WASTE OF MY TIME. I scheduled an appointment to get my Covid and Flu Shots and was turned away because I had Kaiser coverage. I spend 20 minutes the day before completing the intake questionnaire which I stated I had Kaiser coverage yet it allowed me to complete an appointment request. What a huge disappointment after getting ready for the appointment and then driving all the way there only to find out what could have been avoided if the system worked properly. When I arrived, the clerk took 10 mins to figure it out only to turn me away. She offered no apologies just said they can't help me because I had Kaiser. The only reason I considered going there was because I received a text offering for a scoop of ice cream while I was getting my shots. Needless to say, I blocked them from receiving any further texts from them ever again. They're the next business to go under soon and rightfully so because they do not value plain old CUSTOMER SERVICE. read more

Needed a prescription filled quickly for my child. prescription was confirmed received by 10am. They could not give me a time that it would be ready and I had not heard from them all day so I called again a few minutes before 6. They told me yea it was ready but they're closing. I get here at their opening time the very next day and they are late to open. Terrible work ethic. If you serve customers at 8, you need to be here earlier to prepare for them. read more

Terrible customer service. I've been calling for 40 minutes and not one single person answers the phone in the pharmacy. I called a different location to see if they can help me out but unfortunately this location still would not answer the phone. I am now forced to go drive to this location just to see if my prescription is ready. Time to switch to Walgreens. read more

I am not a normal rite aid shopper but my kids love to come here to get ice cream. When we stop in for ice cream I always look at their seasonal department. They have the cutest Halloween costumes and decorations at great prices. I always see ads in the mail showing their seasonal stuff on sale well before the holidays. I found a lot of fall decor here too. I wasn't expecting it but they have a ton of cute stuff. They never have the decor for full price and if the item you want is not on sale wait a week. The item will probably be on sale the following week. I have used their pharmacy a couple times but the hours don't work for me. I prefer to use a 24 hour pharmacy because I have zero time management skills lol. If you have questions the employees are always very helpful and nice. read more

This is the newer Rite-Aid location in Apple Valley. Admittedly, it looks larger and shinier (re: cleaner) than the other locale, but that could just be because it has a roomier, superior layout to the other one... and it's newer, duh. It was mostly empty when I visited with my niece on a particularly hot day with the exception of the two friendly employees roaming the store. We were lucky the ice cream was on sale, because I believe the original price is $5. Note, there is no public restroom in this store, or at least none that my niece and I could find. Like the other Rite-Aid, this store is over-priced (the price it pays for being a convenience store). Many of the products you find here will be WAY cheaper at the Winco right across the parking lot. Go here for the Thrifty Ice Cream and the drugs (medicine) -- these are the only two areas where it beats Winco. read more

It frequently turns into two trips to pick up medications that were ordered at the same time. There frequently is a delay with no phone call letting me know. It's always a Rite Aid miscommunication with the insurance, the dr, or the pharmacy employees, leaving me stuck in the middle with no medication or making a second or even a third trip when one trip should have succeeded. The clerk today should have spoken with the pharmacist that was there and the one I had spoken with the day before. The clerk was more interested in arguing and interrupting me. The clerk also gave me the wrong information regarding my insurance when the pharmacist had already taken care of it. Again, miscommunication. This pharmacy seems to be chaotic and not enough employees. I think the pharmacists, for the most part, do a good job, but the clerks seem unhappy, unfriendly and have a poor attitude and don't always have accurate information. read more

Wellness card or Rite aid biggest scam yet . If you're on Medicare and have a Valid insurance like Blue shield (Caremore) . They won't give you a rebate of $25 dollars on your wellness card .if you transfer your prescription from another pharmacy Fine print on a coupon and they can't explain why ? They literally closed 10 minutes early and the girl was so rude about it when I told her that they weren't suppose to be closed yet and tried to say that there was only two people closing the store, how unprofessional they should hire more people to close at night then. Today was the third or fourth time using the location to pick up my amazon package. EVERY single time I go in this store, the girls are mean, unfriendly and rude. The gentleman trying to assist me was not very knowledgeable in using the software to pickup packages- instead of helping, the girl told him to turn it off and reset it. When that didn't work, he called someone else to assist. They could not help either so the girl came back- I finally had enough as although all of the windows were down on my car my dog was waiting alone- to take 20 minutes for something that should take 5 tops- is unacceptable. I was also going to make a purchase- and changed my mind - I told them they could put the items back and the girl proceed to say EVEN MORE RUDE COMMENTS thinking I did not hear- Needless to say, I turned around to confront her and she couldn't even make eye contact! I WILL NEVER USE THIS STORE AGAIN! I am surprised that they have such HORRIBLE customer service in this day and age when stores are going out of business left and right. The service is great at this store. Originally I had changed to this Rite Aid, after using the Rite Aid on Hwy 18 for a few years. I can't shop where the customer service and pharmacist treat their customers poorly. The difference in stores & service is like night & day. This store is cleaner, larger, and everyone seems concerned in meeting your needs. Of course we love the ice cream! And the season décor are reasonably priced. Above all, the pharmacy service is great. The head pharmacist is easy & helpful to work with, as are the temp's for the day or on the weekends. read more
