They did not mind at all taking time to get my question answered. (And yep, I had gotten bad info from my current pharmacy. I would have gotten sick!) I don't know the current pharmacy manager, but have always had excellent service from Rowena & the part time PharmD Jill. Next time I am in town, I owe my favorite pharmacy team some baked goods!

Worst pharmacy in town, in my opinion. My mom was getting…read moreher prescriptions from here. I asked that I be able to pick up her meds, rather than wait around all day for a delivery. When I did go pick up her meds, the staff were unfriendly and seemed annoyed that I'd come to get the meds rather than have them delivered. 2 months ago, they sent her a text that they had planned to deliver her meds that day (not sure why they ignored my request to pick them up) but had only discovered that day that she needed refills, so her delivery would be delayed for 5 days. No apology, no offer of emergency meds to cover her, I guess she was just supposed to keep her blood pressure down with the power of her mind. Last month, again they ignored my request to not have her meds delivered and sent her a text that the delivery was on its way. No one showed up. She called the next day to ask where her meds were and they said they would be delivered the following week. Again, no apology, no emergency meds. I'd had enough and went to another pharmacy to transfer her prescriptions. The new pharmacy called me and said that Akron Health Mart Pharmacy had actually refused to allow the transfer until I called to tell them why. So, I did. She's now with the new pharmacy and we are so glad to be done with these folks. Please, save yourself the headache and go anywhere else.

I understand they were busy, but they lost my future business due to 1) incorrect information and not evening checking in coverage 2) ignoring me and taking other customers 3) lack of compassion. This is new and scary, I am not a number and this is a medical supply store. Kindness would of been nice and I felt like I was a nuisance to them. I am all for small business and this is way out of the way for me. Two years ago, they were helpful in working with me to help a relative.
