1:30 PM, right behind another vehicle. When the employee finished helping the car ahead of me, they looked right at me, shook their finger, and shut the window in my face. After waiting a few minutes, the same employee finally came back but refused to open the window, shouting through the glass that the pharmacy was closed. When I pointed out that I had already been waiting in line, they refused to communicate like a professional... and walked away. The pharmacist eventually came over, a few minutes later and opened the window,. After I explained exactly what happened she rudely reiterated that they were closed for a 30-minute lunch break and would reopen at 2:00 PM. When I calmly suggested that they really need to post a sign or block off the drive-through lane--which wraps entirely around the back of building--so waiting customers actually know about their closure policy, management completely dismissed the feedback. If you use this drive-through, be warned that they will let you wait in a hidden line without any warning and then shut the window on you. I have already escalated this to corporate, but future customers deserve to know how poorly this location treats people. Shame on you, CVS, for your complete lack of professionalism and unwillingness to put out a simple sign to let your customers know. The customers time waiting in line is every bit as important as your employee is taking their lunch break. Do better.!!!!!
