On 9/10/2019, I drove my wife here to get her flu shot. Then she said, "You're getting one too." I was set up ... I hate injections! However, they gave us a coupon for a free scoop of ice cream. Also, the employees here are very friendly. The flu shot didn't hurt too much, then the pharmacist said we should get the shot for shingles, but, they just happened to be out of it. Oh bummer, see ya!! I could care less about ice cream. Buh-bye! 9/11/2019 We're baaack because my hypo(and hyper)chondriac of a wife called earlier today to find out when the shingles serum would be available. Why-why-why-why?!? I hate injections! Rite Aid: "Oh, the shingles shot IS available, it was a miss communication, why don't you come in tonight." Wife: "Oh great! We'll see you soon." Me: "Daayum! This one hurt more than the flu shot!" I am going to admit this is one of my stops I like to go for my fave ice cream combos. Whether it be a cone or purchase the tubs. Great prices for scoops of goodness. Plenty of flavors to select from too. I also come here for greeting cards. I'm sure if you are in need for something they will have it. The customer service is friendly too. I noticed that the cashiers are good at checking the lines, when the lines are too long they are quick to call for back up. Returning customer here, and not only for ice cream. read more

I use this pharmacy because they have a drive up. I have very painful arthritis and because of this, I have asked them repeatedly to not use childproof caps on my meds. We have no children in our home. I have asked them to put this requirement in my file. But they still continue to put these caps on my med bottles, which makes it VERY painful for me to open my meds. I wish I knew what to do to make them stop using these. Also, they very seldom answer the phones in the pharmacy and I am not able to get through to Rite Aid corporate, because they just transfer you back to the store location. It is very frustrating. The store is very busy, so it is next to impossible to talk with the pharmacist in person. read more

Pharmacist was speaking to a customer who had his mask fully removed to speak with her. I watched for a few minutes from the drive thru window waiting for her to say something. Grossed me out that a medical professional wouldn't say something. Not to mention how uncommunicative staff is when medicine is ready, even my doctor mentioned what a nightmare they are to work with. Very good store. Not crowded. Pharmacists and staff are helpful. Overall staff including manager are very friendly. I had a cell phone lost there and they went all out to find it. They keep up the merchandise. Prices are competitive. I prefer to CVS or Walgreens. read more

Could not ask for more! Excellent pharmacy service--always (in my experience) helpful. When I needed a vaccination, the vaccinator did a first-class job (painless--dunno how she did it!) The pharmacy staff extended themselves to do what was wanted/needed--they succeeded magnificently in extending themselves, doing more than what they were minimally obliged to do. FIVE star things about this Rite Aid location: -Store staff (excludes the pharmacy). -Products and selection. -Cleanliness. -Convenience. ONE star: -Some of the pharmacy staff (one young lady in particular - horrible customer service). -The pharmacy sitting area is sort of grungy (would not hurt to clean up the sitting area). -Customer service is not all that good (except their main doctor - he's such a gentleman). read more

I can't even begin to explain my absolute disgust and with this store. My husband who is Hispanic (I am white), went in to buy some snack items for our son. When he walked in he was wearing a black LA hat. He walked over to the baby section looking for Organic baby snacks.. When he saw they did not have the specific Organic baby food item our son needs (he is severely allergic to anything with milk in it), my husband then left the store so we could run across to Walgreens. While he was walking out to let me know they did not have the items I asked for, an employee followed my husband out to our car and started taking pictures of my license plate. Let me be very clear, we are very well to do and drive a brand new Lexus and have never been profiled as people who would steal anything. We had no idea why this employee was following us through the parking lot taking pictures of our car with our baby inside. My husband became very upset, stopped the car and asked him why he was taking pictures. The guy actually said " Sir your acting suspicious, you walked in looked at the shelf then left, and your wearing an LA hat, and when we get guys like you in our store they are always stealing". They are completely racist and didn't say a word to me obviously because i'm white, but assumed my husband was stealing because he is Hispanic. I actually called the store manager and ripped him a new asshole over this and filed a complaint with the Fallbrook Police Department for harassment as well as this guy taking photographs of my car and my son in my car. I WILL NEVER SHOP HERE AGAIN. THEY SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF THEMSELVES! read more

I had a prescription send electronicallu=y from my Dr. at Scripps. When I went to pick it up the pharmacy had my birthdate wrong.I was told to contact my insurance company to get the matter fixed. The insurance company called the pharmacy and told thme to change my birthdate but they refused. The supervisor from the insurance company called back and the pharmacy hung up on her. Later they refused to take any calls from the insurance company. It is clear that the pharmacy had the wrong information in their computer but they refused to change it or maybe they are so inept that they have no idea how to edit a record. I have now changed pharmacy and the insurance company has lodged a formal complaint. read more

I cannot deny what I have experienced anymore. There have been 3 separate occasions now, that the same employee I have encountered has been rude. 2 times at the ice cream counter and once at the register. This last time was it for me. Myself and my daughter were at the ice cream counter today. We ordered 1 cone and 1 cup of ice cream. I wanted to order the cup of ice cream first, but the employee wanted to start with the cone. I informed him I wanted the cup of ice cream first. However, I didn't get an ok, I got a look of disgust and an overall feeling from the employee of 'okay, dammit, we'll do it your way'-seriously, that was the look on his face! After, I got the cup of ice cream, I ordered the cone and that was it. I was just really disturbed by the reaction. So much so, that I think I will not be going over to the ice cream counter any time soon. I just don't understand why it was so hard for him to scoop the ice cream for the cup first rather than the cone......? read more

I've had my prescriptions filled at several drug stores in Fallbrook over the years and really like the service I receive from Rite-Aid. Their drive through is super convenient and theirs hardly any waiting. Being disabled, I find that to be a blessing. read more

After not shopping at, or even entering a Rite Aid for nearly two years, I stopped in today to get a carton of Ice Cream. I had stopped using Rite Aid after being asked for ID to buy beer. They insisted and I walked out leaving the beer on the counter. I'm 62 years old and can easily pass for being of legal age. This policy is ridiculous, and I found out today that they are still doing it. Not to me, there is a Walgreens across the street, and a CVS one block away. So today I had to sign up for a loyalty card in order to get the sale price. That should be illegal as far as I'm concerned. In other words if you don't play the game you get penalized. I just wanted ice cream, not pop quiz with five paying customer behind me waiting. I won't be back, ever. read more

I went to Rite Aid to get a COVID test. I did it because it was drive thru and was "supposed to take a day to get results." Later, I get an email telling me to log in to a link to Project Baseline. I start to do that and it says I need to set up a Google account. I look for an alternative, and do it signing in with my email. But it looks like all I did was use my email address as an ID, and I still ended up with logging in to Google, which I have refused to do in the past. I get told on the web site that it will be 1 - 3 days. After 3 days, I get an email saying it may be 4 days or longer due to their being swamped with testing samples. I call Rite Aid on the 5th day, and am told to call Project Baseline. But there's no phone number on the webpage, nor an email address. Then to my disgust, I learn Project baseline is somehow tied in to Alphabet. Oh yeah and the conversation during the next call to Rite Aid, they tell me they're only the service provider and Project Baseline testing lab they contracted with is located in New Jersey. Rite aid's process for COVID Testing sucks. Sending all their tests obtained Nationwide to New Jersey sucks. I think I need to look for a local Pharmacy. It may cost more, but at least I'll be supporting a local business, that will be more responsive I wish there was a way to assign NEGATIVE Stars.., read more
