This is now a Walgreens drug store. I had several poor experiences over several years coming to this Pharmacy but overlooked them because of the convenience of being located close to work and my doctor's office. One trip convinced me to write a review. I was expecting four prescriptions. Two were ordered by my doctor after a visit about a week earlier and two refills made on line two days before arriving to pick them up. I received one bag with one prescription and no comments from the tech as I started to pay. I asked the tech if she had the other prescriptions. She wasn't aware of others. Upon checking the computer, she said too much time passed on the doctor ordered prescriptions so they put them back which was odd because the one prescription in the bag was from the recent doctor's order. I asked about the two I ordered online. She told me one was too early to order and the other required a doctor refill. On the first, I said I doubled the dose per doctor's instructions and that I mentioned it in the comments section of the Walgreens web site. I was told they don't contact doctors and it was my responsibility to contact the doctor. On the second refill, she told me I needed the doctor to order the refill and that should have been prompted on the website. The pharmacist offered to reach out to the doctor for this prescription refill which they have also done in the past. . So...in the end, the pharmacy filled one of the doctor ordered prescriptions that the tech said was put back. I waited 15 - 20 minutes to fill the other doctor ordered prescription and to receive a partial fill of a medication I had to pay for out of pocket that I ordered on line two days prior but could not go without. I contacted one doctor for a prescription change because this pharmacy doesn't contact doctors about these things yet the pharmacy contacted the doctor's office for the other prescription. These challenges frequently happen to me here. I would have appreciated a phone call/voice message or text notification that your prescriptions are ready or there are issues with some of your prescriptions. I have also noticed that when I arrive early in the morning, they are often late (10-15 minutes) in opening the doors. To be fair, I had some very good experiences with this pharmacy as well. Most of the staff is very pleasant and helpful. The line normally moves fairly quick. They really work with you. I've been here many times with my children and for myself and heard the Pham Tech and or Pharmacist patient explaining something be it insurance issues or med questions to senior patrons when asked. The other patrons are always courteous as the line forms a little ways from the counter so that each patron has some sliver of privacy. However, there is one Staff memeber who is quite loud. First she asks really loudly, "Date of birth???" I don't think she knows she's Super loud. Well just maybe I want to enter that on the screen if possible instead announcing my personal info aloud. I'm sensitive that way. Anyways other than that cusps here. I've gotten the flu shot here. The pharmacist was polite and courteous and provided me with a copy of documentation for my work. Also I received a cream prescription from my dermatologist and the pharmacy tech made me aware that it came I. A larger size that I could request that via my Doctor next time instead of receiving 3 small ones which also required 3 copays each time. I appreciate that. Thanks read more

I had no problem when the cashier told me that it'd be a 30 minute wait before my prescriptions would be ready. What I definitely have a problem with is one person at the cash register and her co-workers watching the line grow. I counted at least two patrons who had medications and she left to go mix them. IMO, her co-worker should have taken it to have it mixed while she finished the transaction. Instead, she left the area; the customer finished paying and collected his own receipt and stood there waiting on her return with his product. In another thought, I pondered why she would even offer it to the patron if it hadn't been mixed already. I overheard one of the other workers say "She needs help with that line" I watch as she slowly rings up two more people before someone comes from the back to assist. By this time I'm up to bat. She asked the name on the prescription and then the slow cashier (let's call her Molasses) interjects to ask her what she doing. I'm puzzled at this point because she had a customer waiting. I'm told the price for the prescriptions and I go to pay and she asks if I have a "Plenti" card. By this time I give 0 fux about a Plenti card and would like to just pay and go. After being told to swipe my card twice and insert it into the reader it finally accepts it and I am reading through the prompts. One asked if I would like to decline the Pharmacist's advice or if I agree with the advice given by the Pharmacist. By this time I'm a tad irritated and asked her to be anything other than robotic and actually initialize her customer service skills. After she gave me the two blinks and a muffled scoff; she asked the main Pharmacists if she had any advice for me. After a resounding no I take my purchase and wondered how picking up a kid's prescription became so complicated. I looked at the prices for items for sale and there is a significant markup on things. Note to self, Dollar tree is right across the way if you need an item similar for whatever ails ya. This location could definitely benefit from a team building event to improve their flow....IJS. read more

After being told by CVS that over 3 hours wasn't enough time to fill a script, I came here. They closed within 15 min of my arrival, and my script was ready in 5 min!!!! Great customer service!! Will continue to come here!! read more

Called in to have a prescription refilled. Luckily, I call in advance since I need to maintain a blood level of this medication. When I showed up to pick up my prescription, I was told that they were out of the medication and would have it after 2pm the next day. I called the next day to find out that the medication had not arrived yet and told them to fill a partial, if possible. Normally, I get an automated voicemail letting me know the prescription, but had not gotten one four days later. When I called, they never bothered to do a partial fill or let me know that they had no idea when they would get the medication in. Again, I HAVE to maintain a blood level of this medication. I am finding it hard to believe that there is an actual pharmacist who works there!!! Taking my business to a pharmacy where I don't get pushed through the cracks. read more

Literally just a pharmacy, no extras like milk or shampoo or first aid products. Worth knowing if you drive out of the way for anything other than medicine. read more

Even though this Rite Aid is the closest to my house, I will never have my prescriptions filled here again. I waited in a ridiculously long line (which is understandable, it's cold and flu season) only to get up to the counter and be told that they do not have my prescription in stock (it was for a Z-Pak, so not anything outrageous or crazy specific). The two women running the counter were completely incompetent. One offered to transfer my prescription to another local Rite Aid and to call ahead and confirm that they had the prescription in stock, and I agreed. She then told me that she "didn't know how to do that" and that they "probably don't have it either" and asked if she could fill part of my prescription that day, order more of the drug, and then have me return to the pharmacy to retrieve the remainder of my prescription. As asinine as that seemed, I agreed because I was on a time constraint and in massive pain from a dual ear infection with ruptured eardrums. I sat down to wait for about ten minutes and could hear the two women LOUDLY discussing how "needy" I was being and that my prescription wasn't even written correctly before one of them finally came out and told me that my doctor needed to be called to confirm the prescription. After about twenty minutes, they finally called me back up to the counter and they had miraculously found another container of the medication to fill my prescription. I can understand a few mishaps but rude and incompetent staff on top of it just really burned my experience here. read more
