Terrible store and service. Overpriced and nothing on the shelves. Not surprised it's closing.

They never have what you need-- when asked, they say they're recovering from bankruptcy, but still the shelves are not stocked after many many months. The manager is borderline rude. This is the worst Rite Aid ever. read more

I've gotta say this store is nearly perfect. The staff and pharmacy folks are always friendly and helpful and offer a nice hello. The signage is exacting making it easy to find things. The shelved items are straight and visible. Cleanliness is above and beyond expectations. I feel like pulling up a lounge chair and reading a book in the isles. So muck better than Walgreens, which sucks and most cvs stores. read more

tried getting a prescription filled and the guy who answered was incredibly rude and unhelpful, I was transferring prescriptions from another rite aid because my rx was out of stock at every other rite aid nearby and he very blatantly refused service because I had no relationship with that location even though they do this all the time... thanks for nothing! read more

I signed up for their wellness55 program and when I went in in January the people at the cash registers had to figure out how to enter the code for this discount on this program. It took forever, and finally they found a binder with some code in it and used it. It was the 1st Wed of every month and I registered for this program ahead of time, entering in all my information. I went back the 1st Wed. in March and no one, again, knew about this until the manager came up and told me they didn't have that program anymore but they had some other welness program but it was nothing great. Some points system that was hard to figure out was offered so I didn't get any discount at all. Because thee was no discount, I had to have them take an expensive item off. It didn't look like they had done that but the cashier insisted she had. She had not. It's a disorganized staff and they are still showing that they offer this Welness65 program even though they don't. Very disorganized and misleading. read more

I had to post a star. Negative zero stars is more like it. Monroe Turnpike Monroe CT. Went in to shop. The worker said I wasn't 6 feet away from her. Very rude. Walked right out. Never shopping there again. ! Train your staff better!!! read more

I am very impressed with the level of expertise and high quality customer service. The staff are nice and I always seem to get all the items I'm looking for. Awesome selection of weight loss and protein. This is my go to pharmacy and store. Highly recommend that people stop in and experience this great store service. And for all those people bitching it's a store get over it. read more

Leslie in pharmacy a total b-tch, going out of town for week, all packed family in car, wanted to refill my perscription. She said the computer said i had one pill left. Note , non narcotic, for high glucose and diabities. So she wouldnt refill it, said come back tommorow. Told her my situation, didnt care. After I complained loudly enough the other pharmasist refilled the script. Have had problems with leslie ever since, Lost perscriptions, not filled for two days, etc. my wife and i did get a lot of meds there. Not any more read more

I'm surprised by the number of negative reviews. I have always found the staff to be helpful. They make every effort to answer questions and get you prescriptions filled in timely manner. We have been going there since we moved to town more than 10 years ago and have yet to have a bad experience. read more

I have been a customer at this store for over 20 years shopping for groceries and medicine for a family of 5. Yesterday my daughter asked me to fill a scrip for her because she was leaving on vacation that evening so I dropped off first thing. The scrip was dated 4/30 which I discussed with the tech I dropped it with. I explained she was renewing early because of vaca. She did not seem concerned about that-only if she had enough of the drug. I asked her if we are all set and she said she has to call the insurance company for approval to fill 2 days early and I said that is fine and to let me know if there is an issue. I returned later in the day around 3:45 assuming everything was fine since I had not heard anything. After their normal search around for the order, the girl came back over and explained that they had left a message for the Dr. and they had not heard back. They could not understand why I was upset they did not attempt to contact me. After some haggling back and forth-it was clear that I was not going to get the pills so I asked for the scrips back so she could fill on vaca. A couple of things to note about how they handled this especially the pharmacist. -All 5 woman who were behind the counter got involved in some fashion all negative for most part. -One young/new girl decided to chime in even though she was not helping me and yelled out"why didn't your daughter get the scrip for 4/28?" not cool -Then when I was getting the scrips back from pharmacist I said to her that they should be ashamed the way they treated a lifelong customer and for their lack of follow through. When I said this at least 2-3 of the girls burst out laughing. If I was the manager I would have fired them all on the spot if I could The conversation ended with the pharmacist telling me she had done all she could-in which I relied that they clearly did not since they just lost a life long customer. I will never set foot in that store again-we are off to CVS read more

I don't understand why everyone is upset, I love this pharmacy!!! Very neat and clean store.. and has a little bit of everything. The pharmacists are techs are always very knowledgeable and helpful and I can get text alerts the moment my persciptions are ready!!! I can pick up anything from from small grocery items, tobacco and lottery, to gift cards and even office supplies!!! Prices are reasonable, location is convenient on the main road, and if there is a long wait for your persciptions... there's even a coffee shop right next door!!! I can't honestly find 1 thing negative to say about this location... 5 stars!!! read more

I like the pharmacy staff. Always very pleasant and go out of their way to help me. They answer my questions, listen to my concerns and with very little wait time. Three years in a row get my flu shot right there. I think they do a nice job! read more

This is a very nice store. I have been a customer for many years. The pharmacists and the pharmacy techs are very helpful. Teresa Judd is top notch, very competent, efficient, and caring. I am really glad that our insurance for 2015 will allow us to get prescriptions there again as I have missed their excellent, convenient, service. In terms of the store itself, I like the wide variety of the items in the store and it is nice and clean. read more

The WORST pharmacy in town. They never have any medicine in stock, their hours, especially on weekends are too short, and the pharmacists are not pleasant to deal with at all. Do yourself a favor and use the Walgreens across town or in Newtown. read more

I really don't like this place. I dislike it so much, I stopped going. My daughter dropped a script. there and asked me to get it. Trouble again. I just can't take it. There are other places in Monroe. read more
