DELAWARE MUST DO BETTER!! I am a Type 1 Diabetic. I called…read morein my rx for insulin (as their automated refill always states I don't have any rx's to fill) so I wait on the phone for a representative. Georgetown Walgreens at least is usually only about a 30 minute wait versus Millsboro Walgreens that is 45 minutes minimum. I called three weeks ago to have my insulin filled and was advised there was none in stock and it was going to be ordered and I would receive a text message notification of once it had been ordered. I then heard nothing for two weeks. I call back and am advised that there is a back order for insulin and that mine has been ordered but has not been received yet. I wait three days and call back concerned about the amount of insulin. I have remaining at home and expressed my concern to the girl that answered the phone. I am then advised that there was a hold on my script and it was because of the brand that was put in for the insulin and that she is unaware as to why there was the hold or hang up, but it has been approved by my insurance and that she has now ordered the insulin and that it should be received by tomorrow. This is not something that is a choice. I literally required to have this medication to be alive. It is absolutely horrific to believe that this is the best that Walgreens and that Delaware is able to do for the community and State.

I know it's less than a dollar difference but the point is a customer should get what is advertised. This is also the same promotion run in every other store I have visited in a 30 mile radius. With customer service like this, I will turn around and cross the highway next time, and shop another store, to prevent giving this poor excuse for a store a single penny of my money.

Very awful experience in there about a half hour ago. The line was long and an elderly lady cut us…read morein line (which we didn't realize at the time, we thought she was with the woman before her) and then some noisy person that knew the workers forgot something and was behind us and so some employee that was working with headphones on opened a second line and he also cut us off. The elderly lady then started to write a check and so we called him out on also cutting in line just because he was "closer" when the employee opened the new line and the new second cashier closed their register before checking us out. We were then called the rude ones and told "if you don't like it you can just leave" and that's exactly what we did. To summarize, the lines were long, a "known" customer got special treatment because they knew him and we were treated horribly and called rude. None of these employees should be working a register with this attitude. You have lost our business for these actions of your employees who were in fact the rude ones.
