I…read morenormally need last minute items like milk or shampoo when I shop here but I also always find myself here around the holidays. Today is the night before Easter and I needed stuff for my kids Easter baskets because I couldn't help but give them their baskets early. Now I'm last minute shopping at 10pm for quick replacement baskets. I was able to find plenty of items to put inside their baskets. They had a lot of stuff still in stock and available. I wish the prices were better on some of the items but I couldn't be picky. I have used this store for prescriptions but it's been years because I normally use Kaiser. When I have used Walgreens the 24 hour service is nice and so is the drive thru that they offer.

I have been filling my prescriptions at this pharmacy for a few years now and they are always very busy. They are constantly having to ask people from the store to come and fill in at the pharmacy. Walgreens should hire more people for this area. The people in the pharmacy area have always been nice but noticeably rushed and in my opinion they are over worked. I have learned to bring in the prescription and then pick it up a few days later and this has been working for me. When they are slow you can usually get a prescription filled in 20 minutes. When they are busy it can take a lot longer, I have never tried to wait for a prescription to be filled while they are busy.

I have now retired calling several times over four days and I have yet to talk to anyone other then they answer, say please hold send then never v come back to the phone. As in never. So my delayed medication still isn't filled. Then we have the issues trying to transfer my medication's from Walmart. They told me at Walgreens to use the app on the phone, so I have. That has been three weeks now and all I have done is resubmit at least half a dozen times and still not one medication has been transferred over. It seems that not only does the Walgreen app not function correctly but their employees do not even care about their customers getting their prescriptions in a timely manner that probably or for health reasons. Sounds like they might be in the wrong line of work it maybe Walgreens should do a complete overhaul of their staffing.

This location is pretty clean, well staffed and plenty of parking. I had heard that Rite Aid has Ice Cream but never considered until my son was very excited about the ice cream counter. Just under $3 for a double scoop, animal cookie flavor for the kid and malted milk chocolate for me. I was suprised just how good both flavors were, rich, creamy, the cone sucked, but the ice cream really is not bad, will have to keep Rite Aid in mind from now on should the need for sugar hit and nothing else better is in the area.

But not only did they refuse to fill it, they did not inform me that they were refusing to fill it. (Doctor sent it over a MONTH earlier) It took me calling on the day of pick up (Friday) to find this out and then I had to scramble to try to get it changed to a different pharmacy to get it filled and so I went two days without my medication. *(Actually 3 days since the doctor was already gone Friday and couldn't send to new pharmacy until Monday, new pharmacy had to order it Monday and didn't get it until Tuesday) Apparently, if you only take one medication that's not enough business for them and they don't want our business, so now I have to go all the way to Victorville just to fill my prescription. Thanks for supporting your towns residents, Jonathans. I guess you only want unhealthy people with multiple prescriptions to make you the most money coming into your store so -duly noted. ***And to your response to this review- After the fact caring because someone writes a negative review for everyone to see dosent make it right. Do better to begin with and treat people how you would want to be treated instead of disregarding them on the phone and knowingly leaving them in a bad situation without medication right before the weekend. I was going on vacation and the medicine I was prescribed made me cough, this I knew thanks to the pharmacist and her knowledge/research. I was vacationing overseas and could not "just call in for cough medicine" according to the nurse in the doctors office. I never did get the meds before I left so I just didn't take them. When I got back, the pharmacist said the doctors office finally called, 2 weeks after 1st call, they claimed I was not their patient, lol!! Queen's pharmacy employees stayed professional all the way through and never Lost their cool. They really cared about me and it was very obvious!!!
